At least have actual wrestling matches than the show of absolute turd they were. KO is too good to go out like that. Corbin vs Balor should have also been a match instead of that 5 minutes if that all Balor. Why have Bliss go out like that with out any offence. At least have Ronda overcome some sort of shenanigans to win so she has some credit. As it is she just pissed all over the woman’s division they’ve tried so hard to build. Was hoping Nia would come in or something turning heal again.
Then the worst travesty of all, whole thing was almost saved by Braun marching down, I was hyped, I was thinking yes they are going to play him strong, he cashes in here and it becomes a triple threat. Then he is like nah i’ll Take the winner tho. Killed my buzz instantly. Then saw Roman unleash all his rubbish moves in quick succession thinking oh ok another squash match then Roman and Braun have a proper match, even that was destroyed, biggest pile of garbage ever.
Hopefully Braun cashes in tonight and takes that off of Roman or the Shield get back together and they go after the tag titles to complete the whole set.
Supposedly Bliss vs Trish at Evolutionbut Surely now a match with Ronda and Trish makes more sense unless they do her vs Charlotte then, if Charlotte retains her title match in the inevitable Hell in a Cell match vs Becky in September.

Just finished Summerslam....what the hell was that.
It’s getting worse, I was already unsubscribed from the network since Mania but thought this could be a good show, damn it’s awful.

Horribly booked / worked matches between Rousey/Bliss, Lesnar/Reigns and a few others finishedbl the PPV on a mega low.
You know how badly done the entire Reigns and Lesnar thing was done when they need to have the MitB Contract holder stand outside of the ring the whole match to ensure people don't leave or continually boo.
Highlight was Rollins vs. Ziggler again. Other glimpses of good stuff were Demon Balor, Becky's heel turn, and some of the Bryan/Miz match. The rest was just turd. Lots of short matches.

I haven't watched in months, they've made the exciting new talents fizzle out, Brock's reign of terror has been worse than Triple H's in the early 2000s, the constant Roman push which nobody wants and the lack of interesting talent except from a few.

They didn't balls it up. Joe made it too personal by saying stuff to AJ's daughter, AJ snapped and attacked him with a weapon. Joe's going to demand a rematch (with gimmick) because he's pissed that he lost the title match (well, technically he won, but he isn't champion, so...lost), and AJ will probably accept because he wants to beat Joe some more.
The start of the match was the bad part, tbh. This dude has been reading out letters "from" your wife, making it all kinds of personal, and you're going to lock-up with him? What?

You can't book the match as a DQ and frustrate fans. It's Summerslam and the WWE title. If it was a standard match or a lower title or another PPV then fine. But Summerslam and the most prestigious title of them all is no event/match to cop out on.
How is it frustrating fans? It's building to the next match. It's AJ vs. Joe, it's never going to be one and done. Being at Summerslam makes no difference, there's probably been plenty of matches at Summerslams in the past that have had storyline finishes in order to build to something else. Like Orton cashing in the MITB on Bryan that one year - that match lasted seconds, but it built to a future Bryan/Orton match. Not every storyline has to end at a big PPV.
If memory serves the main title has never been abandoned from a DQ on the big 4. Title changes and dirty finishes are another matter because the matches were never technically abandoned.
Summerslam is not a springboard to build rivalries to other events. Royal Rumble, Survivor Series Summerslam, Wrestlemania. That's always known to be "The big 4", where story's broadly come to an end or great matches get concluded one way or another.
They could have made one win dirty and kept face on the title itself. But the DQ finish on the most prestigious title of them all is an absolute piss take.
