Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

I never really got the hype over CM Punk. He is a good wrestler no doubt but nowhere near the likes of Angle, Jericho and *cough* Benoit from back in the day.

I also find his Mic skills to be a bit dull .... Again this is compared to the likes of Austin and The Rock. To me Punk was very good but just the top of a bad era.

Maybe I'm being harsh....but he also seems like a self absorbed prick. I don't particularly want to see him do well in UFC ( I also don't think he is athletically gifted enough to overcome a relatively short time training)
I was just being diplomatic, I think he's a prick too. He's too far in his own ass.

He's a good wrestler(Top 50 of all time imo), but he's not as good as he thinks he is.

Gonna be watching this tonight and will be like "Wait for it, wait for it....." and nothing is going to happen and he'll actually be retired.

A shame but for the best.

Glad he got his WM30 moment.

Its amazing how the WWE fans never let him go. They put him with Miz and that helped.
He got fired, Sheamus wins title, Nexus destroys a PPV and it goes off air with everybody chanting "Daniel Bryan"
He gets a 18 second title match, and WM (and especially Raw next night) gets taken over with "Yes" and Bryan chants.
They say hes B+ and have Batista win the rumble to face Orton, and shows are hijacked with fans chanting his name to the point WM has to be changed to have him beat Evolution on his own.

Bryan will end up wrestling again on the indies and hurt himself with next few year if true.

Gutted for Daniel Bryan. Hoping this is a work but can see this being for real

Same...

The only reason it could be a work is a) He's apparently been cleared by everyone but the WWE b) He's said numerous times that if WWE won't let him wrestle he'd go elsewhere. C) He wanted to quit WWE...

So bit weird that he would be allowed mic time... Unless he's someone else other than the WWE doctors have told him he shouldn't Wrestle.

Coachman has said on Twitter this isn't a work and Bryan will be joining him at the ESPN show on Tuesday.

Can't post tweets.

He was great in ring..
The "YES" movement got a bit tedious towards the end.. but he was great.
Real shame about his retirement. But its the smart thing to do. Absolutely not worth the risk.

I kinda wish they hadnt shown the backstage meet on the week after show for that. But I did like Bateman but glad hes doing well as EC3.

Better to walk out of that ring tonight than get carried out in a body bag in the future.

Could his wife be preggers?

Not yet, this has seemingly come from another outside doctor giving him in depth scans (rather than the generic tests he'd been having to date) and saying he wasn't comfortable clearing him, something to do with a fear that other parts of his brain are covering the damaged area and masking it apparently, but I'm no neuroscientist.

That being said, Brie randomly appearing in the title picture does make me suspect her retirement is imminent. Wouldn't be the first title shot on the way out. His retirement has only made my suspicion stronger that they're sailing away into the sunset to start a family (maybe with him working as an agent or NXT trainer?)

Would it be too out there to suggest that KO interrupts him tonight, setting up one last match at WM before he really retires? Ties in with what @phelans shorts said above about Brie as well. If they are really desperate for WM starpower, the last DB match would certainly help?
I would love for just one last match at Mania. Owens, Taker, Styles, anyone really. Sadly I don't see it coming.

To soften the blow, we maybe getting Enzo, Big Cass and Carmella debut tonight.

Makes sense, they were on the live show at San Jose the other day and got a huge pop, which was rumoured to be a trial run. It also appears NXT has nothing for them since they lost in London (only one squash match against jobbers up to Takeover Dallas) and it's probably why Carmella got her title match.

Not to mention the tag team division seems to have come very thin quite quickly.
