Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Did you take over that team to try and beat RS'?

No I had to take a team to get back in the league and Leeds wouldn't have me back.

I just picked the worst team I could think of. They always had half a star on FIFA.

I just saw the result, so I'm guessing that's what that's about. I needed to get back in the GW to have the debate over the Sunderland job, and since Leeds wouldn't have me back I just picked a side in division 5 since I didn't want to unnecessarily affect other teams. There's no way I could've known @RedSky's next fixture from outside the game world. Just a coincidence man, no need to quit.

Right, anybody interested in Liverpool has until tomorrow at 4pm BST to register their interest. Votes will then be open until Thursday 4pm if there are multiple people interested.

OK, I didn't think I'd ever do this, but after 4 long years at MK Dons - dragging them up from Division 4 to 1 and even achieving European success with them, I think we've gone as far as we can go together. The Liverpool squad is a little too good to ignore and should be performing a lot better than they currently are; so @Damien I'd like to formally apply for the Liverpool job.

It better be a damn good paragraph because it'll take a lot to gain a vote over gaz who has been in the GW for ages now and done superbly sticking to 1 club.

Yeah, I'd like to apply too.

I've only been in this gameworld for a few months but I've been playing SM for quite a long time now (since 2009) and that Liverpool team is a substantial improvement on what I've got with West Ham at the moment. I've tried to build a solid foundation with this West Ham team in the short time I've been with them but I'd like to try my luck with a team that has better resources if possible.

Manchester City vs Olympique Lyonnais
Manchester United vs SSC Napoli

Goretzka to extend his stay at Sheffield United

Manchester United is delighted to confirm that Germany U21 captain Leon Goretzka will continue at @Anustart89's Sheffield United side next season unless there is a change in circumstances such as Goretzka rising in rating or a change in manager at either club.

Goretzka has scored 9 goals and assisted 5 during Sheffield United's excellent campaign this season in Division 3 where they are currently top of the table.

Ipswich Town, West Ham, Bristol City and Plymouth Argyle are free to have similar deals on the United players they've currently got on loan unless they also have a change in circumstance such as players rising to 89 or change of manager but the former looks unlikely.

To be honest, I'd quite like Leeds back now I can't manage Sunderland. Still, I may as well stay with Morecombe since they won't have me anymore.

Stupid AI has signed a few players at Leeds. What I can do is keep an eye on Leeds and if they look like signing players to get Nigel to take over them then at end of season you can try leaving Morecambe and rejoining Leeds if it lets you. Maybe it needs a few weeks or so before it allows you.

They have? Ah man. I'll just stick with Morecombe then til the end of the season and see what happens.
