Think only Watford had a higher number of shots in their 9-1 win over Grimsby Town.

I've got my 25 man squad sorted:

SARARER, Sercan (23/78 Wing/Fwd)
KING, Joshua (20/78 Wing/Fwd)

Sandro and Chandler are the two which may not be there at the start of the season, Sandro might be going on loan to Fulham if they still want him (and the chairman lets me), and at the end of last season I had a discussion with Forest and they said they wanted to buy him. Don't know if that is still the case or not as RS seems to have gone AWOL.

My loan list (feel free to put in loan bids on any of the below and I'll accept what I feel is the best club for the player to go to when the next season's fixtures are released). There is a stipulation that when we're at the halfway point of the season (19 league games) or when their transfer bans expire - whatever comes latest, I may recall a few but if I do I'll give out notice in advance and will replace any with like-for-like replacements:

Goalkeepers
AMOS, Ben (22/80)
ILIEV, Plamen (21/78)
HAYASHI, Akihiro (25/76)

Defenders
VALIENTE, Marc (25/80 CB/DM)
WOOTTON, Scott (21/78 CB/DM)
BROWN, Reece (21/77 RB/CB)
REKIK, Karim (18/77 LB/CB)
INSUA, Emanuel (21/75 LB/LM)
KOULIBALY, Kalidou (21/75 Def)
VERBOOM, Bryan (20/75 RB/RM)
CANCELO, Joao (18/75 RB/LB)
BATEAU, Sheldon (21/73 CB)

Midfielders
CANALES, Sergio (21/87 Wing/AM)
RODRIGUEZ, Patricio (22/85 Wing/AM)
POGBA, Paul (19/85 DM/CM)
BRADY, Robbie (20/81 Wing)
NORWOOD, Oliver (21/80 CM)
MILANOV, Georgi (20/80 CM/AM)
TUNNICLIFFE, Ryan (19/80 CM)
PATOSI, Ayanda (20/77 CM/AM)
BECH, Uffe (19/77 Wing/AM)
RADOSEVIC, Josip (18/77 DM/CM)
VILHENA, Tonny (17/77 CM/AM)
GIL, Carles (20/76 Wing)
LUKASIK, Daniel (21/75 DM/CM)
KAZAMA, Koki (21/75 Wing/AM)
GOMES, Andre (19/75 CM/AM)
CENTURION, Adrian (19/75 LM/Wing)
COLE, Larnell (19/75 RM)
MCGINN, John (18/65 DM/CM)

Forwards
GROZAV, Gheorghe (22/77 Wing/Fwd)
EZEKIEL, Imoh (19/76 CF)
STEPINSKI, Mariusz (17/75 Wing/Fwd)
MARTIAL, Anthony (17/75 CF)

Looks like Excal has resigned as Liverpool manager.

Yeah, not that surprising. I imagine the fun of it goes when you're banned. They've got a good squad and a balance of £10.7M. Should have little problem finding someone to take over.

I'm surprised I beat Tranmere to Javi Manquillo. We both bid the same amount and he bid before me so I thought they'd have got him.

Oh yeah, it must be no fun at all trying to play along whilst you're banned.

In other news, i managed a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in a friendly the other day. I forgot all about it to be fair so it just used the team and formation it was on previously.

Yeah, it's pretty fun.

Any Spurs players under 89 rating are available for loan.

So what does everybody's chairmen expect them to achieve this season?

Here's mine:

This season your Chairman expects you to mount a serious title challenge.

Yeah, it's pretty fun.

Any Spurs players under 89 rating are available for loan.

The loan system is messed up at the moment. It wouldn't let me send Canales (87 rated) who is behind Ozil, Nani, Gotze, Wijnaldum and Coutinho in the pecking order, but it would let me loan out Markovic (83 rated), who is my third strongest striker. Utterly stupid. Wouldn't let me loan out Amos either when in the past it let Zarlak loan De Gea out with Buffon first choice.

So here's my revised squad:

Goalkeepers
DE GEA, David (22/90)
AMOS, Ben (22/80)

Defenders
VIDIC, Nemanja (31/96 CB)
RAMOS, Sergio (26/94 CB/RB)
BADSTUBER, Holger (23/91 LB/CB)
RAFAEL, Da Silva (22/89 RB/RM)
SMALLING, Chris (23/88 RB/CB)
AURIER, Serge (20/87 Def)
SANDRO, Alex (21/87 LB/LM)
CHANDLER, Timothy (22/86 RB/RM)

Midfielders
DE ROSSI, Daniele (29/94 CB/DM)
OZIL, Mesut (24/94 Wing/AM)
NANI, Luis (26/93 Wing)
GOTZE, Mario (20/91 Wing/AM)
DIEGO, Ribas (27/91 CM/AM)
ANDERSON, Luis (24/90 CM)
WIJNALDUM, Georginio (22/88 Wing/AM)
COUTINHO, Philippe (20/88 Wing/AM)
CANALES, Sergio (21/87 Wing/AM)
CLEVERLEY, Tom (23/86 CM/AM)

Forwards
MESSI, Lionel (25/99 AM/Fwd)
VAN PERSIE, Robin (29/94 Wing/Fwd)

From that I can make a different league and cup lineup (of course RvP will be playing in a lot of league games and there'll be rotation so probably won't see the lineups below in that many games).

League:

de Gea (90)

Rafael (89) Ramos (94) Vidic (96) Badstuber (91)

De Rossi (94) Anderson (90)

Nani (93) Gotze (91) Ozil (94)

Messi (99)

Cup:

de Gea (90)

Chandler (86) Smalling (88) Aurier (87) Sandro (87)

Diego (91) Cleverley (86)

Coutinho (88) Wijnaldum (88) Canales (87)

van Persie (94)

I do have some more signings planned to improve the bench options though but those signings will most likely be done partway through the season.

I've still got plenty of players available to loan:

Goalkeepers
ILIEV, Plamen (21/78)
HAYASHI, Akihiro (25/76)
MANDANDA, Parfait (23/76)

Defenders
DIGNE, Lucas (19/85 LB/LM) ** bid accepted, should be in my squad in the next 24 hours
WOOTTON, Scott (21/78 CB/DM)
REKIK, Karim (18/77 LB/CB)
INSUA, Emanuel (21/75 LB/LM)
KOULIBALY, Kalidou (21/75 Def)
VERBOOM, Bryan (20/75 RB/RM)

Midfielders
NORWOOD, Oliver (21/80 CM)
MILANOV, Georgi (20/80 CM/AM)
TUNNICLIFFE, Ryan (19/80 CM)
PATOSI, Ayanda (20/77 CM/AM)
BECH, Uffe (19/77 Wing/AM)
GIL, Carles (20/76 Wing)
GOMES, Andre (19/75 CM/AM)
CENTURION, Adrian (19/75 LM/Wing)

Forwards
SARARER, Sercan (23/78 Wing/Fwd)
KING, Joshua (20/78 Wing/Fwd)
GROZAV, Gheorghe (22/77 Wing/Fwd)
EZEKIEL, Imoh (19/76 CF)
STEPINSKI, Mariusz (17/75 Wing/Fwd)
MARTIAL, Anthony (17/75 CF)

My Chairman expects me to avoid relegation. He's given me 3.4M extra on top of what i already had to play with as well which should make things a bit easier for me when it comes to trying a few transfers. If i can get a few better players in i think i may be able to hang on and stay up.

I've also had Fredy Guarin have a position change, he can play all the central midfield positions now which is handy as he was just a straight up central midfielder before, now i can use him as an AM or a DM if i need to.

I've got some tough games at the start of the season (Chelsea and Everton away in the first three games) and the opener is against Big Sam's Middlesbrough. United played a promoted team in the first game last season as well.

I was just about to mention i've got United first, guess i'll chalk that one up as a loss now then!

I'm expected to title challenge. No pressure.

Please to see MK Dons get promoted. I was battling with them for 2nd for most of the season so I'm glad they've got themselves up as well.

Only just noticed this post, cheers JB. It was a good battle for 2nd, but my boys couldn't keep up the pace towards the end... we seem to like those playoff's though, back to back promotion that way!

First match is away to your lot as well  Good luck for this season.

My Chairman wants me to qualify for Europe. I'd be wanting the same thing too. Anything around 10th place and I'd be chuffed.

Three rating changes for me to youths:

Code:
Georgi Milanov (CM/AM) +4 84
Sercan Sararer (Wing/Fwd) +6 84
Joshua King (Wing/Fwd) +4 82

Anyone looking for loans can feel free to loan any of them if they want.

I completely forgot winning the cup puts you in Europe. Do European games effect player condition?

So far not many big name changes.

The following teams have been reviewed:

  • F. Düsseldorf
  • FC Nuremberg
  • VfL Wolfsburg
  • 1899 Hoffenheim
  • FC Augsburg
  • Greuther Fürth

89 Rated

Code:
[B]Player Name Club Change[/B]
[COLOR="Green"]Bas Dost                    Manchester City            + 1[/COLOR]
[COLOR="red"]Naldo                       Plymouth Argyle            - 1[/COLOR]

88 Rated

Code:
[B]Player Name Club Change[/B]
[COLOR="Red"]Christian Träsch            Sheffield Wednesday        - 1[/COLOR]
[COLOR="green"]Roberto Firmino             Doncaster Rovers           + 1[/COLOR]

Hopefully that means Diego Ribas isn't going down in rating, then (though with the number of clubs they've looked at they might not be done). Chandler went up 1 to 87. Only waiting on Gotze and Badstuber now, both of which should hopefully go up 1.

I'm waiting on Mandzukic, i think he'll be going up by one at least.

EDIT: And Lars Bender, think he may get a rise which would leave me in fairly good shape really.

I collected German players. I have 7 waiting to be reviewed. All are first teamers:

Robert Lewandowski
Sebastian Jung
Alexander Meier
Bernd Leno
Andre Schurrle
Stefan Reinartz
Lewis Holtby

Expecting all except Reinartz to increase.

I'm hoping my German contingent of Reus, Leitner and Rode get a rise. Maybe a long shot but Javi Martinez too, I know he has a good few minutes under his belt but not sure on his performances, I haven't kept track.

First three are guaranteed, it is just a question of how much - + 1, + 1/2, +5/6 most likely.

Just turned down a sizable offer from an unnamed club for van Persie, and finished preseason with a thumping 1-0 win against Accringston Stanley - next up, Middlesbrough.

Ya, not expecting Martinez to rise really. Facing big test against a strong Sunderland team tomorrow. Tactics in preseason worked good, food for thought for tomorrow.

Bring it!

Should be a decent game, if i get a draw i'll be very happy!

My messages in the game are blank, I have no idea what people have been telling me, better send me a message here in the caf

I'll be editing the first post in the next couple of days, but I was hoping someone would join and take over Leeds United so we have a full division 1 for the new season.

feckin hell Liverpool, shorlist my entire team why don't you.

Same. They've got a good squad, great stadium capacity and they do make a decent amount from home games as well.

Ah, I'm not the only one then. Wake up, see 20 messages, think "finally, more loan offers have come in" - nope. He shortlisted 19 of my players and the other was another club rejecting an offer from another club for one of their players.

mine too  Also tried offering me 2 shite players for Suarez. I thought he was upto the Trionz tricks of shortlisting your players and hide a bid for a player that you have interest in.
