Summing up that show.

The Good:

Alexa Bliss is very good and did a great job in a shit role. Orton sold the shit out of complete nonsense.

The Bad:

Literally everything else.


Abysmal show. I am really struggling to find any reason to bother with Mania. That was so bad.

His job was a mainstream NBA reporter? There's a tweet by Melltzer himself saying he was praised by Deford. Nowhere there have you shown me Meltzer working in an capacity as a proper journalist covering the NBA.

The other thing is that we have already sent Wyatt Vs Orton. I'm not sure why we'd be more into seeing them at Mania than we were prior to their last match.

Daniel Bryan is going to be inserted into the Reigns Vs Edge main event to take the pinfall.

I'm with you, overall. This road to WrestleMania has been very underwhelming. It doesn't feel like WrestleMania season.
 
Watched the first four matches of fast lane. Basically the reason I stopped watching raw and only watch Roman / bryan segments on smack down.

Hopefully final Four matches are good

Edit: onto the main event, only match left. So far only liked one match and it was Drew/Sheamus. Rest have been average, to bad.
Also im sure many would like to be pinned by Alexa in that manner.

It's sad that Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan have to share a card with him...

Anyway pretty bad PPV but Drew vs. Sheamus was very good as was Bryan vs. Reigns with the latter being the highlight of the show... really looking forward to that triple threat at Mania now.
 
They've only announced four Wrestlemania matches, and it's in 20 days.

Can't wait for that three hour New Day vs. AJ Styles & Omos Ironman match.

There's going to be a crowd for Mania, right? You'd think they'd be hyped for it. I can't remember a worse build up for Mania.

It's over two nights, so they'll probably rewrite and make matches on the Saturday.
 
AEW should have a megastar on their hands with Andrade.

I think the temptation would be to get Zelina in to manage him, but I think that might run the risk of coming off a bit WWE - lite? (though she's undoubtedly great at what she does)... Either way, there's no way he should be going the Miro route.

The Roman Bryan match was great especially the ending with the sly tap before the edge attack

Bryan getting involved is brilliant and I hope he wins too.

I genuinely think Edge is going heel, not because of the chair shots but because of his little rant about it being his time etc.
 
I think Edge went heel because of the chances of Roman getting cheered at Wrestlemania. D bry should stop it happening

He stopped being interesting after his feud with Cena at WM30.

Cult Leader Bray was fine, Spooky Wizard was bad and The Fiend is just stupid.
 
Edge is better as a heel
Roman is badass and will get cheers away from the thunderdome controlled setting

Fiend was interesting until the feud with Rollins. It ruined them both
 
I think lack of fans in the build up can hurt too. Last years at least had it at the Rumble (cant remember if it had fans at the next PPV, probably did as most countries only took this seriously around march time).

WM looks like it might have a few decent matches as well. But yeah, the build this year has been atrocious. If they are adding Bryan, its annoying they havent made him look like a machine since December at least.

I still dont understand why they had Mcintyre lose to Orton, only to win it back a few weeks later. And its a shame it was MIz that took the title away from Mcintyre, they could have had Lashley win a multiman match to win the title, and then Mcintyre gets his one on one rematch. But overall the two have been booked so strong along with Reigns.

Completely agree. It normally speeds up around January onwards and explodes with Mania. It almost seems to have been in reverse this time around. I think it's been progressively more boring since the new year.
 
Wrestlemania build has been pretty shit. I do love Wrestlemania weekend but some of it's been piss poor in the build up. Still should be a few good matches (Reigns/Edge/Bryan, Sasha/Bianca, Asuka/Rhea etc).

On the opposite end the build to Takeover has been awesome as always. Should be an awesome two nights. Hard to believe it's the same company producing both NXT and the main roster products at times.
 
I don't think there is any doubt that Taker will be the final entry this year. Unless they wanna leave it a year to have fans allowed into the event

Kane was always going in just a matter of when.

The outrage on the internet over Khali going in is ridiculous. Huge part of how the WWE is so massive in India, and some really memorable storylines. Probably the same bunch of smarks who agree with Dave “Indians are worthless” Meltzer.
