When is the final of the mixed match challenge thing as it seems that they count tag matches as part of Asuka’s streak so surely the Miz and her then win that tournament, unless her streak goes before it’s final. Be funny if they dropped it in one of those matches on Facebook.

It has to be something silly right or just an unclean win by Bliss at Mania. However I think she’ll beat Bliss, clear out the division except for 1 woman then eventually lose it to Ronda.

Can Carmella cash in against any champion?

There is the draft to consider also I suppose.
 
Rumours today that Wrestlemania is going to be 7 hours long with the preshow.
 
With all the talk of Rousey vs Flair main eventing Wrestlemania 35, I was wondering whether it would be better for WWE to just introduce female only PPV’s?

They could expand their female rosters and then have 6 or so PPV’s a year of their own.

Cripes that is way too long. Could you imagine taking a young kid to that. They’d be better to split it over two days or something.

Quite like the idea of a woman’s only pay per view, was it yourself that mentioned it? They would need to bulk up the roster as there are very few who could hold down a pay per view in the woman’s division and with the amount of matches you would need.

Yes mate it was me that said it. Like you said, they’d definately need to bulk the roster up to make it work though.

Their own weekly show would help flesh out more fueds too. Ditch either the Raw or Smackdownn title, create an IC style mid card championship and have a women’s tag team title too.

Let them have their own ppv’s but also have the female champions defend at the big events like Wrestlemania, Sumerslam etc.
 
I saw something about it being their first time there in 10 years, so it's probably just a way of making the Saudi audience feel special. I doubt it'll have any impact on TV storylines at all.
 
Women's division continues to surprise me. I thought Nia Jax vs. Asuka II was brilliant on Raw, such a good story of a match that we don't often see with the men as much these days. Might just be because this 'women's revolution' is still quite fresh in the grand scheme of things, but it definitely feels more old school than anything else on offer. It's really, really good stuff but I don't think the women are ready for their own show with multiple titles. Unfortunately, I think that would send it into decline. If they continue to build on the level they have, however, then more titles may have to come. It's hard to keep multiple wrestlers involved when there's only one goal for most of the year. It's also hard to see past Alexa/Asuka/Nia/Rousey/Charlotte as potential champions lately, though there is potential to push (or re-push) others such as Mandy Rose, Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Ruby Riott, Tamina, Bayley etc. Or, promoting Kairi Sane/Ember Moon in the near future. I also think Sarah Logan has potential. The issue is that until the likes of Charlotte, Asuka, Alexa, and eventually Rousey are knocked down a few pegs with more losses and not getting the title back, no one is a serious contender IMO. Not quite at that level, anyway.
 
@Lord SInister @Havak it was a great match but do you guys not think this would be a better rivalry if Nia was disqualified instead of a clean loss. Because looking at the Roster arguably only 3 people you could beleive could beat Asuka. Bliss but it would be by some sort of unclean method. Nia I would believe she could beat her clean. Then of course well Rousey.

Saying that whilst typing this thelocker room chat between Alexa and Nia Just came up and way to sell it Nia. Think they might push her as a face soon.

The Bayley,Sasha thing is a little weird because right now no idea which one they are going to push as a heal. Hopefully they play an angle of Sasha just trying to lure Bayley in before the turn.

Wouldnt have had Nia lose again that same fashion.Would have kept her strong even if it getting herself DQ'd to keep Asuka streak alive but Nia still a monster (for now). And of course cos of the DQ she no longer has matches with Asuka before WM.

Also dont think womens only PPV would work unless they had a first PPV determine a tag titles. Wouldnt mind a tournament for a PPV. Think across the brands they could have enough (especially after mania if they call some up, eg iconic duo)

Speaking of Raw, it was nice and refreshing to see Stephanie 'get' hers without getting it fully.

What they could do is have a ‘Queen Of The Ring’ tournament style PPV. Have them wrestle more than once in an evening. Have a draw for matches with seeded people from each roster to fill out the numbers and put in people like Ember Moon, Sane, Cross, Peyton and so on. Which would give them enough people for say a 3 hr event plus introduce the NXT girls to a wider audience for the future.

I just think something like that would bring a bit more intrest to a PPV and they could have a lot of creative fun with the winner. Who remembers King Regal or Booker :lol:

They are trying so hard to make this Roman/Brock match interesting with these worked shoot promos and it isn't working at all. Honestly, I miss the days of WWE/F where the main event guys didn't need to shoot on eachother to get fans to care. It was interesting when Punk did it (& I'm no Punk fan) because it was new but I feel it happens too much nowadays.

Also, they lost half a million viewers from hour 2 to 3 even though they saved that Heyman/Reigns promo - the fourth biggest single hour drop in the show's history. Ever since the Chamber where Reigns won the ratings have continued to fall. I think that's a fair reflection on this trashy force-fed feud.

Provided they dont have have the winners of the MMC win the individual tournaments.
 
Saw a video of the MMC today on YouTube. They are really playing up this Braun and Alexa attraction thing. Best bit is Jimmy Uso trash talking Braun after the bit where she lands on top of him on the outside. ‘Talk about getting these hands look like you got your hands full with her’ or something like that.

Also Naomi got some serious hops, kicks Alexa in the head when Alexa is away to deliver twisted Bliss knocking her off the rope and Braun catches her on the outside.

I'm sick of the "shoot" promos too.

Miz is another culprit. He delivers them well but it's serious crutch for him.

Yeah, they need to look at the Usos. Probably the best in the company at promos at the minute and no shooting (bar that one line about Xavier in their rap battle). Or look at Samoa Joe's feud with Lesnar. He didn't need to shoot to get people to back him. He just cut some great promos and kicked ass.

When I sometimes go back to watch classic WWF I still get sucked in and they don't shoot at all. Randy Savage - a guy I never watched as a kid because he'd already left WWF and I didn't watch WCW (so there's no nostalgia involved) still engrosses me with his promos. His rivalry with Jake the Snake is one of my favourites and it's just simple story telling. It reminds of one of Cornette's rants about how wrestlers nowadays have to do so much more to just get a reaction because everyone and their mother knows what goes on in wrestling nowadays, though he was mainly talking about all the bumps they take now but I think it applies to promos, too.
 
There is a rumour that Asuka is going to choose Charlotte, and Nia vs Bliss will be the Wrestlemania match. Seems weird as they’ve sort of built a story for Bliss vs Asuka. They did throw in that Nia locker scene, so could be something in it.
Apparently they have just been holding off till after Fastlane.
