I'm expecting it to be nuts. For us Utd fans it should be the most interesting since the transfer Windows's began.

But I also expect, Chelsea's and City to add to their squads too.

Wenger will have no choice but to sign at least 2 I expect.

Let the madness begin...

Northing will beat 2008 with us signing Berbatov, followed by Rooney in 2004.

Should be mental. Really surprised we've left it this late. Thought we'd try and sign someone this week

I was not a big fan of the Berbs transfer, I guess I would have been like the poster Kevin on the move for him.

I was only reminded that Rooney was in fact on deadline day recently. Correct me if I am wrong, it wasn't overly dramatic was it? We had it pretty much sealed in the days before and it was done early in the day.

Speculation will be crazy, signings will be a disapointment imo. Either we'll sign no one at all or just Fellani quoteing no value, at least we tried as the money from the transfer pot goes into buying back more bonds.

We worked on it and it wasn't an actual last minute thing, but I think it was during the day the announcement was made about an outline agreement between the clubs. Rooney was photographed in the morning going for his medical so the game was pretty much up then anyway.

It'll be a late Fellaini deal, and that's it, I'm afraid.

From what I remember from 2004 was that we played Everton one day before and Rooney was still injured. And when I woke up on the deadline day it was in all the papers about Rooney signing, but I think it took until late afternoon before we confirmed him on the official site, so it was still a worry. Also Newcastle come in with a bid a few days before.

I think we will sign Fellaini. Quite sure over it but I guess tomorrows papers will have many stories on it.

I don't think we're going to sign anyone. I fully expect the day to be depressing.

Even if we don't, we will all realistically think we can right up until the end.

Not like Ol spoil sport Fergie who hated doing business on the day.

Ps I preferred Fergies ways.

At the pace the club have worked at with bids this Summer I am very pessimistic at the prospect of them suddenly signing players on D-Day.

C'mon folks, we will sign someone. Worst case scenario, we bow down to Everton's asking price for Fellaini.

Don't think Spurs have finished yet either. Could be that Danny boy's just been getting warmed up so far, ready for the big finale.

Forgot that Bale actually hasn't completed his move yet.

Will spurs go tits up if that deal breaks down?

We could then swoop in with a 50mill offer to save their skins a little.

Woodward will be a hero come Tuesday.
If we only sign Fellaini and Baines, he most certainly will not.

Not saying they aren't good players, but they should have been piss easy transfers that a retard could seal.

It would be funny if Real suddenly pulled out of the Bale deal to buy Suarez instead, leaving Spurs in a financial shambles. Even funnier if Bale has a shite season and his value plummets to under £30m.

I expect us to sign Fellaini and late in the day it'll be breaking news that we've met Herrera's release clause but a deal won't happen.

I believe I will turn the internet off and avoid all media on Monday.

Nothing we've done so far is in the least dependent on selling Bale. To believe that Levy doesn't know his onions is just wishful thinking.

I was expecting that this summer we really will sign two midfielders. Now it has come to the stage then I would be happy even with Fellaini, a player that I wouldn't want that much two months ago. Madness!

I think that Levy has made this deals thinking that he'll get the money from Bale. Spurs doesn't have the finances to make 90m net spend (no-one in England except City/Chelsea can do that). But the worst case scenario is to sell Bale next summer to balance the books. If he doesn't play good it will be a bit shit for Spurs when he'll leave for much less than the figures we're having this season, but likely the money from UCL and the new TV deal will compensate the difference.

Better make sure that the whoever this grand finale signing is doesn't get kidnapped by Abramovich at the airport when he comes in for a medicine check.

True. But then again Willian was just an opportunistic event - a very suitable player who came onto the market unexpectedly - rather than Plan A for Spurs. But next time we'll do the medical and signing on the plane en route!

It wouldn't be the first time Levy's left it too late in the window and fecked up Spurs' chances for the season. He may well have spent the last few years learning everything he can about his own onions. but it not wishful thinking to suggest he's cried over them in the past.

We'l sign atleast 1 player. I hope so for the sake of sanity of the ones making these calls at the club.

I am glad a couple more signings have brought you back from your self imposed exclusion, the place was not the same without you.

Oh and you are talking nonsense.

I was talking about finances (Bale money or the absence of it), rather than transfer successes or failings.
