Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Was expecting this match to be fantastic.
And its somehow even better than I was expecting.

Crowd has been hot which is great too.

Is there tension on commentary? That's two digs JR has taken now.

From who? Watching on a delayed feed.

Edit: Just heard the first one. Little weird maybe, in the sense of JR being the one dishing them out. Perhaps just part of establishing their act for the UK market?

So looking like tag ladder match will be main event.
DIY split? Ciampa turning heel?
hmmm

So whats the deal with the Jinder Mahal push?( Im so far behind I can't bother catching up). Is he actually good?

Takeover was incredible. UK title match was bonkers, Roddy vs the world, good Title match (Hideo's post match "promo" is great stuff) and the main event was a good match with an amazing ending of the show. I got worked on that one lads, sat on my couch full of rage and sadness.

Should lead to an incredibly heated fued. Like it alot.

Their Cruiserweight classic match was lots of fun, and it didnt even have the build or hatred towards it. (nor the time when you think about it)
Really looking forward to what they do.

Shame they wont be DIY in WWE but then again, wounds can be healed :)

Backlash
Pre show
Perfect 10 V English

Orton V Jinder Mahal
AJ Styles
V KO
Harper V Rowen
Usos V Breezeango
Naomi, Charlotte & Lynch V Natalya, Carmella and Tamina (Charlotte to turn heel after)
Nakamura V Ziggler
Corbin V Zayn

Looking forward to AJ vs KO.
And of course Nakamura to see how he does in WWE.

Guess nobody cares about backlash.

That's what happens when you have awful build up and terrible shows week after week. Oh and Jinder in the fecking main event doesn't help either.

To be fair it's likely to be a good show, AJ/KO will probably be amazing, but I don't care enough to stay up when I can catch it tomorrow during the daytime.

Perfect 10 V English only thing that makes sense really though I'm finding it hard to care about either.

Orton V Jinder Mahal has to be him or what was the point. Clean would be great but the Singh brothers will probably be involved. Jinder's promos have been so scripted. I don't know if it's because he's poor on the mic and they're being careful or just the usual WWE douchebaggery. I really thought he'd come out with a viscious promo about colonialism and racism during the London show but it was so meh.

AJ Styles V KO This feud needs to go a while, build up a genuine rivalry. Or Aj wins by disqualification. Either way KO should keep the belt for now.

Harper V Rowen Meh. Why are they feuding again? They're better as a tag team.

Usos V Breezeango Like the Usos as heels but they haven't done a good job developing the SD tag team scene. Not sure when the New Day will arrive but they are badly needed.

Naomi, Charlotte & Lynch V Natalya, Carmella and Tamina: Oh, what a surprise, another let's squeeze as many of the divas into one match situation. This angle feels rushed and the heel faction hasn't been made to look dominant enough. SD really misses Alexa Bliss. Heels should go over, they need it more but honestly, this angle feels like garbage and probably is.

Nakamura V Ziggler: Only thing that makes sense. Hoping the match is as good as everyone hopes. It's been adecent introduction for Nakamura but this feud lacks intensity. It's felt more like Ziggler vs the fans than Ziggler vs Nakamura.

Corbin V Zayn: Corbin needs the win more but I just wish he would go away. he's just not entertaining on the mic or in ring. Zayn is at risk of becoming a bit of a joke in WWE given how his career has been going lately. Needs a title feud or a heel turn in the near future.

Having just caught up on SD, I can see some sort of DQ finish in the Orton/Mahal match to take it to the next PPV.

Starting with this match was the right move.
Nakamura debut match being on a PPV in chicago, was smart too.

It is, always want a PPV to start well, and putting one of the best workers in the world (Ziggler) v one of the best wrestlers in the world (Nakamura) will certainly do that

TBH, if this Nakamura kids shows something over the next year, maybe he can strive to main event like Mahal

This was .... not a good match imo. Ziggler having control of the majority of it took the crowd out of it.
Nakamura struggled against a guy thats been in limbo for a couple of years.

It's great that they have been given some on screen time to enhance their characters.
What does day one ish mean? If anything
