Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

I made some calls. I couldn't have Paige being upset over her friend so I pulled some strings - even if her friend is a shitty dancer.

Please, the biggest news was the Smackdown spoiler where Roman Reigns and Ambrose were in the ring together at the same time. I'm not ready to give up on the shield

That explains Ambrose's back hurting then, not easy carrying a big Samoan.

This still has me emotional guys. What an inspiring, Botivational human being

It's inevitable that the shield will reunite. I don't think any of them are ready for a singles run. The break up came from nowhere. There should have been a build up like the tension between HBK and Jannety before the Rockers split. Or the Mega powers. Or Evolution. How does Rollins go from kicking Evolution's ass to joining The Authority in 24hrs. I'd have preferred if HHH had planted seeds for the breakup.

You mean like the time Ambrose disappeared mid match?

Or the time that Seth walked out on them mid match?

Or the 9 months or so of visibly building tensions?

This was far from out of the blue, it was overly played out if anything.

As for the other point, there's only Roman who hasn't been killing it on a solo run so far, and the other two I can't see letting it slip. There's only Roman who isn't ready.

They're rushing Reigns IMO. They're trying to Cena-fie him.

Ambrose and Rollins had successful careers in the indies. This is Reigns first real attempt at going solo.

They should have made Reigns be the one to turn heel and allow The Authority/Heyman be his mouthpiece. They just seem desperate to make him a face, I just fear they'll ruin him.

The one thing I've liked the look of since I started looking in on wrestling again over the last couple of months was the shield. And they are split up

Apart from that, I like the entrance of the wyatt family. Although it's clear there is only one man in that stable who will do anything good eventually.

they teased the tension a few times but by the time of the break up they were getting along fine. There should at least have hinted a lingering resentment and maybe mindgames by Steph and Hunter.

They are going too fast with Reigns, but they also went too fast with Brock. With Rock. With Cena. It's the principle, sink or swim. If you're gonna be the guy you have to swim.

I disagree on Roman as a heel, his bag of tricks is very limited and very high impact, which makes it very crowd pleasing. It's not something you can just run as a heel for a prolonged period.

Seth has said in promos multiple times how it was his creation and he wanted to get out while he still had control as the other two were too unstable for it to last.

They've covered every base as far as I'm concerned.

Rowan?

Is that the guy with the sheep mask?

Well no, it's the guy who says "we're here"
Ye, thats sheepy. Harper will have a solid career, but I don't think they ever intended for anyone but Bray to be the guy.

I've said a few times before that I can't wait for a few years down the line for a Shield reunion. They'd get a massive pop coming out to that music together. It'd have to be ages though once (if) they all get established apart from each other.

I've said the same about the Wyatt's (although Rowan getting established is a long shot compared to Harper and Bray for me, but even if he didn't), it'd be huge for something to be going on and that creepy shit happens and everything goes black and they come out.

They've both got huge potential for reuniting years down the line, regardless of how everything goes singles wise.

Harper is a pretty accomplished wrestler. I'd love to see him given 20 minutes at PPV's against the likes of Bryan, Rollins and Cesaro.

I think Harper is the best pure wrestler of the trio to be honest. He can pretty much do anything and can work a crowd well.

I'll give you the other two but they didn't push the Rock fast. IIRC they tried to bury him at one point.

Also disagree about Reigns not being able to play a heel. No one would have seen him being the one to turn. He's more intimidating as the silent henchmen. He would have got serious heat for turning on the Shield, more so than Rollins.

I think he'll make a decent face, and probably win the title in the not too distant future, but I can see his character getting stale quick. I just hope they don't ruin him, because I really like him.

At least he can retire on his own accord in a way (as in hes not in a wheelchair, if that makes sense).

Given what has been said, he will still be part of WWE. He will probably get better benefits / insurance now that he will no longer be in a wrestling role.

Always liked him when he was a funny heel. Think he lost a lot of humour when he became a face, but always liked him.

I can see him becoming a comedy manager with lots of Backstage segments with him and an up and coming talent doing Rocky balboa/Mickey style training segments and the like.

Jesus, some amount of shite on the Network. Have had it on in the background for the last while. Just spent ten minutes listening to William Regal discussing his reptiles...

Santino was one of the least entertaining, least funny characters ever created on television.

Reigns was much, much better on the mic in the opening segment.

The Usos vs. Rowan and Harper is predictable.

The Rotunda brothers were by far the highlights of the show again. Shame their dad was made to look like a geek or it would have been one hell of a night for them.

Also, I'm all for Finlay coming out and KO'ing Roman with his Shillelagh at Battleground. Fit >>> Roman.

Most shows don't last an hour, just like any tv station. You need ten minute filler sections between two shows. It's either that or ten minutes of dead air, at least Regal and his love of reptiles is interesting.

Highlight of the show...
