Jaz is the only smart one I reckon. Get what you’re saying but arguably he’s actually protected himself because he’d be too obvious to kill currently. He can’t go all guns blazing Ant style cos no one will back him (as they’re all morons basing their logic around personality) and they’ll probably do something really dumb like “wow Jaz hates Paul therefore Jaz must be a traitor” and banish the cnut. Still early days, he’s got loads of evidence building on Paul, hope he can survive and kill him. Think he might start to suspect Harry soon too.

As a group though, they are proper thick. Traitors have it easy.

He's not influential enough to sway the others so it would be a bit pointless trying to convince the most popular guy there is betraying them. He's done just enough to not get banished and ironically not get murdered by Paul.
 
I can see the scenario where Jaz goes back to Harry and asks why he told Paul because it's looks Sus as hell. So Harry takes it upon himself to take out Paul like they did with Ash. Leading to Paul getting banished after playing 8D chess.

Honestly as soon as he dropped Harry's name I was like why the feck has he done that? Jaz is now untouchable because he's got another day to tell people about the convo (with the forced Diane murder) and Harry's name hasn't come up at all.

Bad move from Paul. And not the first one either. The dungeon was a big feck up (although not his fault that the team didn't win his immunity) but surely they're not that thick to miss him for much longer?

Initially thought Paul was an enjoyable traitor to watch but it's quickly become apparent that he's far too up himself.
He's made far too many mistakes that are purely down to overconfidence. A good group of faithfuls would've had him out already, and even with this lot I don't think he makes it too much further.

Jaz is the only one with who didn't have his brain removed.

Paul is such a twat, he is so desperate to be a media personality (has had a lot of attempts before such as Deal or no Deal, some BMX show and is a regular on Joe Wilkinson's podcast). That's why I can't enjoy his stupid villain run. He is just doing whatever he can to be the most talked about person and clearly when under pressure shits the bed like he did with the Jaz convo.

Harry I am not a huge fan of but I will admit he played it excellent last episode with the Antony banishment. He will go to the end unless Paul panics again and throws him into the mix

@LordSpud has spoilt the next episode for me a bit (you fecker) but can see Paul is going to challenge Jaz and drop Harry in it.

I agree Jaz is smart, and not influential yet, but he needs to step up at some point rather than wishing himself dead so everyone can say ‘Jaz was right’.

There’s a balance between self preservation and seizing the moment which he needs to get right and go all in.

Genuinely depends ep to ep for me. The faithful are fecking stupid so want them getting rinsed, but at the same time keen for Jaz to wipe that smug smile off Paul’s face. Think Miles is a bit shit, but quite like Harry. Think he’s smart and playing a good game. He also correctly considered the double dungeon move stupidly risky.

Currently team Jaz though, hope he builds his case well. Thick cnuts like Charlotte can do one/anyone who says “you’re definitely a faithful”.

Surely someone has drawn up a list of everyone’s names and just gone through it name by name. Because I find it bizarre that no one is questioning Miles, or even Harry. Unless they are and it’s been edited out.
 
Firstly, it is amazing that not more was mentioned of the dungeons - there's no way Paul would have been saved by the Traitors ahead of Meg unless he was one. The Traitors cocked up that situation entirely and the Faithful have let them get away with it. Ash shouldn't have agreed to go in there as it was basically signing her death warrant as she couldn't converse with the others. Once it was agreed for her to go down, they should have just had the other three as Faithful and have the Faithful waste a day or so on finding another Traitor in that bunch but in the end the Faithful didn't bother.

Traitors completely cocked up the chalice - no need to go to the fire pit. If Zack had took a few more steps forward he would have seen them there... and then the farce in the library. "All" that was required was for them to take a few seconds to meet in the castle, just say one word - "Diane?" and "I'll do it" in the case of Miles then have him look for the chalice alone. Producers probably didn't think they'd make it as convoluted as they did.

Paul definitely cocked up by telling Jaz that Harry went to him - puts them both in the crosshairs - but I don't think Jaz has thought about that too much besides the offhanded comment in the chair.

I'm naturally for the Traitors but think Paul is too up himself. Fancies himself as a more psychopathic Wilf and it is ridiculous, especially after they all must have watched the first series, that nobody apart from Jaz can seriously see it.

Paul seems so obvious to me. But all I can think is that we only see a fraction of all the interactions and the producers obviously do their best to create a persona for us. Him being so popular in there means he’s clearly seen as really nice.
 
I think Harry could still just pass it off to Jaz as “I don’t trust you so I felt I should tell Paul. We need to share all our suspicions”.

Actually, that would've been a smart move by traitors if they were to kill off Meg in that hypothetical scenario as it would've made Paul the obvious suspect for the next day's round table elimination.

Or not so obvious, seeing as this group is completely clueless and barely questioned Paul at all :lol:

People were suspecting her anyway, she would've been up for banishment easily.
If they were both faithfuls Paul is the obvious kill, he's very popular, has a good amount of influence and there are only so few people willing to consider that he might be a traitor. You don't let those people stay in the game.

Last season I was team traitors all the way but I kinda dislike all the traitors this season, especially Paul, I find him so unbearably smug. So I watch every episode hoping someone attacks him and throws his name out there. So yeah I’m kinda team faithful this season even though most of them are kinda annoying too. I was a big fan of Anthony and I was hoping he’d go far.

Yeah wrote this before I'd seen the last few episodes. I definitely want one traitor nabbed!
 
Sorry, but anyone claiming "no he/she is faithful" is a dumbass. You can claim that you think others are suspicious or you think some are less likely to be Traitors but to claim they're completely safe is beyond idiotic it's not understanding the game you're playing. Jaz said it right, trust no one.

Now the problem I have with this format of the game concept is that all the strong faithful get removed in the game and you're left with the gormless cowards that are in it for the money and keep quiet in the hope they avoid being killed/banished.

Granted we don't know how the show is edited, so it could be that people aren't being quiet but simply edited out because they aren't in danger that episode. But too many of the faithful are edited to seem like forgetable sheep.

Hope they pick better contestants for Season 3.

I mean, if I was on it as a faithful my strategy would be to quietly collect information without ruffling too many feathers, try to get a strong group of allies without obviously being popular. It doesn't make good TV, but if anyone is playing that kind of game deliberately then the producers need to show more of that.

As a whole the show doesn't show much of the strategy being utilised. That, or there's a complete lack of strategy at play, which is entirely feasible.

Though, to be fair, I don't think it's a format that rewards strategy- not from the faithful, at least, as the success of any strategy is at the mercy of the traitors.

Assuming Diane has been murdered, I'm hoping an increasingly desperate Paul decides to claim that Zack was actually right and she was his mother. Ross' reaction would be great!
 
I would like to see less missions and more Charlotte in a bathtub.

Paul being so, so sure. Some of them picking up on the inconsistencies. Shock, horror the guy that just got a traitor killed won't get murdered. Who'd have funk it eh?
 
Jaz might be cleverer than he appears. I think he’s figured out Paul is a traitor, he said that to Zack before the task, but he also knows that Harry told Paul that he suspected him so he may have cottoned on to Harry. Tonight he voted for Andrew, maybe just to keep the traitor’s murder away from him. The best way to play the game as a faithful is to figure out who the traitors are but make them believe you are clueless until the firepit.
Harry for the win hopefully. I can’t stand how cocky Paul is, he has to go.

Harry's already started to betray Paul. He'll side with the new recruit over Paul. Paul's become a liability and will betray Harry in a heartbeat.
 
Don't get me wrong; spicing it up with a murder in plain sight, having no death in the morning and the ridiculous campness of the funeral task was all fine but by calling it a 'poisoning' instead of using more neutral language the producers put everyone instantly onto drinks and pulled the carpet out from under Miles, who had hardly set the world alight but was trundling along ok. Just say 'a Faithful was chosen for death last night' and leave them to consider all angles. It's obviously no skin off their nose given they caused plenty of extra drama and the Traitors have a chance to recruit anyway but it's a shame to see them sell out a player with production choices rather than them making a mistake (they'd argue Paul sold Miles out but he'd have done that anyway further down the line, they didn't need to hand him a big feck-off smoking gun too).

I'm enjoying the series overall though, it's a fun game to watch.
