@Big red123 , Your Turn!
Rooney is a great pick, was fantastic in Euro 2004
There are still plenty of shocking omissions here. Hoping they get snapped up in the last rounds. A striker who was directly involved in a minimum of one goal per game and made it to the team of the tournament while going out directly and finishing last in their group.
Another midfielder who was also directly involved in one goal a goal game as well. There isn't much more you can ask from players than to be more or less guaranteed to have an direct impact on at least a goal per game.
Not to speak about a free forward capable of drifting wide as well who ended the tournament as shared top scorer.
Gary Neville
Spain at the time played a brilliant 4-4-2 with Guardiola and Sven as a central midfield partnership. Proving that you don't have to play a Pirlo/Guardiola with two defensively outstanding runners besides them to build a great team.
Probably not. I was glad to get him, wanted him for many rounds. In this setup, he imo really completes the 4 man midfield, and makes a really complete duo with Xavi. I cannot think of many other CMs who would be able to replace him in my setup.I suppose you will just get shot of Philip before it is in any way relevant
Was going to pick him next
Somebody who just comes to this page in the thread would think we all have no clue on football
Vogts, Camacho, Kaltz, Pirlo, Guadriola as 9th picks

the pool of players is just to big....most of us said how the quality of players will drastically went down after first few rounds but it didnt, most of the players are fantastic. There are few players yet to be picked who were brilliant at Euro's and im fairly sure they wont be picked.
This is painfully slow.
It might. I don't see any issues with Campbell, agreed - he was a beast at his prime. As for Pepe.. Look, I watch RM almost every week and I don't think the criticism he usually gets in England is deserved. I mean, I agree he is a nasty nasty player but he does his job really well most of the times and a very good partner for Ramos. But, maybe I don't remember him good enough on Euro 2008 & 2012, but I don't recall any amazing performances by him that will, for me, earn him a definite spot in TotT. Sometimes these awards are full of shit, just like Ballon D'or doesn't really represent the player who was the best in the world that season or the UEFA team of the season is huge bullshit too.I know I'm still dreading it. More so because I took a gamble on Campbell and Pepe. Not draft regulars, but Campbell in his prime was a monster, and Pepe was made TotT twice...not many can lay claim to that! Hope this doesn't backfire on me!
I rate both Pepe and Campbell (even if I dislike the latter), but you shouldn't overestimate TotT inclusions since 1996, when they figured that they should pick not 11, but more players. So 2 Pepe's inclusions are not equal in any way to, say, K.H.Förster's. Yes, there are more players in the tournament too, but still.I know I'm still dreading it.
