I think it being Mark might have helped, as in being a guy you don't really associate with amazing promos (he's usually good at them, but not to this level). It's just so believable though, the voice breaking, the tears, the unscripted response to a fan chant. I was 100% sold on it being a legitimate retirement.
His Hall of Pain/WHC run was great as well. Also he once shouted "I'll eat your face off" at somebody in the crowd, so obviously he's amazing.
I really enjoyed the Ultimate Deletion - Was completely bonkers and as good as what was served up in TNA, which people thought WWE wouldn't be able to re-create. Hardy on the lawnmower, Senor Benjamin under the boat, the hide and seek bit - All absolutely mental. Loved it. Not sure where they go with it from here though..

I very rarely watch WWE nowadays,only RR and WM. But I remember watching that promo and being 100% sold that he was retiring, great acting and fully deserved to be in HOF.
Glad Hardy has full on rights to the Broken stuff. Needed the compound and the characters to make it legit. Wanna see where WWE go with this as they were just stuck in a holding place with him and Bray laughing at each other at one point.

If Braun was still heel, I could actually see them doing the Cody Rhodes thing with him. When Cody & Hardcore Holly were due to face Ted DiBiase & a mystery partner for the titles, and Cody ended up being DiBiase's partner, and effectively defeated himself for one of the titles.
(It's also an example of one person defending the tag titles, so WWE could point to it if people complained about Braun potentially challenging for them on his own).

I think Sky tend to do updates to your sky box (everyone's, I mean) on a Monday night.
Liked the ultimate deletion but still prefered the TNA one, it just felt more epic. Still it was really weird and different which is what it needed to be.

I remember seeing the rise of Bryan, the hijacking of Reigns and anyone else who WWE tried to push over him. I saw the BS 18 second match against Shaemus then the rise to legend status.

I'm sure I read something a couple of days back that he was approached about doing a tag match where he wouldn't really do anything, certainly not take any big bumps. I remain sceptical to what they will allow him to do but it's hard not to get excited, especially at the thought of a possible AJ/Bryan or Bryan/Nakamura match.
Last genuine big babyface they had who was loved by everyone, kids, adults, smarks. Capable of doing funny segments as well as putting on amazing matches and was one of the best wrestlers of the past 15 years.

Don't get why hes so popular, very good in ring, but has never done it for me character wise.
I hate to be that guy, but how can he be cleared? Do concussions fade over time? What's changed from when they retired him?

Maybe he just got a bad/wrong diagnosis first time around. Having 3 neurosurgeons/neurologists clear him now surely indicates that he's totally good to go.
