Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Don't know why anyone would want this feud to be written off. It's been great. I know Roman has his problems selling but he sold the hell out of this. The blood spit on the wall is great stuff.

Had to make Roman look strong and get the upper hand in the end.

Just have Strowman destroy the fecker and have done with it.

I really don't get the love for Brock. Sonce he came back his move set is a kimura that he doesn't use any more, and so many damn duplexes, he's like a 2003 Scot Steiner minus the personality.

'Thank you Strowman!'

Vince still gonna pretend Reigns is booked exactly how they want him.

Jericho and Owens had a pretty good match, especially the storytelling with the fingerbreak. I think everyone got worked into thinking this was gonna be the last apperance of Jerico, enjoy it while it lasts mannnnnnn.

Not the best ending ever, but I really enjoyed the Neville-Aries match. I hope they build up another contender for Great Balls of Fire (feck sake) and get Neville-Aries 3 at Summerslam, with Aries finally winning the big one.

Tag match was pretty decent but I felt it took ages and ages. Fractured Matt amuses me, they clearly want to build to him being broken again, but the crowd is so invested in chanting Delete that he can't help but put it out there. I was waiting for the turn afterwards, and I hope it breathes some new life into SheaCaso. Booked got a hard on for that turn for sure.

Woman's match was fine, kept the trend for champs losing in their home town going for sure.

This house of Horrors match will work if they play it on the nose and do like a haunted house set up, which we got. Great Uber driver, just deciding to drive another weirdo back, not knowing what the feck happened. That was exactly what I expected it to be, pre-taped shenanigans ending in the ring later in the show with Jinders cronies getting involved. JINDER IS UNHINDERED! Cheap win for Wyatt, but at least he gets something out of it for his arrival at Raw.

Joe vs Seth was pretty good, and Seth slowly is finding his feet as a face I think. The problem is that we have no idea what exactly his character is now, or have we gotten any real satisfaction where he really establishes regret or remorse for his deeds. I know its asking for a lot in terms of consistency, but he tried to kill Edge for fecks sake. Wonder what's next.

Roman comes out all wrapped up, gets ragdolled for a little bit and loses in a valiant effort. I wonder if they will use this to keep him off the screen for a while and maybe even repackage him a little? Just losing the Shield music and attire would go a long way.

I thought they ruined the Reigns- Strowman stuff, it was quite slapstick before but last night the tone was off. Thought Alexa Bliss winning was the highlight, she deserves it and the chorus of boos from the hometown crowd just added that extra element that the match needed.

Reigns beat Undertaker, Strowman beat Reigns, Kalisto beat Strowman

So Kalisto is the best superstar in WWE?

I totally agree on this. I like Reigns but he needs to get rid of this stupid bulletproof vest and the music. Not just because he needs it but Shield will return one day and you'll want it to be a great moment. If Roman still has that music the moment will be ruined.

I thought they did the right thing with Reigns and Braun last night. I've seen a lot of criticism for Roman for "looking strong" because but he was bandaged so lost because he wasn't 100%. He did just get beaten badly and tipped over in an ambulance. He comes back injured as he should, if he didn't come back wrapped up those same people would be moaning about super Reigns again. Can't win with him. Interested to see if he is off TV, now you can start having Wyyat, Balor, Ambrose, Miz full time and Brock on next PPV so they can rest him.

I was impressed. Overall, it was a great PPV and worth watching. The only part that left me underwhelmed was the first tag team match in the pre-show.

The Women's championship was one of the best matches in the PPV. From the beginning to the end, it was paced well enough to keep me on the edge of my seat.

The House of Horrors match may have looked stupid and tacky, but the hilarity behind all of it actually made it enjoyable enough for me. When the match went into the ring, however, I was expecting the worst, but man, I was totally marked out by Jinder and the Singh brothers!

I felt sorry for Rollins and Joe in their match. The House of Horrors pre-recorded segment really shocked the crowd, which made it tough for them to get into the Rollins-Joe match. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels like this, but this was the match of the PPV for me. The back-and-forth between Joe and Rollins was really exciting, and both did very well to get the crowd back into it. It's sad to see that Raw treated this as a filler for the in-ring match between Bray and Orton, however.

Overall, I'd give this PPV an 8/10. Payback was my last chance to continue watching WWE, and it did enough to convince me to continue on with it.

I love Wyatt but that was a terrible match. Quit literally one of the worst things WWE have ever come up with and it wasn't even for the title ffs. Just flat out awful. At east Wyatt won (even if it was a cheap win).

The House of Horrors match would have been better if it had some horrors inside it, not just an empty house with a few baby dolls. They should have kept the videos they used to fill the ring before for this instead.
Even some people dressed up coming out of the shadows or something.

I'm expecting Matt Hardy to become broken after that beatdown, hopefully not as I am not a fan at all of that whole gimmick they did in TNA.

As much as I like Jericho with him winning the title just means yet another belt not getting regularly defended, unless he loses it soon, maybe Corbin.

Strange to see the title matches on first, but Roman Reigns was always going to headline.

See the event. Overall, it was ok but nothing special, didn't help that it was hardly marketed.

Jericho v KO - decent match and good storytelling, bringing up the finger thing again. Was shocked with the result as I thought Jericho was going on tour and KO was preparing for a feud with AJ. Considering AJ is the number 1 contender, will the feud now be between him and Jericho... Two baby faces?

Austin Aries V Neville - both guys brought it. Good match and ended in a way that it works. AA need to win to keep his credibility in check but the division needs Neville as champ.

Sheamus & Cesaro v Hardy Boys - the friendly lead up to the match didn't help. Was a typical tag match. The heel turn at the end could lead to a few interesting things in the future.

Beyli v Bliss - really good bout and I swear beylee looks hotter during fights than in promos. Was shocked to see bliss win... Wonder how they'll do the Sasha banks heel turn now?

House Of Horrors - I actually didn't mind the pre-recorded part. Yes it felt like a WWE produced B-horror movie scene and yes the house was hardly horrifying but I found it strangely amusing... Until they came to the ring. Bray couldn't even win what was supposed to be his specialty match clean. Makes him look so weak and the feud with Orton and Tinder Mahal seems forced. This was an ok idea executed horribly.

Rollins v Joe - this was a really fun match with two very skilled performers but the lack of any real build up during the recent few raw events didn't help it. Hope they don't keep playing on the damaged knee thing, could easily get boring.

Reigns v Strongman - this played out exactly as I predicted, which is fine. Both men looked good coming out, now hopefully they both move on to new rivalries and revisit this later.

I hope Owens wins back the title on Smackdown this week, Jericho gets a nice send off with a win at a PPV, the face of America is back, everyone's happy.

I absolutely hated the house of horrors match, it wasn't funny at all except maybe tipping a fridge onto Orton. And if there is no humour you are just left with a crappy horror movie without much horror that is filmed in a way that is completely at odds with the rest of the show.

One thing that's been pointed out that it wasn't dark at the time in San Jose, CA but in the house of horrors it was dark.

Bliss is amazing.
What the feck was the house of horrors bs? Would have been funny if they both went back to the ring in the same Limo.

I expected Wyatt to hop out of it and walk past the front only for Orton to pop out from the drivers seat.

Should have had Undertaker driving a limo.

Probably the greatest moment involving a limo in television history.

It was a good PPV in terms of action.
Raw beat SD guys (and SD ended up with one)

Would be funny if they just have titles on people not there.

I didn't care much for the house of horrors match, but I ham happy that they tried it. Maybe it didn't take this time, but some elements or techniques in it can and will be used later. If this helped in changing or updating their product in the long term, I'm happy.

So Alexa Bliss is the best thing on Raw and not just because of the way she looks. She needs some epic wrestling matches to cement it, but character, promo's everything else she is probably the best in WWE.

Yeah, shes one of the better ones on the mic overall. I thought her match with Bellow at the PPV was fantastic. Its the little stuff that she does as a villain.

Was a really good raw. The main event was excellent. The cruiser weight match was also good, like the new TJP. Can't take bray seriously anymore though, man is as weak as a David Moyes team.

TJP should have caught on to the dabbing heel earlier. People hate it.
All he needs to do is ditch that 8-bit titantron and entrance music and go with some disgusting trap to really transform into a proper heel.

I'm a bit late to the party (as I don't watch Nxt) but Bobby Roode's entrance is just ridiculously good. Holy feck:drool:. I just can't get it out of my head.

They have really made an effort to keep Jericho off TV for a while here

"That's Jaywalking!"
"and Jimmy Walking"

Actually made me belly laugh... not often something in wrestling makes me do that.

Breezango are fecking brilliant, they deserve this mini push they're getting at the minute.
