I have no need for centre mids. 
Kolo Toure is on the transfer list for a reasonable £7.5m. I won't accept any less because a Com bid will come in sooner or later at that price. He's 90CB/RB 31yo. You won't find a better deal than that; there are one or two 89's who are older, one 90 (Gallas) who's 34, but Toure is the best value experienced defender available in the game right now.
I'll have him Cider. Just need to wait for a transfer to go through which'll get me the money.

Subotic? Why a CB? I had quite a few and all highly rated. Both the 1st choice RB and LB can play at CB and are rated 90 and 89. Their backups are 85+ too which would mean shifting either to CB wouldnt be a problem. That was the whole idea behind my defence, players that can play multiple positions meaning i didnt need more than 6 or 7.
Didnt think Villa needed a CB. Either of Veloso or Vidal gets injured and it'd be Bannan who's an 85. Add to that Alcantra will definitely go to 93-94 in a couple of seasons.

Phil, as a matter of interest, why did you pull out of signing Pereira after I put my bid in? My bid was the bare minimum, so you probably would've won.
I don't expect Clark to be anything special. I do expect him to go up about 2-3 points in the next England review, and an 87-88 rater who can play anywhere in defence and DM is very useful cover.
First team is done, no one else on the market for me that I want or afford. going to build up the the reserves now. getting rid of some youngster of my own, some are too long-term, I need players who are a bit more advanced in their development. Otherwise my challenge to stay-up/get promoted are huge.
Because Subotic is young and worth quite a bit already. Not only that but I believe defence is the most important feature in this game, and I noticed with Preston that when one of my really good defenders were out or NMF I usually lost.
And considering how long it takes seasons to complete in this, I'd be surprised if anyone was still playing by the time Thiago reaches 93-94. I certainly won't be. Oh and lastly, I'm trying to save the team from relegation, there's no long term plan here. Create the best team possible in the shortest time is what I'm doing.

I presume goalie fitness doesn't matter, does it? Tim Weise must be a little jet lagged after arriving this morning, and is only on 75% fitness. He'll have to play though as I have no back-up
