That was a pretty good promo by Reigns, if he was over with the crowd it would probably have gotten a far bigger reaction.

Cena vs Undertaker is surely going to happen especially with the free agent stuff as weren’t both originally Smackdown. Undertaker is back in training apparently. I’d expect Cena to bow out and take that loss for the Undertaker.

It was a good promo. I know most won't agree but the build up and match with Brock will be good. My dissapointment was from wanting something different and building on the rise of Braun.

Wasn’t there last match at Mania actually pretty good. Think it was one of the few matches Brock has put any effort in. I do agree I just wanted it to be anyone else preferably Braun. Seemed weird after him destroying everyone, smashing Roman then just him in a battle with Elias and nothing mentioned by Reigns about it.

@paulscholes18 yeah that was funny:lol: although Bayley refusing the tag in itself was kind of a heel move and I’m getting sick fed up of any match Asuka is in her winning even a tag match. I was pretty sure her streak would go on until Rousey took it but I’m now starting to wonder if Alexa will get a unclean win over her.

I could see Asuka throwing a curveball and going after Charlotte. Leaving Alexa to defend against... Nia?
IC title match will be at least a triple threat if not a multi-man match (maybe ladder)?

Romans promo was great because it didnt sound like he was trying to remember words of a script. And tbh, he said what most were thinking. We need that title taken off Brock ASAP.

Chamber thoughts

- The Women's elimination chamber was fine, though it did manage to make Absolution look like shit (not got a problem with that - they are pretty shit) and Sasha look like a total moron.
- Alexa is awesome.
- Some matches happened that i didn't care about
- I thought Rhonda segment was pretty bad. Maybe I missed something on weekly programming, but was Angle calling out HHH and Steph even remotely seeded? It just seemed to come out of nowhere and turn the segment into a bit of a joke (though the physicality went some way to saving it).
- Can't deal with Steph in these big "look at me spots"
- Men's Elimination Chamber was really good... Obvious Roman would win, but genius Braun is so over. Could you imagine of Roman got the type of response Braun gets? They'd be wanking themselves silly.
- I don't like what they've done to Cena at all... there was a point about a year ago where pinning Cena was a big deal, now anyone can seemingly fall on him and get the job done.

I see they're wasting Ibushi and Omega at the Long Beach show in a match against The Young Bucks... kinda disappointing.

HHH turned on Angle at Survivor Series, pedigreed him to let him get pinned, then won the match himself. Of course.
Angle the next night said he would fight HHH but wont cos he likes the job or something.
Then this happened.
The on Raw next night (yesterday) he basically said he lied cos he needs the job (presumably to support his illegitimate son lol - surgery is expensive afterall). But HHH clocked him anyway.

Hell no! I'd rather Brock keep the belt than Roman winning. Anyone other than Cena and Reigns then fair enough, but no champ is better than those two.

Much rather brick dropped it to Braun, Rollins or Finn.

But got to think, at least the belt will be on Raw weekly. Guts like Finn, Seth and Braun will finally get an actual look in. Silver lining.

With Roman there as champ, we will get some good matches with the likes of Rollins, Braun, Finn, etc.
Brock is boring. Same thing every time. Heyman does a promo for him whilst he bounces around.
He has a 'match' which is basically suplexes. He kicks out of the opponents move then downs them with one f5.
And then disappears for 3 months.

See, I don't care if the belts are on the show weekly if it means Reigns or Cena are involved because I don't watch their bits. These are the two talents who made WWE a chore to watch for me so I just pick and choose parts to watch now.

There's not even that many in the company I'm actually a fan of, but I don't care who he drops it to bar those two. I don't like Finn or Miz but I wouldn't begrudge them holding the belt, nevermind a talent I don't mind in Rollins or a talent I like in Braun. As it is, I want Brock to win 100%, which has 0% of happening, but oh well - I think we've all known for over a year this was how WrestleMania was going to pan out so I'm not too disappointed at him winning the chamber.

Wrestling is subjective and as such those matches don't appeal to me. Good for those that look forward to said matches but I just can't get into Reigns.

Brock is boring now, but in his prime he was one of my favourite wrestlers ever so I cut him some leeway. Plus, for me anyway, it's not like the roster is full of stars I love watching so he has that, too.

@Yagami
Apart from his match with Aj last year, Brock has been boring since his matches with Seth (triple threat), Punk and original Cena match on return.
Brock before going UFC was fantastic to watch though.

Reigns has had super matches for a long time now. Id rather we just get ahead to WM, get it over with the title change, and then let others who have a chance fight for the title.
Personally I think it should have been Braun taking the title from Brock but oh well.

edit: actually I really liked Brock vs Goldberg at Mania and would be happy to see something similar with him and Roman this year.

Hey, I agreed with you that Brock was boring! The last match of his I enjoyed was against Punk which is saying a lot because he recently faced two of my favourites in AJ & Samoa Joe and I didn't care for their matches at all. Though, as I said before, I prefer him to Reigns and Cena and also cut him some leeway due to him being one of my favourites in his prime.

As for Reigns' super matches, they just don't appeal to me. Fair enough if you and other like them, though - I won't belittle you for liking something I don't. Like Cena, no matter what he does, I just can't get into him with the way they've been booked. Plus, Cena made wrestling look as fake as anything which didn't help. Reigns is a little better than him in that regard, but it's not saying much because his clotheslines in the corner and selling are abysmal, too.

By the way, I didn't get a notification here for some reason!

I think because I edited your name afterwards @Yagami
Although I still thought that would alert you lol.

Yeah, its all about opinions. I liked Cenas run as US champ and his matches for that period. And his matches with AJ.

For me, the no brainer was Braun. Big guy, entertaining, loved by the masses. Ist what WWE should want. But Reigns... 4 wm main events in a row. And hes gonna get booed at the end of it. Again. Its nuts.
Maybe if they let him do promos like on Raw fans may get behind him.

'Tis! Which is why I'll never criticise someone for liking Roman or Cena.

As for Braun, I did hope he'd sway their Roman-Brock plans due to how over he got because unlike Daniel Bryan, he has size on his size which we all know is boner inducing for good ol' Vince. Alas, they're set in their ways. I'm hearing Braun will probably be involved in the Rousey/HHH/Stephanie programme which isn't bad as that's likely to get the most mainstream exposure out of everything at WM.

Roman vs Brock will be shit too. Through no fault of Reigns' though.

Lesnar phoned it in against Ambrose at Wrestlemania when he knew he was leaving afterwards for his UFC return and the same situation is happening here.

Does anyone remember the first ever match between Goldberg and Lesnar? That is the biggest pile I have ever seen. It was horrendous. Hopefully Brock isn’t in the “phone in” mind set if he is leaving.

I do wonder if they still perceive Braun as being too green to carry the title. His new kinda face response to the crowd asking him to slam people is just very awkward and weird for me. Needs to leave the crowd wanting more.

I just wish Roman had a much better moveset.

His spear is weak as hell and the Superman Punch goes through me because it looks shit, is well over used and Michael Cole's voice kills it every five seconds.

Play a drinking game whereby you drink every time you hear 'THE BIG DOG' or 'SUPERMAN PUNCH!' and you'd die in short order.

He needs new stuff.

Braun getting the title will be immense because they've kept him away from it so far, the pay off will be huge cause the fans absolutely love him.

Problem is that at least Reigns isn't so impossibly big and dominant that other guys winning against him isn't too far fetched. Strowman as champ just kinda kills any competition I guess.

Although he'd be hilarious with the belt.

I just wish he'd have smashed his way out of the chamber pod midway through before he was 'scheduled' to. He just gets bored and frustrated and goes full HULK SMASH everywhere. Would've been glorious to see. Oh to have him in the Attitude/Ruthless Aggression era where they could actually do big spots and have destruction. Even though it had its moments I thought this was the worst men's chamber match by a long way. Nothing brutal about it whatsoever.

The worst thing about the chamber was that they didnt have Braun snap that he didnt win, and just tip that over into the crowd with Reigns in it.

Braun winning the title can be a great moment, if they do it right. WWE havent always been good at that. Especially if they wait too long to do it.

Cena and AJ thrown in a match, yet again beyond most matches you’ll see. Do have to wonder why Cena only brings out these other moves against good people. Some messy spots but overall it was a great match. Still think we’ll see Cena vs Undertaker at Mania.

Bit weird that Cena has been losing to everyone under the sun but gets a clean victory over AJ the WWE champ.

Now that Ronda is here, I might just start watching this seriously.
I could be wrong but I don't think Ronda will be a full time superstar. More of a Brock Lesnar special attraction. I heard she signed a full time contract, though, so if I'm wrong someone feel free to correct me.

There are multiple reasons for that. The first being health reasons. If he were to wrestle every match with big spots and whatnot it'd take a serious toll on his body (and every other wrestler on the roster, too) considering how much they wrestle. Cena's also on both RAW & SmackDown as well. I'm surprised they're not cutting down on house shows because of this to be honest.

The other being that it's standard booking for wrestlers in the WWE to save the big spots for the big matches in order to make them seem as such. They need something to differentiate them from the norm. Like the kick outs. They're obnoxious with the amount of kickouts they have in big matches now, but they do it so that it feels like a big match and to get the crowd involved.

I wouldn’t say these were massive moves, they were just different moves from his normal set. There was no rubbish you can’t see me, no stupid shoulder bump thing he does. It was just standard power moves that he doesn’t do but he should more often. He did take some big moves from AJ. AJ also took some big hits as at times it was a bit sloppy but he also did a 450 splash to Cena knees which I just can’t see how you take that move without getting hurt.

It was just a good match, but then left wondering why Cena, why?

Cena began to experiment a lot with moves later in his career, even with his big gorilla physique.

Top rope leg drops, code reds and springboard stunners (which he thankfully seems to have given up on, he could never get it right.) were just a few.

Rumours doing the rounds that Brock vs Reigns might not be the final match of the night. The position on the card and the outcome could be dependent on the outcome of the steroid scandal.

The finish of WM should see Stephanie standing over Ronda having made her tap out to an armbar.

Only way Reigns vs Brock doesn't close the show is if they do have Cena face Taker. The steroid allegations read like bollocks from a guy that keeps saying he has evidence and has yet to produce anything.

Who do people reckon are the current top 5 at promos?
1. Cena
2. Miz
3. New day
4. USO’s
5. Bliss

Not sure Heyman would count as he’d be top 5 easy and Enzo would be first easily. Maybe Cena doesn’t deserve that spot as his promos aren’t really that consistent in recent times but occasionally it’s next level stuff like that Roman destruction.

New day and Usos consistently deliver good hard promos.

Should add I like guys like Braun, Rusev and so on but they don’t really say much. Elias has been pretty good as well.

The people I like watching when they're doing promos:

1. Paul Heyman
2. The Uso's
3. The Miz
4. Handsome Rusev
5. John Cena

Kevin Owens has to be in there... I'd put him second to the Miz.

Uso's have a great promo style, but I don't think they're at the point yet where you could just pt them out in front of a crowd and they could go for 5 minutes like Miz/Cena/ New Day do...

So my list would be:

1. The Miz
2. Kevin Owens
3. John Cena
4. The New Day
5. Alexa Bliss

after that it would be Uso's, Rusev and Elias.

2. Kevin Owens
When I first wrote my list I had totally forgotten about the Miz and I was racking my brain trying to think of a 5th and Kevin was the one I kept thinking of. I think he maybe goes quite unnoticed because of the way he delivers them, but then it’s in keeping with his character if that makes sense. Like they are often quite slow and calculated but that’s his character. So yeah he is in contention for me.

Great shout!

Maybe you’re right about the Usos. Really only recently they’ve really started to nail down promos and even then they are quite restricted to the point. Not sure how well they’d do having to improv.

For me its all about Kevin Owens above anyone. ..he's more varied and just burns everyone plus is way funnier:
