Gaming The SM RedCafe League

The chairman has decided to invest a further £27,703,851 into his Sportsdirect franchise. Your budget is now reduced by £8,000,000.

Viva Mike Ashley!

Your Chairman will always invest cash to ensure that your clubs 'net worth' (cash player values) is never less than 50% of the average club in your league. This ensures smaller clubs 'net worth' will not be too far behind the bigger clubs in your league. If you don't receive an investment from your Chairman then this is due to your clubs ‘net worth’ being greater than 50% of the average club in your league

Well that's just punishing managers who are good at signings. Hardly fair is it? Why do they get freebies?

Talking of how shit SM Developers are... look at this beauty planned for the update:

The players values don't increase after they rise, so small teams won't be able to play the riser game at all, which in turn means that the 'little club challenge' managers amongst us will find it impossible to make much headway.

Are they trying to ruin the game on purpose?

I for one am really happy that they are continuing to waste time and resources on ideas ranging from SHIT to UNNECESSARY rather than improving the game.

How does this work? Will value remain the same even if the player goes from being 80 rated to 90?

Yup. How fecked is that?

I'm really hoping it's just a bug, but thats how it works in TG1.

Excellent. Whoever thought of this and all those involved in approving this should all be lined up and shot for bringing down the average IQ of the community.

Sound message from the developers, don't waste time scouting talent and making money. Spend money like shit, invest poorly and we'll reward you by pumping money into the club.

He had the entire fecking world to pick 3 talents and 2 of his picks are alcacer and fecking samper.

I should probably delete that link as I don't want anyone shortlisting those players. :nervous:

Is he actually trying to pass these on as gems he has discovered? That would make it even funnier.

I thought he picked 3 known talents he expects to make the biggest mark this year and was laughing at 2 of his choices.

I really don't know what the point of the article is. It's a bit like suggesting to watch Sterling because... he's erm young? Laporte is one of the most known young CBs in Europe ffs!

I'd have gone for Inaki Williams, Leiva Nahuel and Samu Castillejo.

My other club is from old game world, and it happens that my squad value is around 170m, while other 9 managed clubs in the same division are above 340m. Also the fact that my club has just been promoted to Div 1 and has the smallest stadium

Not trying to justify the cash injection, merely to point out that it could happen to RedCafe game world too

If he actually took that angle, imagine picking alcacer and samper. Incredible.

Fair point. These things should be optional though because our GW actively tries to make it fair unlike other Gws and thus shouldn't have these injections.

Oh I was totally serious. The chairman decided to give me 48M out of the kindness of his own heart.
Oh, you quoted 48mil? Would have realised you were joking had I noticed the figure. Was browsing at work and didnt pay attention to the amount as there were so many people quoting numbers.

Just thought I would let you all know now that I have spent it all!
