Bristol City are hoping to tie up a deal for Gianluigi BUFFON of Swansea City
Bristol City are said to be interested in 93 rated Ferreira PEPE from Swansea City

It's very tough to get 85-88 rated players on loan. I think the usual is around 83 or 84 in Division 2 though some are lucky to have multiple 85+ rated loan players.

Not sure now. I thought he'd a be a good loan signing but seeing other division 2 teams it seems the standard is much higher.

Do loans come through straight away?

Well if an offer is made it can be accepted right away so that removes the 24 hour accepting aspect of it but it still takes a bit of time to complete - only a few hours or so though.

If you choose to you can loan him temporarily until you find a better offer or I can loan him to one of the other clubs if they need a player. He'd probably be most suited to a division 5 club for now given the competitiveness in Division 2 but he's still an improvement on some of the players you currently have.

I'll leave it. Thanks anyway.

Is there any way to search for players? Or see a list of players available for transfer? At the moment I'm just going through the teams.

No problem.

And thanks for posting that RS. Amazing to see the differences in wages and squad values. Peterborough United in particular are in a bit of a tight spot.

It is too late to join and get transfers through now right?

Nope :) You can join whenever and make transfers whenever, though they take a bit of time to go through.

Check the Opening Post mate, Barnsley is the only team available in the Championship. There are no transfer windows in this game, so you can get stuck in. But the transfer will probably not come through in time for your first official match (tomorrow).

Well those figures have reassured me a little. At least I'm not in the bottom 5 in terms of squad value and average rating but I bet I'm not far off.

How do you find all these stats?

Don't ask... if you open up a squad menu (where you see all the players listed in the squad) then there are totals right at the bottom. I copied those totals from each team and then produced a filtered table in excel. Didn't take that long, took longer to type it out on here actually :p

Thanks, will join though this game needs one to be online quite a bit.

I had read the OP but was unsure how transfers will work with player v player after the league has started.

I used to be Nottingham Forest long back - RS I see you have got that - but it was AI v AI only.

Oh I thought there was a way to see it all in one screen

Actually, I may be talking out of my arse here but I'm pretty sure there is a way to see the squad ratings, age and everything for every team in each division on one screen, because I think I stumbled upon it once but I don't remember where it was:lol:

I am indeed the mighty Nottingham Forest :)

I might have a few players available for loan (dependant on squad condition). Might only be for a few matches mind.

Once i've got my final two transfers in, i'll be able to build a list of players available for loan.

The waiting time for transfers to be confirmed is terrible... I've been waiting about 6 hours now for my last three signings to be confirmed after they've all been accepted!

That suggests to me Syd Martinez of Everton is working absolute wonders at Goodison Park
