Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Hey guys

I was away for a week and couldn't answer any requests. In my messages I see 2 applications but I can't see them in the gameworld control panel, so please if anyone is still interested in joining the league please send me a pm again.

We currently have 2 teams available in division 1: Bolton and Swansea

In division 2 we have: Birmingham, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Doncaster Rovers and Preston North End

All these team have a decent ammount of cash so you can unleash your inner muppet.

If this can be shared in the newbs I'd aprecciate it.

Sorry if you've chucked bids on my players in the past week and a bit. Been busy as feck with exams and shit, and only just been able to get back to this now.

In preparation for the retirement of Javier Zanetti I'm on the hunt for a new CB for my starting XI and am willing to trade David Silva as part of a deal which would see both a 90+ CB and a decent replacement CM or Winger joining Manchester City in exchange.

I've made good offers to a number of clubs but as yet have not been able to strike a deal; obviously, with Silva being one of the best midfielders in the world of football, the decision to let him leave Manchester City will not be taken lightly.

I'm thus open to realistic offers. I'd prefer both a CB and a Midfielder in exchange but if any club wishes to offer a very highly rated CB as a direct swap I may be tempted by such a deal. Cash offers are also welcome though probably unlikely as I'd not be willing to accept anything less than around the £50m mark. I'm not so interested in in-game ratings of players, but most importantly I don't want your rejects; I don't want players who are old and past it, I'll only entertain offers of players who're either on top of their game or are highly rated in terms of potential.

Please contact me via PM either on SM or on the caf with any offer you wish to make; don't use the SM chat function as it doesn't work on my phone and I won't be able to reply. Those who've dealt with me before will know that I'm always open to negotiation and am not wholly unreasonable in my expectations as some managers are prone to being; that said, I know which players I like and which players I don't like and will not be convinced to allow Silva to leave on the cheap.

Lost 4-1 to Newcastle - surprisingly my heaviest defeat this season. Blackburn won their game so Leeds are currently 3 points above the relegation zone with a better goal difference. I play Liverpool next.
 
Division 1 table update:

Stoke and Millwall still look like they have no chance of survival, while Blackburn's win gives them hope of staying up.

You're only the second team I'm unbeaten against this season - joining the mighty Stoke (currently 19th).

I'm away to Everton next - a huge game in the battle to avoid relegation. I'm not liking the look of the games I've got left but hopefully I can pick up enough points to survive.

Leeds are delighted to announce the signing of Iker Muniain on a 4 season contract. Unfortunately he will be unavailable for the remainder of the season but is expected to be fit for the pre-season tour in preparation for next season.

I snapped up Reus aswell. Delighted, wanted a replacement for Marin since he hasnt made an impact at Chelsea at all....the cnut.

very happy with the depth of my midfield now, defence is a bit meh, need 1 more player. Strikers are ok-ish. would like to get an 89 sub in. Average age is good too, no one will retire for another 3-4 years :D
 
It seems several people are breaking the gentleman's agreement about not buying players from unmanaged teams...
 
Yeah Maniak, it was brought up a few days ago, once one person does it though then others do too.
 
I think my time at Wigan is coming to a close...I'm going to see if I can get them back to the big time, and then take on another challenge...either at Bolton or West Brom, depending on if they are still available come season end...

The lack of funds at The DW Stadium is a joke...I'm losing about £300k a week, and with a negative balance, I can't even do straight swaps for players...

I've got a reasonable first XI, but after that, nothing, and I can't even bring in reinforcements...

Big talks with Dave Whelan planned, the old cnut...

I cant answer for the rest but I wasnt aware of the rule when I bought etoo from swansea. I did ask someone to report the deal and get it cancelled when I realized you guys had that agreement.
 
MK Dons can feck off. It's like they've hacked my account, gone down my short list and thought, "Oh, I'll sign him" about everyone over 88 rated on there and have somehow got every single one despite (in some cases) putting in an inferior bid to me!

I now see what all the fuss is about. Franchised cnuts.
 
Lost 2-0 to Everton - no great surprise there, well done TR. Gaitan is suspended for the home game against Arsenal up next and the team are now 17th in the table, just 2 points outside the relegation zone with 8 games to go.

1. Don't add decent players to your shortlist to let other people know you're interested!

2. Did you expect players at that rating not to be sought after?

3. & finally, they weren't inferior bids, a player exchange deal is always going to be a better deal than a cash only one (which you've been offering) as the chairman demands more. It's not my vault some of the average players I had were so highly valued by some of the other chairman's.

Anyway, you've still got one of the better squads in the league.

It's alright, most of them players you've signed wont even know what MK is so the odds of them actually arriving to play for your team is virtually nil. They should have signed for a big club. ;)

I'm only messing mate, I'd imagine we'll both go up this season again one way or another.
