Sorry, I meant to ask whether wages bill will still occur again before new season starts. If yes, I will only recall my loan players later. Every penny counts :)

Oh, no wages are all done and dusted now. The next wage bill occurs on Game Week 1 of Season 10. So it's safe to recall all loaned players.

Sorry @Sepukku I have sold to Villa, I want to get my team sorted ASAP after the disappointing loss.

Midlands daily can reveal exclusively that Stoke City manager Big Andy has been batting eyelids in the direction of Aston Villa board. With couple of managers having already shown interest, things are hotting up. A poll on an Aston Villa forum however had fans divided about Big Andy in spite of his achievements. Some fans compared him with Big Sam while few other compared him with Fat Rafa. Aston Villa board however are thought to be admirers of Big Andy.

Current Stoke City Manager Biggus Andius has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the Aston Villa job during a press conference at the Brittania Stadium today...

"Having finished the season with Stoke, it is only fair to the Stoke fans, the team and the owners that I am up front with them about my ambitions. I am not a "nearly man", I am not a mid table manager. I am a proven winner, and I need a team and a squad capable of winning things, something I just do not see happening at Stoke in the short to medium term"

"In terms of wanting the Villa job, yes, this is true. I feel as though I can give the club the final push to take them to a title, TMH has done a grand job in building a competitive team, and I know that I can take them into a new era of glory, reclaiming the glory days of the early 1980's"

"If the fans can put aside their reservations, and get behind the team and get behind me as manager, then the sky is the limit as far as I am concerned. As the Motto of this great club states "PREPARED", I am fully prepared for this challenge. Thank you"

Blackburn fans hail manager Akash as the manager lead Blackburn to their maiden title. "He's a tactical genius!" gushed one fan and another said "He's our Fergie!" The decision to drop two of the best players in the team in Juan Bernat and Nicolas Otamendi for the last 3 games was met with raised eyebrows. But the selection paid of handsomely as as Rovers won their last 3 games to win the title.

Top scorer Dimitri Payet was named the club's player of the season while Juan Bernat was named Young player of the season.

Congrats @Akash. Are you still leaving the game?

No. Had decided to stay. Hence, the recent transfer activity.

Thanks man but sorry. I just lost the will to play midway through the season. Work, few personal things and my tendency to get bored with things suddenly randomly means I don't feel like continuing. Some time back I used to log in multiple times, actively think about buying-selling players, tracking youngsters... recently I was just logging in to change playing XI etc :(
This game's uncertainty and randomness makes it fun but given Villa has good squad assembled and few nice youngsters, it is proper to let someone who is interested in game to continue and improve.

In other news, @Big Andy 's odds of becoming Villa manager are shortening.

OK, so @syrian_scholes and Lawnmo are others currently interested. Lawnmo has got promoted I think so not sure if he is still interested and syrian_scholes wants to let playoffs finish first. I am not sure what process is followed when multiple people are interested in managing a top tier club? Is there a CV submission, followed by discussion and decision by outgoing manager along with SM committee comprising of Damo, RS, Varun, MJJ etc? :D

BREAKING NEWS: Herrera has also thrown his hat in ring for Villa job. Meanwhile The Villa fan who brought forward 'rather Herrera..' scenario has been perm banned from a leading Aston Villa forum. There are rumours that this fan is younger brother of PoP from RAWK. Few others say that he is Litterbug on wum.

Just starting to update the Squad Value table. One club has managed to get a huge increase from last season. I've only managed to add 10 clubs (who have no loans/loaned in).

That makes me sad and impressed in equal measure. You have incredible financial strength.
Thought it was because of Ozil deal. But I don't think Chelsea's squad value rose so much.
Selling is a big reason for my financial strength. Sold Davies, Gbamin, Nasri, McCarthy, Lucas Silva and Redmond last season along with exchanging Gomes and Lacazette for Sterling.

Once my preseason sales are through I'll have around 60m in the bank

Well, but you make a good net profit excluding transfers as well, right?
