Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Overlooked Ben Yedder yet again, pissed right off, was hoping he would get a rise, was counting on it actually, especially after two hat-tricks in as many games recently ffs. Gutted :(
Tomorrow hopefully. Not rising him would be ridiculous.

 about time. Thought him and Jones would be 89 forever.
Yes . Bought him off you years back and he finally gets the rise now. He did have a bad season last year tbf but that's the Moyes effect for you. Back to form now.

Sigh, Villarreal 5th and yet their GK remains at 88 rated. I forgot how shit Soccerwiki are at raising defenders/gks.

I just checked...

2,240mins - CB - Víctor Ruiz.............. + 1 to 89
2,160mins - GK - Sergio Asenjo.......... no rise 88
2,077mins - RB - Mario Gaspar........... + 1 to 90
1,643mins - LB - Jaume Costa............ no rise 88
1,566mins - CB - Mateo Musacchio...... + 1 to 90

God fecking damn it!

More City players in a City/United combined XI

Ramos (95) Boateng (94) Mascherano (93) Marcelo (93)
Busquets (95)
Iniesta (95) Hazard (95)
Messi (99) Aguero (95) Griezmann (95)

And that is without putting Muller (95) in for City who is same rating as Griezmann.

I hope to be able to match this in the international league that is currently going on. Just signed a whole host of young talent so I'll come back to this in 2 years

Scouting is great but some of those took up to four years to pay-off (Martial). Don't really mention it much but signed him in December 2012 when he was in Lyon's youth ranks and before he even went to Monaco. Cost me £310k and is now worth much more.

My one regret is probably with my left back situation. At one point I had five young leftbacks - Rodriguez, Guerreiro, Digne, Shaw and Gaya. Ended up selling Guerreiro and Digne. Not bothered about Digne but Guerreiro's done well for himself with move to Dortmund while Shaw and Gaya have stalled.

Signed Guerreiro as an 85 rated player, sold him as an 88 rated one and he just jumped to 90 in recent review. Oh well, can't win them all.

Yeah mine aren't on the martial level. (A couple of them could be but doubt it) players like Leon Bailey etc that are cheap as chips now but could easily go on to be the next martial.

Yeah that's the fun of the game getting those sorts of players and seeing what happens a year or two down the line. A lot more turn out to be a flash in the pan. Its tricky.

Yeah obviously that's why I've bought about 20 of them

Nacho + 1 as predicted

Southend Utd
La Liga players
  • Jorge Mere (19/85): + 1 (to 86)
  • Ignacio Camacho (26/89): no change
  • Iago Aspas (29/88): + 1 (to 89)
  • Yeray Alvarez (21/78): +5 (to 83)
  • Diogo Jota (20/83): +2 (to 85)
  • Gabriel Mercado (29/88): + 1 (to 89)
  • Nacho Fernandez (26/87): + 1 (to 88)

Bale, Kroos and Carvajal all get a plus 1 for my United team.

Morata was lucky to get 91 for my Sunderland though. Wasn't sure they'd raise him.

Right, I've gone for the @RedSky approach, sounding pissed off and likely to piss them off even more but I've had enough:

Five days ago I submitted a bug report about the fixtures for new season not happening in my gameworld on Tuesday 10th January when they were originally supposed to happen. I was told it was something that was being worked on and my bug report was closed on the 13th - four days ago. There was nothing saying it was fixed or when to expect the fixtures to happen, which should be done if it was indeed fixed and as the report was closed it suggested the problem was fixed. If it wasn't, then why close the bug report?

Furthermore, another person in my league had submitted a bug report and was explicitly told it was fixed on the 13th, when I was told it was just being looked into.

Here we are, four days later and people in my game world are discontent. This is a game most of us have played for four years now and it is one we enjoy, but that there have been no league fixtures since 2016 is unacceptable. We speculated that the new fixtures would be out today (despite it not saying anything), but we are now past the time the fixtures would normally come out on a new season and still nothing has happened.

What on earth is going on? Please give an update.

Kinda ruined it with last sentence but I wanted to get a reponse.
