I used to watch this show when i was a kid, now since i'm bored i'm getting to watch it again. Is it any good? The last time i watched this was like 10 years ago, pretty much stopped watching it since Benoit passed away. I was a huge fan of RVD, he's still around? Is he still a jobber?
 
RVD hasnt been seen for a while. Think he might be a surprise Rumble entrant if they struggle for numbers.

Its not really better than 10 years ago. 10 years ago we had just seen Brocks dominance, but had the rise of Cena, Benoit, Eddie, Edge, RVD, Batista, Orton to the main event.

Also since winning the IC title, Barrett has lost to Sin Cara, Ambrose, Ziggler in non title matches and only beaten Sin Cara in a IC title match. rofl.

Absolutely, I somehow suspect that had more to do with the Rock! Didn't mind him as a dorky backstage interviewer, fecking white at the whole heel commentator thing.

I'd love to talk about good shows but people seem to only want to talk about things they didn't like.

NXT has a belter of a month coming up into the February special, and this weeks show was a good start. Breeze made Itami look a million bucks because he's good enough to adapt to a style more suited to Itami. Bálor and Axel was as good as you get from Axel, who really needs to learn that shouting a lot doesn't garner good heat. Blake and Murphy are a great team well worth the sudden super push and Charlotte sucks both as a wrestler and a character. How someone can walk around saying she's genetically superior to someone who worked their way to the top and be a face is mind boggling.

I think that about covers things.

EDIT: I forgot Bull Dempsey. He's so awful.

Fully agreed on Baron, he has an aura about him, like if you were in a bar and he was in the corner, you'd fancy your chances against anyone if he was on your side (even if he does look like Roger Lloyd Pack).

I realise i'm a long way behind. But one of my pals has got the Network and has leant me his details whilst i'm on nights this weekend.

I caught up on the NXT R-Evolution tonight.

Why is NXT so much better than the main show?! Its incredible. The crowd, the matches. Everything about it.

That Zayn/Neville match was absolutely brilliant. Makes the shite that they peddle out week after week on RAW (This week aside, as I thought it was the best RAW for a long time) even more frustrating.

NXT is run by Triple H, who seems to have a much better grasp on how to create and expand a wrestling show.

Not quite right…

Rock posted a picture of himself in Philly on Instagram saying he had to catch up while in the neighbourhood. We don't know when the picture was actually taken however. It's possible he is actually there and will be involved, but unlikely IMO

so the build to the one who beats the one in twenty one and one end with THE ROCK? That would be horrible and make it all so pointless.

Why would you do that and not make a new star? Wrestlemania draws a tonne of people in on its own, Rock vs Brock isn't necessary, especially in the Network era.

So yes. They would.

Rusev elliminating Rock then Rock putting over Rusev at WM would make him legitimate however. Especially because Rusev doesn't have an A list win yet and has been booked pretty poorly with a lot of DQ's and countouts
 
Avoiding all potential spoilers this year because I want the full shock reaction. Am really keen for the PPV despite the results probably being a bit obvious.

I'd disagree with that, I think both of the main matches could easily go either way. Either of the three in the title match walking out with the title wouldn't surprise me (surely they'll do the sensible thing and keep it on Lesnar though). The Rumble could be either of Reigns or Bryan. Really looking forward to this one.
