To quote Austin, he reckons he can go for another run if the right opportunity came along from a business sense...He's healed up according to him and feels better then ever. But he won't come back. Austin wants nothing to do with the current product. I don't blame him

Like to know where you got the quote from?

Everything I have watched and read since 2003 basically says he can't wrestle again because the severity of the neck injury. I remember Edge especially saying he had the same injury Austin had and that they were both told they would be risking paralysis if they had a match. Edge said Austin had helped him through his unexpected retirement.

I'm pretty sure Austin would have had a match by now, especially with Hogan, if it was not for his injuries. The pay off would have been a lot higher than his straight to DVD film career.

Thinking about it I can't remember him taking a single move since his retirement match with the Rock and he's been on raw plenty of times and had a big angle with Bischoff for GM which closed in Survivor Series 2003 where he gave out plenty of punishment but I can't remember him taking one impactful move. That angle was used to get Orton and Batista over and I'm sure he would have taken an RKO or a Batista Bomb/Spinebuster if he was capable.

Youtube any Austin interview from the last two years and you'll hear him say it

Apparently Undertaker is disemboweling CM Punk this evening...

Heyman's impersonation of Bearer was great, actually made me laugh.

Two things missing from the Wrestlemania card on Wikipedia: 1) A Cesaro match and 2) That massive jobber-filled battle royal they usually have. I like battle royals :(

Pre show?

Wikipedia reckons Barrett/Miz is the pre-show match.

Then again, they could have a couple with it being Wrestlemania.

I have been watching this again, only because my sons are watching it.
Not lost any of its chesse, Rock is still coming out with the same old stuff and this Fan-Dan goooo is a bit of a muppet.
The Rock's promos these days are infinitely shitter than they used to be. Then again, his character really isn't the same either, he goes for a more 'global entertainer' angle while trying to cram in the same lines that made him big in the Attitude Era. For me it doesn't really work, his stories are fairly boring and I end up skipping through most of it.

The time I used to watch was the Stone Cold time, when he would come out with a 6 pack and beat on Vince, also Jack the Snake, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Mankind / Dude Love.

You may get both, jobber battle royal with the winner facing Cesaro. Pre show is an hour so there's plenty of time.

Made me laugh too  Punk vs. Undertaker will steal the show on Sunday.

Jericho vs Fandango will steal the show. Nailed on.

Fandango was the highlight of Raw judging Jericho's moves. I'm a massive fan of his. Quality heel stuff.

Shield vs. Orton/Sheamus/Show will steal the show.

That's just crying out to be turned into one of those meme images where everybody's face is replaced by the Indian guy's, just to the right of Rollins.

Good promos from Cena/Punk, decent from HHH/Lesnar/HBK/Heyman and the Shield, Rock was garbage again, throwing in his catchphrases, repeating himself, here's an example "John this Sunday at Wrestlemania, I said John this Sunday at Wrestlemania".

How many times did Cena say "Big One" on this weeks raw? Rock-Cena is so bad. Maybe because yeah, it's just bad now. Punk saves WWE. Put him over the Taker already. But I feel Rock will be the "upset" winner of the main events, and Cena redeems himself by beating the Taker or something. Though that means another year of face Cena.......or maybe not.

the Taker

 He got fecking booed in DC of all places as well as "Boring" chants.

That's because a lot of crowds nowadays can be right shit. I remember the time a moronic crowd started chanting boring during Regal/Finley, two guys who were actually putting on a bloody good technical match. In fairness, not as annoying as the cnuts who still chant "WHAT?".

Saved me energy.

Microsoft has launched a new WWE app on Xbox Live that allows users to watch WrestleMania and other major events online.

The service is not free - fans will need to have an Xbox Live Gold membership before they can purchase a WWE pay-per-view event. For now, the app is only available to US customers.

Xbox fans have been given the app (which is free to download) ahead of the WrestleMania XXIX event, which takes place on Sunday April 7.

------

If they made it available here and let you download events the day after I'd probably use it

If the Tag Title match goes on first, I expect Ziggles to cash in later on in the night.

I reckon there's a setup for a Randy Orton/Sheamus feud which would be great to see. It's been teased in the past.

As much as I hope Lesnar beats Triple H so that he can actually continue his legitimacy angle, I expect Triple H to get his revenge.

If anyone should end the streak it should be Punk, but after the go-home RAW I can't see that happening.

Thoughts?

Will be interesting to see how long they can trick people into thinking CM Punk actually has a chance. I'm guessing about two or three last gasp kick outs from the Undertaker before he delivers the pile driver that puts and end to it. Probably just after CM Punk tries to hit him in the face with the urn but misses.

Also, the Cena/Rock build up was a million times better last time around. I don't think a lot of people are really bothered at this point in time.
