Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Anyone in the UK have issues with Sky taping Raw? I have it on a series link and occasionally it doesn’t tape. I think it’s because it moves channel. Like last night I was heading to bed and then noticed it was just after 1 and noticed no red light on my box. So I missed the first 15 minutes but this isn’t the first time this has happened.

Also what is Bayleys secret with the her finisher? Cena Just gave Seth a triple belly to belly and Seth was fine. What is that douchets secret to such a powerful belly to belly? I can’t recall many if any kicking out of it.

Seth beating Reigns and Cena in the same night 1 after the other is massive. I wonder if WWE will brush that under the carpet or make something of it because it’s not often someone knocks off the two top guys in 1 night.

The most famous finisher in the history of wrestling is a leg drop. I'm just saying...
People give Bayley a lot of crap but she's fine imo. She's an ultra face to appeal to the little kids and that's fine. There's about 1 million other female superstars competing for that edgy, modern, "lion hear me roar" role in the women's divsion.

Might be due to the era in what I watched but rock bottom, stunner, RKO, figure 4, sharpshooter I would say are far more famous than the leg drop of Hogan.(if that’s who you are referencing of course)
It’s not so much just her character, at a push I can view it but as soon as I see that finisher a boiling anger just comes over my body when I think how stupid it is. Although her finisher being the curb stomp would be an amazing contradiction. She is supposed to be turning heal soon if the Gardens leak and speculation has any truth behind it. Probably not.

They put it on Sky Action last night instead of Sky Sports, so probably why.

What, The Brain Kendrick

I wonder how she will get on at WM
Yeah that promo package of her training wrestling. That’s Kendrick gym and I’m sure he was the guy you see her wrestling. Who knew being forced to watch Total Divas would come in handy:rolleyes: that’s where Eve Marie went for training.

I’m guessing her match will be a squash match unless she does have a pretty good base of moves. She has supposedly been training in her spare time for a few years so really who knows. I just wonder how she’ll perform to a crowd and get them involved as she seems quite shy doing normal tv interviews. How will her promos be or will they just add her to Heyman’s stable. Think they’ve missed a trick with this mix match challenge thing as well. Brock and Ronda vs doesn’t matter.

who forced you:lol::lol:

Kinda looks like they started / made teases towards Rollins/Balor and Braun/Miz
I would enjoy the former. The latter imo is a big mistake as I really think Braun should be dethroning Brock
But given how reigns has lost to Miz and the gauntlet recently as well as the final person eliminated in the rumble, it seems almost certain he will win the chamber.

Assuming Cena/Elias will take each other out and start a WM build there with Joe being out now.

Heard Rollins may face angle at mania. Won't mind that and that would be an amazing match. I seriously hope Rollins goes to SD and wins the title. He is that damn good. A solid win over angle at mania could be a great start.

Balor can feud with miz for the ic title. And braun who should be facing brock is sadly relegated to do meaningless stuff. The best thing he can do is tag with ronda to face hhh and Steph.

Rollins and Cena was 33 minutes long... pretty impressive. If you took that out and put it by itself you may well have the best WWE main roster match of the year.

If WWE don't capitalise on Seth Rollins after last night....
Yeah, will they tho. I have very little faith in them to do so. Also is there a reason Seth occasionally does other people’s finishers? On that, Cena isn’t a light fellow and Rollins although clearly strong I wasn’t sure he’d be that strong.
Knocking off the two top guys is a big move by the WWE and hopefully it’s planned and wasn’t just a writing mishap.

Kinda feel that should have been the spot for Balor as Rollins doesn’t really need a push and if the plan is to have multiple bonified stars then a nudge up would have been good. Balor needs a big win soon. Suspect elimination chamber match will set up a few Mania matches.

Disagree. Balor is over with the fans, we all know it and Vince knows it. Rollins stock has been low for about a year now. He needs the push more IMO. We all know what he can do, last night was a reminder.

Rollins gets louder cheers than Balor. I think WWE have been doing such a bad job, the reactions to Balor are fading.
he really doesnt have anything. I think him vs Miz would be fantastic way to get him up a level due to how awesome miz is making fans hate him and love his opponents.

Seth had one of his best showings since he returned from his injury and deserved that ovation when he left. It would be typical WWE not to follow that. After how they followed Balor beating AJ, wouldnt be a surprise.

Rollins imo, had two ppv worth matches yesterday. The way it was booked, it was well done cos he was pretty much dead by the time Elias came out and having Elias win was well done.

The question is, how will she react when the crowd start chanting Holly Holm's name...

I do agree Balor is over with the fans as such as we like him. But he kinda needs that big win to make him a proper contender. Rollins is a bonified star in the WWE where as Balor to me needs to knock off a big name in a big match.
After the AJ match you would have expected a bigger push, after the rumble although it was one hell of a match he still lost to Cena. I’m not sure an inter belt is enough considering he had to hand over the title due to injury. Nothing has really been made of that. Unless WWE are playing us and he wins the chamber taking out Braun as the last man sending him to Mania to defeat Brock and the wee man doing the unthinkable.

Personaly I think Miz is fantastic but I don’t see that being enough although I think that is where it will go with his baby due soon.

Really enjoyed the opening hour of Raw for a change, it just goes to show how good some of those guys are if they're given the opportunity to showcase their talent.

On a scale of 1 to Road Dogg, How many of you actually enjoy SD now? So fecking bad..
Every week seems to have a multiple person womens match with the same people.
Every week seems to have SHane and Bryan arguing over the world title and Sami/KO.
The US title and tag titles seem to have the same storyline no matter who is involved.

AJ being champ normally guarantees great matches. But SD has been shite since WM last year which is a massive shame given the roster. (think that was the time Road Dogg began writing it)

"oh you don’t know? Your ass better call SOMEBODY!!!....” Road dog might be a crap writer but still the best hype man in ages.
The crowd when he drops in to the ladies and gentleman boys and girls and children of all ages. Just gets you pumped for the good old days.

That first hour of Raw was damn good, you know Cena gets a lot of stick being, people saying he can’t wrestle but over like the last few years he’s been in some of the best matches I can remember seeing in a hell of a long time. His matches vs Owens when Owens was just called up and still NXT champ. First time i’d Seen Owens and he was incredible pulling off moves I hadn’t seen in WWE and Cena was going with them. AJ, Balor,Rollins,Reigns all been really good matches. Put him in with someone who can go and he is pretty good at adapting to them and just listening to the crowd. He’s basic in his move set but it works with the better wrestlers.

You’ve got to wonder about the supposed Cena burying thing as it looks like recently he’s really let these guys shine against him. Forgot about the Miz matches as well. Again like Cena not like some of the others mentioned but is a solid performer and again reacts to the crowd and makes others look good with a simple move set. Reigns probably falls in to that category as well except for maybe not as good at reacting with the crowd.

Glad the ratings for Raw were good and reflected the quality of the gauntlet match.

I read an article earlier that stated that Braun, Styles, Elias and the Usos (in that order) are the four biggest merchandise sellers. Cena and Roman were nowhere to be seen.

Cena was the companies top man for so many years because of the merchandise sales he generated. I wonder whether they will give the title to Strowman to capitalise on his popularity?

The Rusev Day merchandise is also a massive seller at the moment too.

I've just gone to WWEshop.com, and done "all products" sorted by best-seller. I'm getting Rusev, Elias, Styles, Matt Hardy, and Balor as the top results. Braun's on the third line down though (with The Undisputed Era).

Saw a Roman thing a few lines down, but didn't notice anything Cena. Of course, I'm just doing a simple search there, and I don't know what sort of timescale that'd cover.

Speaking of Elias, they should really look into selling some custom guitar picks as part of his merch.

I’d imagine these things sort of fluctuate with who is doing well in that current moment but I suppose it’s looked at over the year and I’d imagine Cena for example probably has a steady sale of merch throughout the year as a-posed to fluctuating.

I want me a get these hands tshirt. Saw a video the other day where it’s him, Paige and Alexa and Paige shouts at him to get his attention then when he looks up shouts get these hands whilst putting her fist in shot. He then puts his pinky finger up to her. Is this some sort of new insault I don’t know about or was he just trying to be PG.

Roman Reigns to win the men's chamber. But interesting to see what they do with Braun. maybe a few of them pin him together or let him win but later on somehow get Roman Reigns into the Brock match too.
The Miz will go back to focusing on the Intercontinental with maybe Finn Balor or Seth Rollins. Cena will disappear again while Elias will just do what he's doing now.

Asuka win via submission.

Can see Alexa Bliss retaining, but a chance they'll give it to Sasha as she's a big draw for a Wrestlemania match more than the rest.
Absolution are nothing now Paige isn't wrestling, Mickey doesn't need another push while Bayley needs a heel turn to bring something back for her character.

Matt Hardy beat Bray Wyatt in what will be a boring match. I'll probably skip through most of this one.

The Bar v Titus Worldwide, I'd like to see Titus get a run at the titles but think The Bar. Titus has the look and mic skills but gets overlooked too much, and Apollo has potential but they've just not used him properly since the draft.

Gallows & Anderson v Revival, probably Revival to give them a push. They'll get the tag titles soon enough, one way could be to beat the faces of Titus Worldwide instead of The Bar.

Most of the results will be predictable so it's hard to get excited to see who wins, I'm just hoping to see some great matches. Men's chamber and nia/asuka should be good, dont hold too much hope for the womens chamber considering who's in it.

Would probably be more entertaining if Brock somehow screws Braun from winning this just to add a little extra to that rivalry.

Prediction Reigns tries to spear someone, it gets dodged and he goes through a chamber. Braun puts someone through a chamber. Alexa does a twisted Bliss off of a chamber, Rollins or Balor do something similar off a chamber. At one point the ring will be littered with bodies and Cena standing tall away to deliver attitude adjustment, probably to Braun then Braun will power out.

Reigns will win every match including the woman’s chamber.

EC Predictions
Pre show
Gallows and Anderson Vs Miztourage

Bray Wyatt V Matt Hardy
Asuka
V Jax
The Bar V Titus Worldwide
Alexa Bliss V Sasha Banks V Bayley V Mandy Rose V Sonya Deville V Mickie James
Miz V Finn Balor V Seth Rollins V Braun Strowman V Roman Reigns V John Cena V Ellis

If I were on the WWE creative team and had to accept Reigns winning the chamber with Finn set up to face Miz at Wrestlemania, I'd tie Brawn into a feud with Seth that kicks off with some sort of angle in the Chamber. Seth and Brawn can make each other look great in their own ways and both deserve a big match.

That one on one without a title, just to kill a feud is what Wrestlemania needs. One where the rivalry is so bitter that its personal, and not about any titles. That can be Seth and Brawn if they tell the story right. Somewhat like Seth vs Orton a few years ago, which I actually became quite vested in seeing and turned out to be a quality match.
