Loves me some Ryback, don't know why, but I enjoy him.

I like Ryback. WWE needs more threatening imposing wrestlers. I like that he isn't picking up 10 stone weaklings anymore but is actually going through the roster. Interesting to see him at the end of RAW staring at Punk. He's obviously not going to have the WWE championship so soon, but I wonder if they'll do anything there.

Judging by the way they buried The Miz, Ryback will probably win every championship and merge them all together to be the Undisputed Champion of Everything Ever.

I've yet to watch Ryback wrestle a decent length match with a single ounce of in ring psychology. Even if he makes Vinces cock wet he shouldn't be anywhere near a main event match or story line.

Most of the WWE audience don't watch to rate their in ring technical ability but just to be entertained. Watching Miz get buried is always entertaining.

If he can't put on a 40 minute match worthy of ending a PPV he shouldn't be anywhere near the WWE championship. Weather or not most of the audience cares doesn't make much of a difference.

He isn't near the championship, but I wouldn't mind seeing him pick up the IC for example. Get Miz/Del Rio back in contention for the WWE, Cena/Punk is boring now. Punk said it himself, although scripted 'how many title shots does John Cena need' let someone else have a shot.

Del Rio needs to spend as much time off my TV as possible. He's an absolute bore in every way. Seeing Miz in title contention would be good. The tag team division is hotting up, although these new mashed together tag teams are causing more stir than the previously established ones.

ADR is extremely boring. He's had the same "destiny" persona since he started, and all he is now is cannon fodder for Sheamus. He could do with trying something new.

I agree he could do with something new, but the WWE championship needs more contenders. Punk/Cena is boring and Miz would be good to introduce back, but I think more than 2/3 people should be battling for each belt. What's the point in determining a number one contender when there's only one other person in contention for the belt anyway. Have 4/5/6 stars fighting out for that title shot.

Watching Smackdown there, I seriously just love Ryback matches. feck knows why like.

I wonder if they're setting up a Ryback/Lesnar fued with Ryback staring out Punk at the end of RAW. I can't see why he'd be doing that for no reason whatsoever, and he's obviously not going to be in contention for the WWE title yet so maybe with Punk being close to Heyman, we may see Lesnar as an 'enforcer' type attacking Ryback backstage on behalf of Punk or something setting up something to keep him busy til WM.

Lesnar vs Goldberg part II

That's what I thought. It's going to be hard for Ryback, he'll never shake off the Goldberg chants.
They've died down a bit since his 'Feed Me More!' chant has taken off much more. Having dismantled Miz, I thought he'd be in line for a title shot but it looks as though they're just having him go through the whole roster. It took him a couple of efforts to get Tensai up though!

Yeah I'm sure he'll get an IC shot soon, but I was just wondering the relevance to staring Punk out at the end of RAW. He's not close to the WWE title yet so wondering what that was all about. Wondering if they'll spin a 'Ryback wants the title, but Punk gets worried and asks Heyman to have Brock attack him' etc.

Vince loves him.
Vince overrules creative regularly.
Vince can be crazy.

Don't rule it out.

A question for all you wrestlefags. There's another guy coming from WWE into MMA, he's called Batista. Was he a big star in WWE? Was reading his wikipedia page he's pretty old so feck knows how he'll do.

He's fecking shit, he got beaten up by Booker T backstage once, he won't be up to much in MMA. Was dreadful in the ring, very slow and stiff, had little charisma and he had some weird veiny shit on his arm. He left cos he couldn't accept that Cena and Orton were better and more marketable than him. Since he's left he's been very bitter too. Nothing more than a glorified bouncer.

Cheers, just watched some videos of him training for MMA and he looks terrible. He's fighting a much smaller guy who hasn't had any professional mma bouts either so who knows, his size might carry him through for this one but he doesn't seem anywhere near the athletic beast that Lesnar was.

To be fair to Batista, he did have a run of being a great asshole heel. Probably because he wasn't acting.

Oh noes, The Ryback couldn't lift Tensai. Vince will not be happy.

Might have been imagining things, but the set up for it looked really awkward.

Not sure Albert didn't deadweight him a bit there. Be interesting to see if that has any repercussions for him.

I don't actually agree with this assessment of Batista as a pro wrestler. His last run, and the program with Cena, was pretty great, both from a heat and an in-ring perspective, and neither are my favorite workers, so they really did get the best out of each other.

Not at all sure how he'll do in MMA, though. I don't think he's the sort of physical freak Lesnar is.

His opponent has gotten arrested for violating parole a week before the fight so Batista's getting somebody a tad more experienced, just a tad. However his opponent (Lucero) went on a 9 fight losing streak at one point, and probably hasn't had a full camp to prepare. I actually predict Batista to win if he's actually serious about training

Had a look at the match on Smackdown there, and the leg that Ryback hooks was much more raised on Smackdown, looked like Albert was making things tricky.

Definately. Albert was sandbagging for sure.

So yeah, I'm eh... Interviewing Chris Jericho in the very near future!

Holy Jaysus!

As Fozzy unfortunately. But I'm sure I can throw in a question or two about other things
