Be gentle with me, i'm a prescious little boy.

Feel free to give me some tips.
I played shiiiiitloads of CM back in the days, not so much FM, but a little, so i'm not a stranger to manager games.
 
Teams have a squad cap that is related to their stadium size and the division they are in. Your squad cap is somewhere in the region of between 44 and 60.
 
First i need to figure how to look at my club and squad.
I can't figure it out, i'm that stupid, or the game is just weird till you get used to it.
 
Think i'm figuring this out...
Pretty sweet squad for a championship side.

Discuss the squad with TT, he has put together a really nice team.

People are hawks and try to take newbies for a ride in transfers. Dicuss deals with those you trust. Again, TT would be the best man to go to.

Spoken to him a bit, i still think he loves the club.
I'm too experienced gamer to be fooled by the hawks :)

He's built it from scratch, will take time to get over it.
 
Lost £120k over the past week. To remedy this, the club are taking the following steps:
  • loaning Kurt Zouma out to West Ham United (reduction of £18k/week paid by Manchester United per week)
  • selling Aboubacar Sylla when his transfer ban is lifted on the 6th April. This would see the club reduce wages by £7k/week along with having over £100k from his transfer fee.
  • selling Kylian Mbappe to Hereford from the 14th April with a buyback clause inserted. Benefits both clubs as he'd instantly become Hereford's best player and benefits Manchester United due to short term wage reduction along with the cash generated from the sale. Has been agreed between the two clubs that should Hereford's manager decide to leave or United's manager decide to enact the buyback clause, that he'd return to United.
The following players are available on loan to any interested clubs:
  • Karim Rekik (21/86 D(LC))
  • Santi 'Barry Allen' Mina (20/86 AM,F(RLC))
  • Mouez Hassen (21/85 GK)
  • Georges-Kevin N'Koudou (21/85 AM,F(RL))

My first suggestion. Don't sell youngsters. Selling one mid 80s player should easily cover losses. And if you do want to sell, sell them once they have risen end of season and you have had time to look at the players. The players will be worth lot more.

So i have been looking at my squad, which is full, and decided i want to sell some players.
I want to free up some wages, and get money i can use to look at new players.
Yes, the Ipswich squad is pretty good, but if i just play a squad made by another player, i'll basically just be watching.

The players i'm thinking about selling, if i get bids i'm happy with, are:

Muhamed Besic D (RC) DM(C) 23 years, 86.
Louis Nganioni D (L) 20 years, 78.
Harry Winks DM, M (C) 20 years, 75 (@RedSky ?)
Adam Maher DM, M, AM (C) 22 years, 88 - currently transfer banned, so we'll have to wait till it ends.

Yes, I'm new, so feel free to make fun of my decisions! :)
 
Yeah, you need to do some transfers and scouting, that's the fun part of the game.
 
None of these are in my starting lineup, and Maher will probably soon be behind Kimmich (who everyone apparantly wants to buy from me. Go away!).
Besic is 3rd choice CB.
These will give some money, and reduce my wage expenses quite a bit.
The young lads are just unfortunate that Ipswich got a new manager! :p
 
Noob question:

Can i watch games and do changes, or will it use the subs and conditions i set in tactics?
