This. Hopefully by the end of the season this is the preferred partnershipAmad and Mainoo.
Move Bruno further back, pair him with Ugarte.

None of those teams has an AM playing in CM in there. Maybe this could be a hint for a few fans who still want to play a certain Portugese thereIf you look at what Man City's set up was for a few years, it was something like:
--------------------Haaland
Grealish---KDB--Gundo---Bernardo
-----------Rodri--Stones
----------Ake--Dias--Akanji
-----------------Ederson
Chelsea under Tuchel
-------------------Werner
------------Mount--Havertz---
---Chilwell----Kante--Joginho--James
----------Rudiger------Azpi--Silva
-------------------Mendy
Chelsea under Conte
------------Costa
---Hazard-----Pedro
Alonso----Matic--Kante--Moses
-------Azpi---Cahill--Luiz
-------------Courtois
Theres quite a variation of players in each of those set ups - so there are quite a few ways to skin a cat, with this set up. And with those teams, we know it works in the PL.
It is almost a wasted season, we need to allow Amorim to experiment who is our best XI. I hope I see our star players drop in favour for players who are hardworking and put in a shift that means dropping Rashford.
But we don't really play with two #10s, do we?Two #10's with a #9.5: does any team play this way?
On paper it may look like two 10’s but Rashford doesn’t offer much in the build up phase, it worked pretty well with JZ with his ability to link up from deeper areas. Two #10's with a #9.5: does any team play this way?
Yeah I really like the sound of that too.Amad and Mainoo behind Hojlund with Bruno at 8 next to Ugarte would be fantastic..
