ANNOUNCEMENT: In news that @MJJ will be delighted to hear, James MCCARTHY is now for sale. Whoever has submitted the highest pure cash bid by 9pm BST on Tuesday will get the FA Cup winning, 28-times international capped Irish(Scots)man.

has reached his peak unfortunately. Overrated by us Irish. Can't even show some control a midfield against Gibraltar.

It looks alright, but you have to sell before you can buy, due to the debt
Figured it would be better then having £9mill to spend at cardiff. Maybe i rate watfords team too much as a fan. But with no idea how much players cost etc just gambled. Theres keylow navas for a start who is 89 rated?

Yes, Navas is in Watford now and rated 89. Rating is based on real life, so if he plays well in Real, there is a chance that his rating will rise in next review (by SM team)

Blackpool is also a good team to have because, like Watford, was previously managed by other manager who has just left. However, as time goes on, the AI will take over the unmanaged club and start selling players that do not play for the club in real life

I have just downloaded this to my phone. I want to start playing but as a complete noob i have no idea what to do. I have played FM for years though so when i open the app hopefully will be straight forward. How can i join? I'll be the best team thats possible please.

It's pretty simple nowhere near as in depth as fm you will find your feet within a couple of weeks on it. Not sure who the best available team is but I'd say it's important to take note of stadium capacity when selecting one after that it's up to you to decide.

Okay looking at it, i could be brighton or sheffield united aswell as Cardiff who all have 30k stadiums where as Watford holds 21k.

Watfords team looks better to me but is in debt, whilst the others have money to spend - like 9mill. So what's better for me?

Watford and Cardiff have similar squad values but Cardiff have 13k more in stadium size. The other teams you mention are both worth around 30 million less than W/C. Cardiff all day.

I concur. Cardiff hands down just means you have a bit of rebuilding to do but that's the fun part

Yeah asked for Cardiff now. Their team looks alright in fairness. Need some better forwards now though.

It'll be possible but will take a long time with signing various risers and improving the team over time. Top division is so competitive that a couple of seasons ago Liverpool got relegated and Arsenal + Chelsea might be relegated this season.

Is there a FAQ somewhere on here? So far my questions are:

  1. What is a decent loan fee? I have a 77 rated player with a team interested in a loan.
  2. Am i right in thinking there is no attributes for players? Like penalty taking, finishing, passing etc?
  3. Is there a golden formation?
  4. Is there any point playing lower rated players then ones you have? I have a team of 80s but my youth team might be promising too. Am i supposed to play these somehow? If no training is involved what reason do i have to play these players
  5. I have macheda back on sunday, will he immediately be available to play? I have selected him but he is 82% and has bruised ribs til tomorrow.
  6. Players with "int" listed, does that mean I can't play them tomorrow? Couple of my best players won't be available if that's the case.

1. There are no loan fees. When you loan out a player, you pay half the wages.
2. You're right, there are no attributes but I think SM are planning on implementing them at some stage.
3. 3-5-2
4. No real reason to play them... there are things called concerns, with level 5 concern meaning the player puts in a transfer request but I don't think your players will get playing concerns
5. On the tactics screen, the fitness listed there is the fitness the player should roughly have the day of the match, so though Macheda will be able to play, I wouldn't advise it with 82% condition as he'll just get injured again.
6. "Int" means Interested and just shows that there are teams interested in that player. "Inj" and "Sus" means you can't play the players.

1. Depends on the value of the player. 10% sounds fair.

2. All hidden.

3. 3-4-3

4. Chairman and fans love a manager who gives youth a chance. Job security increases.

5. Depends on the player's bravery. If he's brave, you can play him. Pussies can't play if they have as much as a headache.

6. It means he's an INTeresting player to your fans.

3: depends on the season, one season it works really well the next your getting relegated

Very true. I hope the implementation of the single player code into multiplayer improves that but I doubt it. I really want to move to 4231 long term:

De Gea (93)

Aurier (89) Ramos (95) Kompany (93) Rodríguez (91)
Chambers (87) Zouma (88) Matip (89) Digne (89)
Jedvaj (86) ------------- Stones (87) Gaya (89)
----------------------------------------- Shaw (88)

Vidal (94) Pogba (92)
Isco (92) Eriksen (91)

Özil (94) Götze (93) Bale (94)
Sterling (90) Son (90) Memphis (90)
Iturbe (88) Silva (88) Guerreiro (88)

Messi (99)
Griezmann (92)
Milik (87)
Martial (86)

Is an excellent array of options.

Are the upgrades any use to me? Paying for features etc? And also i have a friend who might be interested in this, does he have to be a caf member to get involved?

Are the attendances dependent on real life average attendances or did I make that up?

Couldn't you have waited until after tonight's match? I felt my chances were good against a managerless team.

Someone joined Watford an hour before one of my transfers went through, too :( I can see this will be harder than I thought.
You've made some cracking transfers today though. I think you'll take me easily.

I'm looking to offload Carl jenkinson if any of the new managers wishes to take over his loan. 87 rated right back on loan from mk dons to Leeds.
