I won the first game of the season, even though I didn't realise it was the first game of the seaso, I thought it was another friendly lolzy.

 They only have 2 90 rated players, so they are one of the worst rated clubs in Div1. But that's not stopped some clubs from still doing ok in Div1, so who knows.

Yup. Not atleast the new match engine is introduced which gives higher rated players their due credit. Points gained till then by the likes of Norwich would be critical come end of season.

If the new match engine really does that then Damien would win the league every season.

Not really. Plenty of teams have average ratings within 2 points of his. I don't really know but I hope they have taken the sensible approach and the team which is better by 4-5 points win pretty much every game and not gone the other extreme and kill off competition totally.

Also, it's pretty tricky to work out how the match engine works in the new gameworld as too many of the managers are inactive so the fitness of players are very low. But my Wolfsburg side are 2nd. So that should give you some hope.

It's so random like that they aren't killing off competition, all teams can win the league or get relegated like that, if it was based on ratings alone then no one can even hope of winning the league other than Damien, plus he's already set for the future with the best youth team in the league.

So has this changed much since the start? Are all the best players still bound to their club with no way of getting them without a ridiculous offer?

Yes, but that's to be expected to be fair.

We've introduced a financial fair play system which reduces the amount of players you're able to have at the club depending on the max income of your stadium. Bigger the stadium the less players you're allowed. this system has forced the big clubs to sell up a number of players and it also means that they tend to miss out on the best young talents. We've had FFP running for almost a whole year now (started off in January 2015).

Oh right, sounds interesting. I'd like if the game had a buyout clause for every player, but quite high and something that you'd rarely be able to be meet (like 4 times the players value or something). I think more transfers happening more often would be cool.

Is this FFP built into the game or something that is just manually regulated?
