Weren't they all in their 20's when hired? Victoria late 20's to be fair. They've been working hard with years to whittle down the average ages of the women though.

But they now seem to be taking the women's division a bit more seriously. Mickie is someone with star power (for a diva, anyway) who could give someone else some rub and build them up some. They always take on older male wrestlers as enhancement talents, why not do the same with the women?

Rehired Sable at like 35.....it's feasible. Debra wasn't far off 40 when she started as well. Both had vaguely special circumstances I guess, but a Mickie return isn't totally out of the question.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not against the idea, I'd bloody well love it. I just can't see it happening.

What were the circumstances that saw her last WWE release? can you remember?

I remember her debut, as the crazy chick that stalked Trish, the two went on to have a brilliant feud. I can see something similar with AJ, only perhaps as AJ is quite isolated at the moment, perhaps she could come in as a partner/friend to AJ? and then a feud could eventually develop from there.

Mr Anderson has also been released, I always rated him as a wrestler, it would be nice if he got another shot at the big time, but I think he had a couple of Wellness policy strikes before leaving.

Bit hazy, the official view was the usual "new direction" bollocks. I remember a lot of stories about her and Cena, they fecked, or she wanted him and was trying to break up his marriage, or some junk. Didn't it lead to Batista sticking printed out pics of her porn all over the locker rooms?

I honestly can't remember, I think i was having a dirt sheet hiatus at the time, They were seriously anti-Vince/WWE for a good couple of years and every article seemed poisoned.

On a side note, those pics of her porn days

Yeah, I'd take all dirt sheet stuff with a healthy dose of salt, tbf. There was a load of it about. Even more recently, when Cena was getting divorced, wasn't Dykstra all over the media about it, who was Mickie's fiancee at the time?

Agreed with the  good stuff.....

I know that Cena couldn't keep it in his pants!

FYI i am re-watching all the rumble matches on youtube, great memories and a great way to pass my night shifts, I'm up to 2002, I can't remmber what year it was but Kane and Taker were engaged in a feud that saw Taker disappear for a few months and during the rumble match his music randomly hit and Kane was eliminated. JR said and i quote "Kane was distracted by his brothers Dong"

Wonder what the creative plans for the Shield are. Surely they'll have to split them up at some point so that they can move on to be main eventers, challenging for the two major titles etc. Maybe they'll choose an Evolution-style bust up with one of the three turning face and going against the other two.

There will be a face turn in their somewhere, It will probably be reigns, as Ambrose has the potential to be the best heel in the world.

I don't think that there is any rush though, post wrestlemania perhaps we will see the Shield turn on the McMahons?

Agree with that, its an easy sell to get him over, The Shield turn on him, and he calls in his cousin The Rock to back him up. Instant rub for all 3 members

So apparently the early creative plans for next year's Wrestlemania are revolving around The Rock and his decision whether or not to work the event. If he accepts, he'll fight Lesnar and if he doesn't, Lesnar is likely to face The Undertaker. Here's the funny part though - if The Rock fights Lesnar next year, the creative plans are for The Undertaker to face Ryback and apparently the more likely outcome is Ryback ending the streak.

I think they're seriously considering ending it though... and obviously they want a powerhouse to do it. I'm not sure about Ryback but The Undertaker defeating Lesnar in his current condition seems a bit ridiculous.

I think the crowd would shit all over that. They're not going to get behind a match with two part time guys who probably won't even be on the following Raw.

you're spot on with that. I don't remember Wrestlemania 2004 very well but I don't think the crowd was positive towards the Lesnar - Goldberg match. Maybe someone could refresh my memory but I think they both left afterwards.

It makes sense thinking about it. As much as people hate Ryback, Vince fecking loves him. Thinks he's the next Cena. Why have a part timer end it? It will be a younger star who is going to be around for a while, and as much as we might not want that to be Ryback, Vince loves Ryback.

News had broken that they were both leaving the company and they got serious heat from the crowd because of this.

IIRC, they were tore asunder by the crowd, at the Garden too...

Seeing how over Bryan is, WWE can now turn Cena heel (once he comes back), no more excuses to hide behind. If he hadnt had already had so many title reigns, him returning and becoming the "face of the company" as a heel, could work well.

Joining HHH and co because he thinks he can't beat Bryan legit, would work wonders for both.

The kids adore him. That is the only reason they won't turn him heel.

I've just read something about Ryback potentially ending the streak, I'm going to pretend I didn't see it......

That would be the most awesome way to do it. It'd be the new Power Trip.

feck it, do it anyway.
