Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Nah it's alright, it was my fault for not letting anyone know. I'll either pick up Middlesborough as is or just have a go with another side. When i get back on my laptop i'll have a look at what teams are available.

Beat Arsenal 3-0.

Unfortunately, as a result of that win:
  • Robin van Persie was sent off, so misses the next game (hopefully the cup counts as that or I'll have neither of my first choice strikers for the next league game)
  • Lionel Messi injured for five days
  • Ozil injured for six days

Cup game counts damo. Happened to me with Falcao cin draft league.

beat the scouse 2-1. Great result!! My strongest start to a season. Usually im at the arse of the table!

feck it. Going to start again I reckon, soon as I can I'll sell all the old hasbeens who are sitting there taking their money and contributing feck all every week and bring in some younger players that are actually worth playing.

Wish I'd just stuck with the team I had 6 months ago tbh.

Just out of interest, what's the TV revenue in Division 1?

Hopefully the rut continues for another week. Need to break the winless streak.

Myhill was sold before you took over.

I think I can guess what happened with Luisao. He had a bid accepted from Benfica the day before you took over, then when you took over the transfer hadn't gone through at that point so the system cancelled it, meaning that he stayed at your club but it is listed that he was sold.

Beat Drotmund. qualification in the bag now. time to play some young players.

Michael Keane with +4 this morning for me in the draft league.

8 clubs including myself were interested in Mauricio Isla. Actually staggered that no one else tried bidding for him. Some transfer war

Been looking at bidding for him for a while, but then I noticed he played less than 600 minutes in Serie A the whole of last season. Went for Sergi Roberto instead, hopefully he'll get much more 1st team game time as promised if Thiago leaves.

Pleased to announce the signing of Armindo Bruma from Sporting. Very talented young attacking player.

Drew 2-2. Messi, Eriksen and Ozil missed the game through injury.

In terms of real life transfers for my players:
  • Isco has gone to Real Madrid from Malaga
  • Digne looks like going to Monaco from Lille
  • Aurier has been linked with a move to Arsenal from Toulouse (and has posted a picture on Twitter of him in an Arsenal shirt, so looks like he wants to go there)
  • Eriksen has been linked to Dortmund and Liverpool, but someone from Dortmund rejected the notion of it happening
  • McCarthy has been linked to Spurs and Everton
  • Bale has been linked heavily to Real Madrid
From my youth players:
  • PSV want to sign Rekik
  • Zouma has been linked with moves to Anzhi, Chelsea and Newcastle (please, no)
  • Jedvaj has been linked to Roma (£5M offer rejected), Milan and Arsenal
  • Todd Kane has gone back to Blackburn on a season-long loan (I'm going to sell him)
  • Goretzka is likely to go to Schalke
  • Gomes has been linked to Chelsea
  • Markovic has either moved to Benfica permanently on a five-year deal from Partizan, or has gone to Chelsea and been loaned to Benfica for two years... very confusing but I think it is most likely that he has gone to Benfica permanently
  • Redmond has had bids accepted for him from Norwich and Swansea, but apparently wants to go to Everton
  • Castillo has been linked to Udinese and Sampdoria

United sign Zaha

Manchester United are delighted to announce the signing of English footballer Wilfried Zaha from Cardiff City on a two-year deal.

"Zaha is someone we have been after for a while," said manager Damien, "and we're glad to finally get our man. Zaha's versatility is a huge plus for us and we cannot wait to see him wear the United shirt."

Great signing for you. My chairman fecked me over again. Didnt allow me to bid more than 9.6mil. fecking idiot.

Damo, You have a younger squad of similar average rating with even more players. Why could you bid higher? Any idea how this works?

EDIT- scrap that. saw your reply in the game.
