I can actually see them having Lesnar beat Cena quite decisively. Cena takes a few (well-deserved) months off, Brock looks like an absolute beast because he's taken out "the guy," and then you get to bring Cena back with a bit of a change in character. Not necessarily heel, but just something a bit different.

I'm not really a fan of the Lord Tensai character though, although it is early days. Got to give him some points for using the Poison Mist, mind.

Would you believe that Bubba Ray is actually doing really well for himself in TNA? Lost a fair bit of weight and excellent on the microphone. There's a good chance he'll win the title there, and it'd be fully deserved. Never thought I'd see the day when I'd say that.

The days when stars started off in tag teams to hone their skills. The likes of Michael's, Hardys, Dudleys, Edge , Christian and even Stone Cold had succesful careers as a tag team before their singles push. Back then the tag matches were something to look forward to in their own right rather than a way to get four main event stars in the same match on raw or purely a time filler
Agreed, there is a real lack of good tag teams these days.
New age outlaws v big boss man and ken shamrock was always good fun, and when they had a team finisher it always got the crowd lively.
The dudley drop always had everybody on there feet.
It's not just in the wwe though its all over the world. Tag team wreslting has died a death which is a shame as when done properly Tag Team wrestling is fantastic an offers something different. There are no Tag Teams forthe sake of just beng tag teams. It's always solo performer one matched up with solo performer 2 against a couple of other story opponents of the time. The idea that tag team was where they honed their skills is the cause as when being a single competitor is the goal as opposed to tag team glory then it's inevitable. I loved the days of the hardys dudleys and so on but the days are gone and I doubt I'll ever see a teams like the Legion of Doom, Hart Foundation, Bulldogs and especally the Steiners who for me were the greatest tag team the worlds ever seen.
I'll agree that tag team wrestling in the WWE and TNA is at an all time low (mainly down to both companies having about three teams each).
There's still some very good tag teams out in the indies though, including WGTT, The Briscoes, The Young Bucks, and The All Night Express in ROH. CHIKARA actually has quite a focus on tag team wrestling, and they have an annual six-man tag team tournament called King of Trios (which is September this year).

My favourite match of all time, Jeff Hardy deserves tremendous credit for what he put his body through in this match.
I had forgotten how fun the Dudleys were. Great match, definitely up there with one of my favourites.
