Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Such a hike in wages would feck the bank balances and make the game less fun long term. Instead of fixing things that aren't broken, why aren't they fixing the cnuting match engine?

*Note this table only includes players rated 99 to 88. Players rated 87 or below don't seem to have changed much. So to get a rough idea of how doomed you are, take your total wages in the current gameworld, take it away from the figure in the table and then add it on to the New Wage figure.

So my total wage (roughly) would be 1.9m per week.
Good work. They better increase income from matches, sponsorship, prize money etc to balance it out if they go ahead with this.

heh

Here's version 2, this time I've totalled up all of the wages. I've assumed that no changes will occur to players 87 or below so simply added those wages on to the last table.

Are they looking to increase revenue to counteract these changes in wages?

Like give everyone an SM version of Ed Woodward to bring in official Crisp Suppliers, etc...

I'm hoping that they'll add in the ability to buy stadium increases. That might give us 30k's a chance against Arsenal/United and co.

given that its all based on real life stats, etc, I highly doubt that...they'll have to increase the revenue...

They have it in Single Player though.

think thats a bit different, in that ratings go up and down based on in-game performance, rather than real life performance...thats more of a Football Manager style game I think...

It's worse Ando... much worse! Look at the table above.

Holly shitballs. If that did come in, I'd be in debt after 7 weeks. I'm only making like 300k a week, excluding Europe, as things stand.

A lot would suffer the same of course

If revenues aren't increased, it will squeeze the fun out of the game by draining cash.

I find it funny that they confuse themselves with FM.

Who is our official crisp supplier?

Ya, they will have to index link revenue with performance. Instead of hitting a ceiling with revenue as we are now. Otherwise teams like Darlington who have done fantastic will get lost in all this. No reward for bringing small teams up through the divisions. Thus end up making game worlds smaller and less likely to las long

In a show of support to his fellow managers after government reformed wage laws for football players, Aston Villa manager TMH sympathized with managers who have stocked up big names and offered to buy their top earners. When asked how Aston Villa can afford to pay high wages, he said in a style reminiscent of Brendan, "you pay wages to laborers, I compensate players." When further asked what is the difference, he abruptly ended the press conference saying, "When seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea." Nobody understood what it meant but press is generally happy to have a leader in form of TMH to see through this tough phase. Manchester United's Messi, Forest's Neymar, Newcastle's Suarez and Arsenal's Rooney have all in the past expressed desire to play under TMH one day.

"expressed desire to play under" is a term of endearment in Uruguay, it means Suarez wants to bite into TMH peni.......

Is Spanish review over? If yes then it is good news for me that Pepe didn't drop.

I like this new wage thing, should, in theory, make things more competitive (I hope).
