Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Looking at you squad, you won't get external offers because you've put the price way too high on most of those transfer listed.

It doesnt matter. External clubs dont care about what value you put on players, they'l always big value + a 10% or so premium.

He's listed everyonefor £10 million. That won't make a difference? Even where the players are worth less than £4 mil?

Yeah, it wont. If a player's worth 4mil, he could list the asking price at 20mil, the external clubs would still bid around the 4.4-4.6mil mark.

The asking price is meant to be an indicator for managed clubs only.

Ahh, cool. Thanks. In that case I think the West Ham manager is off his head if he expects a £10 million bid from one of us for his 83 rated backup goalie.

Yes. Its why It doesnt make sense to bother with the asking price unless you're actually transfer listing a player that other managers would want. And that too if you're selling for cash.

United's bid for Fabregas:

£2M + Marouane Fellaini (around £11M) + Patrice Evra (around £11M)

My bid for Fabregas:

£7M + Ranieri Sandro (around £11M) + Etienne Capoue (around £11M)
I've given up trying to make sense of this utterly corrupt system. my bid for Aubameyang was around £3m over the second highest bid and he ended up going to the other team instead. farcical. guarantee I'll end up missing out on Pjanic too.

So the battle for Pjanic...

Swansea's bid: £8M + Pablo Hernandez (£7.8M) = £15.8M
My bid: £3.5M + Aaron Lennon (£11M) + Zeki Fryers (£3.1M) = £17.6M

Will be close but theoretically I should get him. Based on Fabregas and Aubameyang I probably won't.

I missed out on ginter this way, think its how the players are valued by the other team. My chairman overvalues everything.

Na, my bid for him was higher than yours. But yeah, the chairmen do overvalue their own players for some reason, very irritating.

Really?Must have confused him with someone else. As there was one player on which I had more cash and the combined value of my players were more than the other parties. Maybe klassen.

Yeah.

I lost out on Bakkali that way. To Southampton. Higher bid but he went to them.

I couldn't be bothered and pasted 10m on the transfer fee box for almost every player. If you want any player let me know

I'm speechless but not surprised. I can't beat "bigger" clubs when bidding more and can't beat "smaller" clubs when bidding more. Only club I can actually seem to beat to sign players is Arsenal.

Yeah, that's the 3rd transfer that's gone wrong. Unlucky but lots of things are mental in SM so am not surprised.

 and nah, it won't be five.

It will be five, you already know my situation as we discussed it last night. Heck I had the bid accepted yesterday for said player until SM fecked me over. He should be doing his medical right now! Instead you're nicking my targets again. Shameful.

Should hopefully have Song & Witsel incoming to increase my midfield and to an extent defensive options.

In the end, he won't be able to resist the lure of Gazidis.

While ye are all messing about in that league, I snapped up Jojic. Dortmunds new player. Delighted with that scoop.

Sule, Samper and Green all signed up. That's me done until the end of the season unless something drastic happens. Have myself a summer target and once I get him, my squad will be done.

Forest:

Aye, i've been busy too! Signed up Loris Karius, 20 year old GK for Mainz (who's been playing first team football) and I finally got the bid accepted for Leonardo Bittencourt! Meanwhile Laporte has also risen 2 up to 87.

Arsenal:

Signed up Erik Durm from Dortmund. Looking at bringing in a few more bodies if I can.

Here's to hoping! Turned down an offer from Liverpool for him recently, even more glad I did now.

Luis Filipe up to 91 for me in the new league, no competition for him either.

Alves (90)

van der Wiel (90) Caulker (87) Dede (90) Luis (91)

Sahin (91) Medel (89) Benat (90)

Callejon (90).................................................Turan (91)

Lavezzi (92)
Decent enough, very little depth, so injuries could feck me up. But the aim is survival this season, think I'm capable of it.
