Mr Anderson
Eats, shoots, leaves
This is the new werewolf.
Shut it wolfy....
This is the new werewolf.
big-red what was your income from gate receipts?
281,090
Turns out I can buy an 87 right back by just paying for him with an 83 right back, makes sense.
Yeah... it seems you can just buy a better player by exchanging a worse player, as long as they're a little younger.
DN do you still want Iturbe on loan? I'm able to loan him out now though will only accept tomorrow after my last few transfers have completed.
Other game worlds have no influence in this one. All external clubs are controlled by the AI.

Thanks. So price per ticket is pretty much exactly the same as RedSky - £17.60 (and Mr Anderson's for Division 1 is £20.80).
If I can fill 3/4s of my stadium in the next league match then I should be able to pay the wages through the Receipts alone though I'm not sure. There's still Ground Maintenance reductions to take into account.
You're not counting season tickets.
Arsenal 2-1 Leverkusen
kaká and Alonso scored. On our way to the European title!
Great result!
Although, I must admit that means Norwich > Leverkusen
Season tickets are done at the beginning of the season only aren't they? I know there'll be some season tickets among the seat holders but for the time being the simple formula of Gate Receipts/Attendance for that match for both Nottingham and Crystal Palace show £17.60, so while I'm being simplistic in my view that it's £17.60 per seat, it works.
With the currents squads that's very likely.
Bid for him, my best transfer targets have all been poached and I am short on wingers and forwards.
Yeah they're done at the start of the season, but since we don't know what proportion of the attendence figure is taken up by season ticket holders you cannot figure out what price a single ticket is and your formula would not work.
Say, for instance, you'd sold 10,000 season tickets and your attendence for a certain match was 25,000 with a gate receipt of £50,000. Your furmula would make that £2 a ticket, whilst the actual price would be £10; without knowing the amount of season tickets sold you cannot figure out the actual price of a single match ticket.
Using your above formula, predicting that gate income for the next match would be £2 times the attendance figure, you might expect to see an attendance of 22,000 bringing in £44,000, but you'd be wrong, as only 2,000 fans would be paying the actual price of £10 per ticket, thus bringing in £20,000.
Using a little algebraic formula though, after two home league games you should be able to figure out the proportion of season ticket holders in attendance each game.
Just noticed I got almost 2 million in gate reciepts!
Good point cider. I imagine it shouldn't be too complicated to work out, but like you say will need two home league games to work that out.
Lost 1-0 to Shaktar, stupid AI manager played all knackered players from yesterday.
Just noticed I got almost 2 million in gate reciepts!
Yeah, I meant 20,00 season tickets sold, but the point stands.
Condition means nothing in European matches and players cannot get injured; poor excuse.

I hammered Malaga, Zarlak, if that makes you feel better; at least one team in Manchester has a decent manager. You're noithing but a clueless muppet-clown and your team is shit.
Signs I am not going to be taking a healthy approach to this game: "Hey, it rounded my available balance DOWN instead of to the nearest £100K....I HAVE £58k LEFT TO MAKE MORE TRANSFERS!!!!"
Look at my edit, with the formation. I might pay the odd quid for gold so I can manage it properly.
I did that this morning. Forward planning; something I have is spades and of which you have absolutely feck all.
You're managing like a 12yo with a Panini sticker collection. Wise up, you idiot, you're gonna get battered in the league if you carry on with the circus act!
Well I beat Getafe 2-1 but my Assistant picked a total ramshackle side and failed to play any of the big guns!
No Lucas, Kroos, Scholes or Kevin Prince
Just noticed I got almost 2 million in gate reciepts!
Handy for your player search!
You sure?? Think condition does matter for european games, and condition will carry forward into your next league game. That is what I read in the forums anyways.
Nope, all my players are fully rested now, even those who played tonight; it said in the fixture rules box that condition is irrelevant for Euro matches, that players cannot get injured and their condition will not be effected by playing.
