Kinda win win for Thrope isn't it? He can hardly do any worse than our batsmen in the last test match. A couple of 30s and everyone will be happy I suspect. God, we're pleased with little. I can see Kirsten getting more big runs at the Oval and SA getting us out cheaply in at least one innings.

i see what you mean bout Freddy now but he was nowhere near that when i last posted.

i very nearly agree with your last comment altho Nas really won us the Trent Bridge game. Butch could've been up there too if he hadn't dropped so many.

yeah ok ok i admit it's not great but the bowling seemed to be a big improvement today. we have to push for 400.

captaincy seems to be Mickey's albatross atm.

As with every player who gets it. If it's allowed in the rules, we should have a non-playing captain. Otherwise we should just give it to whoever the crappest rookie in the team is. :rolleyes:
