Gaming The SM RedCafe League

This revenue for smaller clubs is a real pain. The gate receipts and sponsor money are just enough to make a positive dent. Not much profits at all. :(

Tell me about it...which club are you managing? I am in division 2 with Plymouth so even TV revenue is not much. I make losses on away games and no profit on home game  It can come down somewhat when transfer ban lifts and I get rid of many random players which AI bought before me taking up. Still more than a month to go for that, so lots of games.

Same. Ipswich in Div2. I can see the revenue difference with Div1 in Mk2. We just have to buy smart and get lucky with young players and get some ratings change on them.

Even those 'smart buys' have been snapped by big boys in div. 1 with this being 7th season :(
You have had a great start I see and with the team you have, you will get promoted so revenue problems should ease next season for you.

Problem is, even then I won't have money to by freed up players by div. 1 team. Right now I have 3 loan players critical part of my squad and 2 of them start each game. When they leave at end of season, there will be problem if I don't have money to buy them/replacements. I like it though...Even during my MBA, theory of constraints was one of my favorite subjects :)

Great start for Blackburn. List of clubs in the top 10 is bizarre though

Also, Ruben Vezo turning out to be a great buy for me. Rated 83 and regular for Valencia:cool:

Won 4-0 in the cup on Tuesday. Castaignos off to an amazing start though!

Solid 4-2 win over Bolton with Ibra banging 3 in.

Can someone please post his stats for the past 3 seasons? At the risk of jinxing it, he seems to get a goal or Assist every game, should have good numbers. Doubt any other attacker is as effective in the game. This has been a freak season though, normalcy should resume soon.

Season 4: 34 apps, 30 goals, 21 assists
Season 5: 34 apps, 21 goals, 15 assists
Season 6: 35 apps, 28 goals, 14 assists
Season 7: 10 apps, 19 goals, 5 assists
Total: 113 apps, 98 goals, 55 assists

I'm sure it can't be beaten. With those stats it's surprising you haven't won the league yet.

Superb numbers. I'm hoping he can lead me to a title this year or the next, with those numbers, it'l be a shame if he doesnt win one. The issue has been that whenever he has a dry spell, the others dont pitch in. Have come close in both the last 2 seasons i've been at Arsenal but faltered at the end. It was 3 points last season iirc and something similar The year before when you won it. Wasnt there In season 4.

I've resigned from Liverpool and Southampton. I'm not sure how to pass the control of the league over to someone else.

What is with people quitting, asking for deleting accounts and all left, right and center?

I'm not far off quitting, lost the last 4 games after a excellent start. Really wish they'd overhaul the match engine.

What match engine, it's a random number generator I am certain, with some multipliers thrown in. Hence why my wacky no defense formations work I think.

Feck me. Log on to find Nasri suspended and Messi injured - know result can't be good.

Watch the match, see Nasri get sent off, but surprisingly United go a goal ahead on 88th minute mark... Villa equalised one minute later

hmmmm

I'm dominating the newbie league however.

Chelsea beat Bolton 1-0 happy with that and in the MK2 league United beat Southampton 4-1 after a few draws since cavani came back from injury so i decided to drop him and go back to 4231 formation that had been working since he picked up his injury.
