169, I'm still rocking a couple of purples and level 30 golds.

I managed to secure one of those supply drops on my own. I thought I was the absolute tits and was about to get loaded up with loot....Two bloody purples I got.

If you can take your gear score down by having poor pistols and secondaries I expect a lot of people to take advantage of that and be using lvl 1 pistols in order to get in the lower DZ

I just like mine due to the damage it puts out. 10k/bullet and up to 30k for crits

They still haven't fixed the door issue on Russian Consulate, but on the plus side I can now view new players killing themselves at the door.

This is a joke. I can't play with my mates because I'm over 161 gear score. Ive u equipped all my golds and its brought me down to 140 and ive logged out and back in and still can't play with them as im still top bracket? feck sake

Did you try putting your 160+ gear in the stash? Might work then.

So it turns out burning all my DZ coin for crafting materials was a bad idea. There are lvl32 gear blueprints on the DZ safe house vendors, expensive tho.

Perma health regen from mask talent is fixed too. Not that I relied on it or anything...

Killed some lvl 32 named in DZ, they just drop lvl30 HE's, 163 gear score stuff. DZ chests drop 2 lvl30's.

DZ06 church vendor sells knee pads & gloves of the nomad as well as blueprints for knee pads and holster of the nomad. blueprint versions have higher gear score.

update: lvl31 named in DZ05 dropped striker's gloves, gear score 214.

Did my first completion today with randomers, Prepare to die and backtrack a lot, focus on slowly working your way through, each room can take 5-10 minutes

I only ever entered the dark zone 3 times in my entire playthrough

I got a few HE items doing the Russian consulate mission on challenging ( I completed it about 5 times) and I used the Phoenix credits from challenge missions to purchase HE gear as well.

Yeah my weapon's pretty poor. Need to up the CHC. The skill power is explained by having rolled around 8k skillpower on a couple of items.

You've only just turned 30 right? Won't take long to increase gear score, wouldn't really recommend spending credits unless you feel it necessary

You're trying to do challenge mode? Yeah it'll be around 130-140 that people'll be happy

You can get HE armour and weapons from just doing hard mode dailies and stuff

I went from 78 to 142 in a couple of hours

I've managed to get through 2 of them it's just this Russian consulate mission that is impossible. Got my gear score up to 110 so another 20 to go and I should be able to at least find a group that won't kick me hahaha

Do Lexington on Challenge instead. Much easier and you get 30 PXC anyway.

@Damien - Tried putting stuff in the stash but wouldn't work.

So got home after the gym and had another crack. Roaming Construction Site, Library and Sports Store. Managed to get out with a 182 Midas, a load of Mags and Barrels, another 182 Sub and a few bits of Armor.

The Midas is 8.5k Damage vs my Vectors 10k but the clip is 57 vs 40 and it's got the same crit chances so im thinking its at least worth a play with.
