Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Joined just over a year ago, and the fun of buying a few geriatric players like Del Piero, Roberto Carlos and Ze Roberto and then taking punts on youth.

My squad is constantly changing trying to catch the rises and I have had sooo many keepers and strikers it's silly, but that is the fun part of the game especially when I started in div 3. Seeing my squad now vs. when I had an 86 player as my top player I have enjoyed the scouting and dealing and sometimes the drama...

@Damien can you pm me a list of free clubs with squad value and cash details?

So got my first win last night against @Reckless Full Back. Good start to my career and all the transfers should flood in today ready for the new season

Alvaro Medran +2 today, now 84 :). Hoping for a few more risers this week.

Willian Jose should get a +2
Nzonzi + 1
Fran Beltran +3 (although I don't think they are doing the Segunda)

This is a rule we implement in our gameworld. Every team has a squad limit based on stadium size and division. Bigger stadium and higher division will have smaller allowable squad size. Give those lesser clubs a chance to survive

Players you loan-in will count for your squad size. Same goes for players you loan out
Ah right makes sense then. I won't be anywhere near that though lol
lol indeed

Think you should cancel some of them

I was always planning on doing. Just putting them all out there to see which ones would get accepted and then pick the best of the bunch

Only if you can guarantee to meet it at any point of time

Yeah if I get within 5 of the limit I'll ensure I've only got transfer offers up to the limit. At the moment I'm 17 away from it.

But you have 21 accepted bids pending to go through. Granted not all may be successful, yet...

How do I find these accepted bids. I was trying to have a look at all my bids before but couldn't find the right page.

Edit: Found it. There is at least a good 8 that won't go through as they are for real world managers.

If you are sure the 8 won't go through, cancel them. It makes things less complicated

I'm hoping some of them do though and then I'll cancel other players.

I guarantee I won't go over. I've cancelled lots already after having bids go uncontested on others so I'm keeping on top of it.

For those buying lots of players keep the player concern rules in mind.

  • Your 5 highest rated players and those rated 94 or higher expect to play in approximately 80% of the number of Turns.
  • Players rated 92 or higher expect to play in approximately 75% of the number of Turns.
  • Players that would expect to be in your first choice line-up and those rated 90 or higher will expect to play in approximately 65% of the number of Turns.
  • Players that would expect to be a substitute if you selected your first choice line-up and those rated 89 or higher will expect to play in approximately 30-40% of the number of Turns.
  • Keepers is 90% if they're rated 88 or higher.

Player concerns are easy enough to manage (from someone with one of the stronger squads):

Z3efcbG.png

1 = start
0.5 = sub
red = injured/suspended
black = didn't play

Concerns are reviewed on Turn 12, 24 and 36. As long as your players have had enough game time by each turn you'll be fine.

A transfer done after ages. Out goes Ayhan who has stagnated a bit and in comes the talented Jeff Adelaide.
