There's got to be a big turn tonight from someone doesn't there?

That was an epic mania, and I have to say I was wrong about Cody, I’m a convert to full fledged Cody cry baby. The hhh eta is going to kick ass.

Brilliant Mania. Curious to see what direction they take.

Drew Punk should be amazing.

This is the most I’ve enjoyed wrestling for a long time. Fantastic Mania, and the perfect way for Cody to finish his story. Roman peaked tonight, that’s how you drop a belt. One for the ages.

I generally like long drawn-out segments.

But that was a bit too long and drawn-out even for me. Still, very interested in the eventual Rock/Cody program all the same

I'm trying to remember who it was that disputed that WWE is the hottest it's been in a long long time (maybe since attitude Era) and those who can't admit WWE have done a fantastic job building guys

I saw a theory that it’s a bead from Romans tribal chief beads
Saw that too, it’s a brilliant idea! Which would be why Cody broke his heart as he had to put down the tribal chief or something.

They could reveal it on the Raw before their match, would be some absolutely expert storytelling.

That post mania raw wasn’t great. The one big takeaway was that Rock is coming back to face Rhodes somewhere down the line

Has there been any talk about when that’ll be?

The ad free first hour ruined the rest of the show. Main event has about 3 ad breaks and lasted a mere 10-15 mins and the finish felt super rushed due to time constraints. At one point there was 90 seconds between ad breaks. Makes it really tough to watch it live.

Have thought about this a lot these past few weeks and have a little chuckle to myself everytime.

Its the insistence of opinion as fact. Even if i didnt like the product right now, thats ok, but every metric available with the sell out shows, the merch, the reactions, the mainstream stuff, its all coming together. That you cant deny.

But WM pacing as a whole was awesome. Especially night 2. Night 2 seemed perfect. Night 1, i think the main issue was the Uso brothers match. The video package was great, but the match itself was horrible (they made up for it with the moment on night 2). If that match was really good, I think night 1 would have seemed better.

WWE have got quite a few big matches theyve already planted seeds for and got in place:
Drew v Priest
Drew v Punk
Sethv Punk
Seth V Roman
Roman V Rock
Rock v Cody
Drews moment for Glasgow
Sami v Drew (hopefully Sami loses the IC title but wins MITB in Toronto)
And all these international PLEs coming

Lot of big matches they can do on the women’s side too, Liv v Rhea, Jade v Bianca and I guess ultimately Jade v Rhea

Oh for sure, and great point.
Interested also to see who they set up for the King of the ring winners.
I could see LA knight dethroning Logan Paul too.

I always figured the'd try get to Rock vs., Roman next Mania - but honestly this Cody/Rock feud feels hot enough for a Mania should they want to wait until then.

Though I don't think Rock will want to wait a year before getting in the ring agian, so maybe Summerslam?

I predict SummerSlam for Cody and Roman at Mania. I could see Roman costing The Rock at SummerSlam to setup their feud. Although I'd rather Rock stay heel, there is no way he is being booed when he fights Roman.

This opening segment is so long, a whole third of the show, at least, just with Cody.
Loved it, he deserves it.

Something really really sinister with the rock last night that I enjoyed. At first I thought he gave Cody a literal receipt with his name on it, now I reckon it's one of the beads off Romans ula fala.

He emphasized giving Cody his flowers quite a bit, and that might be what he meant by break his heart.

Im still in awe of how great this run by the Rock has been. Fantastic promos, brilliant social media stuff, great music and aura, and then to top it off, that match on Night 1 where he looked in his prime, then a great moment for Night 2.

Best seller of all time, unsurprising given he is an actual actor. Love how he reacted to the gong and the chokeslam.

Undertaker needed to come out as deadman. Other than that it was class.

Wonder why Rikishi has never been involved in the bloodline story. If he came out it would be interesting which side he takes as he’s usually a baby face. Maybe he’d take Jey’s side. Although he was the man who ran down Austin.

Rumour I read was that it was supposed to be Austin coming out instead but his wife was unwell and couldn’t travel so he pulled out of the event at the last minute. Taker was already there to sub in, but didn’t have his ring gear. It was such a great moment regardless, the place erupted when the gong hit. From watching it on TV it sounded like the biggest pop of the night.

I actually thought Hogan might show up but I guess he's still too toxic even if he was featured in promoting the royal rumble and video game.

Seen some video on social media of Taker jogging to and from the ring when the lights went down, it’s kind of hilarious. I dunno if it’s just because the arena isn’t as dark in reality as it appears on TV, or that modern phone cameras work a lot better in dark conditions these days, but seeing that did kind of ruin the illusion

Same here. I thought it would be a safe, family friendly return to boost his brand with a disappointing match at the end of it.

It's been anything but that. A brand new gimmick that he has been practically x-rated with and it ended with a brilliant match and outstanding angle, as you said.

And he's not done yet.

I saw a video of Roman Reigns taking a shit and now it's hard to acknowledge him as my tribal chief.
