Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Really shit PPV.

Miz winning dirty every single match just cancels out his great promos. Predictable matches every time.

Reigns kicks of out so many AAs in succession? I know he's the next big thing but feck right off sideways. Suppose that match can't have any good outcome tbf but still.

Brock winning was OK but he didn't need to win so clean as someone else already pointed out. Hope Joe takes the title off him, but we all know it will be fecking Roman Reigns.

Tag title and women championship matches were good, but never enough to save a PPV. So glad I opted not to go to Wrestlemania for next year already, WWE has been a shit show of late.

It was Braun`s first big match without huge badass spots out of the ring that made people go crazy and he clearly wasn`t ready for it yet. But they should have booked the match better with more near falls and that kind of stuff.

What WWE is doing now is killing the buzz for those who got over with the fans to make Brock look like a unbeatable champ so the precious Roman Reigns can beat him clean at main event of Wrestlemania. The guy is about to main event his 4th WM in a row, something that nobody except for Hogan at his PEAK has done before and the way Vince sees it, he has to beat more legends to officially be the number 1 guy and takeover from Cena. I mean Joe and Braun were over more than anybody in recent years, it`s just a shame they didn`t win the title.

He has and still one of the best things on show. I'd agree on Lesner till before the Joe feud, the past 3 or 4 months Lesner has been pretty good, actually looks like he's making an effort. Not talking about anything that's come before or the past year, all I'm talking about is the match. I'm only going off what I saw and I could hear Lesner to Braun when it shouldn't be obvious like "cover me" like Braun forgot to do it. Could be both but something wasn't clicking when it did at Summerslam.

I don't dislike Lesnar but the reality is that most of his matches are the same at this stage, with the rare occasion of a big surprise (Goldberg destroying him for example). You know exactly what to expect offensively from Lesnar at this stage, he rarely ever does anything differently. The build to Lesnar matches are usually high level, the build to the Joe one was brilliant and so was the build for this Strowman one.

For me I don't think the blame should be on Strowman. The match started really well and then just fizzled out with an absolutely awful finish of them letting Lesnar pin Strowman clean after one F5. It could just be a case of two guys not quite clicking in their first match or even a badly structured match. I don't buy the stuff of it being Braun's fault and his first big match outing.

Fecking ouch.

Apparently the Bullet Club are invading RAW tonight:

It's probably either nothing or something for their YouTube channel, but interesting nonetheless.

Given Reigns is on MizTV, they should have Reigns take the IC title of Miz.
then have him beat Brock for the Universal title at WM (title vs title).
Make him win everything.

I got back into WWE again during last survivor series but I think I'm about to check out. Can't stand the creative direction.

I think most need a break every now and then. After Fastlane 2015 (I think - the one where Reigns beat Bryan?) I had to stop as I just wasn't enjoying it and only started again when I heard Joe was the #1 contender a couple of months ago. I didn't even know the brands had split when I came back!

I can't sit through a full show as it's just too much, and I don't care about the majority of their storylines, but the stuff that I do have an interest in is easier to watch than it was in '15. It's still not great but I'll always have an interest in wrestling I think. Basically, it shouldn't feel like a chore to watch something in your free time. If it does feel like that for you I'd definitely recommend you check out.

Yes might just back off and read around it to stay in touch then dip back in when there's a storyline that interests me.

Say whatever you will about Enzo, but thats probably the first time in ages ive watched a 205 segment on Raw in ages.

Does that mean neville is face and Enzo is heel? Good switch if true

Seemed like it. Especially as Michael Cole wasn't exactly sad on commentary when he was getting knocked the feck out. I saw on highlights (YouTube) that Braun came out and also slammed Enzo then the whole 205 wrestlers took turns to bust Enzo up. Was this on raw? It was brutal

After Raw. Braun looking at the 205 wrestlers and going 'hes all yours' made me laugh more than it should have.

That was the best bit

That and the knee to the face and Enzo sitting there looking dead.
Nevilles beatdown of him made me think 'yes, damn right'
The Braun one made me laugh.
The rest of them made me feel a little sorry for him haha

It's a fascinatingly shit angle with Nakamura, one with Vince's fingerprints all over it.

Also Aiden English singing the Bulgarian national anthem

That was great, as was "IT'S RUSEV DAY!!!"... and Rusev facials expressions made it even better... hell, Rusev is so feckin' great.

Happy Belated Rusev Day everybody. Hug a handsome man.

I'm really annoyed with WWE creative at the moment, can't stand their direction as I've said earlier but a few things are keeping me in:

KO - love this version of Owens. Hope they take this and run with it, rather than just finish at hell in a cell.

AJ - not doing much at the moment but enjoy watching him wrestle.

Rusev - funny dude. Always makes me laugh.

Shame a Shield reunion is being wasted with a quick build on a team of Miz/Cesaro/Sheamus at a B PPV.

It makes sense they would do it on B ppvs.
The A ppvs will pretty much sell anyway. WWE having a PPV every 2 weeks means they need some sort of a draw.

The quick build does make it feel less important though, Owens vs Shane is the only current feud that feels like it's been building for ages and it's all the better because of it.

Sorry to learn of the death of Lance Russell the legendary Memphis and NWA announcer.
Introduced me to US Rasslin in the late 80's when Flair, Freebirds, Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes and a promising prospect called Mean Mark Callous were on the bill most weeks.
