Tom Huddlestone

I don't tend to watch much football outside of United as I don't have skysports but watching huddlestone in the last couple of matches he really stood out for me. His first touch passing is sublime and he seems to have a great range of passing too.

He's definitely too good for Hull.

Definitely a good player. His passing was fantastic against us and provides great crosses from corners. He also has good defensive duties and provides good protection to the defense. Would rate him better Cleverley and Ando. Should be good for Utd. We could certainly do with a player of his quality in our ranks.

If we were to sign him how much do you re'con he would cost ?

He is too slow for us, he was never good enough for Tottenham, I really don't see him being good enough for United. Would be an upgrade on Anderson, but I guess any decent midfielder would be a massive upgrade over Anderson.

Signing Tom Huddlestone would be stone cold incontrovertible proof that the end is nigh.

If you're suggesting we sign him then wow just wow, you clearly for starters don't see us as a top team. He isn't good enough for anyone in the top 6. Couldn't cut it at Spurs not sure why he'd do it here. His level is clubs around 10th - 7th position.

This reminds me a bit of Charlie Adam in his Blackpool days.

What the hell??!?!

Between people saying "4th would be great for us" to "we should Colback and Huddlestone".....Christ!!!!

Forget Moyes and the players, SAF leaving has done a much bigger number on people here

I told you guys... he is the real deal, I vehemently advocated his signing in the summer , but the ladies and gentlemugs on here laughed me off.

Playing well as for Hull is hardly an indication that he's top club material. Clearly he's found his level, let's leave him there.

Like I said in the other thread.

Charlie Adam springs to mind. Hull play with three CMs. Two of them run their socks off for Huddlestone and they built the team around him. He won't get that here.

Is our midfield that bad we are even contemplating Huddlestone??

Not the right midfielder for us clearly, but he's a really enjoyable player to watch if you appreciate that type of player.

I think Anderdon would shine more at Hull than him.

Technically solid player that obviously lacks pace. He is having a great season for Hull and deserves to play for an upper mid-table team. Hull will do well to hold onto him.

Definitely not worth considering for a top team. Just not mobile enough. It's one thing having two players in to do another players running when you're talking about someone like Scholes, but not for Tom Huddlestone. Also got to remember than when teams face Hull they're going for the win which means they will commit people forward and so more space opens up, someone like Huddlestone can make the most of that, at a bigger club where teams will stand off or be more cautious it's a lot harder.

It shows how much us fans have had the life and the will sucked out of them regarding midfield neglect for years when Huddlestone is considered a possibility.

Huddlestone is a better player than Fellaini, however neither is good enough for United.
