Gaming The SM RedCafe League

The deal involving Derby County and Hedwiges MADURO of Valencia has been turned down. Valencia have decided to proceed with another offer.

Oh feck off Coventry!

Shawcross, Pieters and Baird have finalised their deals and are now at Leeds. We're third on total squad value too (and our squad value is higher than Swansea from Division 1 :p):

How do you get the squad values to come up?

West Ham's is £170M!

Thanks for that.

To think West Ham have £4m worth of players out on loan. So it is £175m, I've got £13.2m worth of players out on loan. So Reading will be £139m, may be more when Jelavic and Amaflintano link up at the Madejski.

Park Chu-Young, Andrea Poli and Borja Ekiza incoming. Fantastic days business.

Good pick up on Park, was hoping no one would bid on him, 88 rating and not too expensive.

Yeah I'm pretty pleased with getting him - great value signing IMO, he's effectively cost me a squad player who hasn't played for weeks and a youth teamer.

Great, not only i lost extra money because i wanted to fend off cider's attempt to get Afobe.
Hervas' value is down by 600k as Frimpong arrived before bid for Hervas arrives.
SM, where are the bids?

So I'm overachieving with my Cardiff side then according to those

I did only start with 5mil though. It's not out of choice I've not been joining in with the muppetry.

"Unmanaged clubs within your Game World will only accept cash offers for players."

Since when? :(

Since always. Stops the umanaged clubs getting stung with shit swaps.

Is it me have the external bids started to dry up a little bit? I've had Livermore and Pato on the transfer list for nearly a week and haven't had a single bid.

I've only got bids on non transfer listed players. Never had anyone bid on a transfer listed player of mine.

Boom Shake The Room

I have briefly put my muppet hat on.

It was with a heavy heart that I sold club captain Daniele Bonera (88 rated DEF), but an offer of £7.2 million from former club AC Milian, for a player that was worth £6.4million, and was turning 31 on the 31st May, was way too good to turn down.

With that money, I have come out of debt, and am in the process of bringing in Larangeira Danilo of Udinese, a 28 year old 88 rated CB who, in the real world, has played over 30 times in the league for them this season. (Special thanks go to BD94, for being a good man and not fecking this transfer up for me).

I have also brought Jonny Howson (84 CM) back to the English league in exchange for Julian Koch and 300K... he wasn't my first choice, but he's what I could afford, and he did quite well for Norwich at the back end of this season.

Finally, straight swapped Yoann Gouffran (88 FWD/WING) for Mario Mandzukic (89 FWD/WING) whose been banging them in for Wolfsburg this season, and perhaps even for Croatia at the Euros.

And with that, my brief jaunt into muppet land is over.

Tick Tick Tick Tick Boom.

Offers have been accepted for Tevez.

We have the following:

QPR - Alessandro Matri + Claudio Yacob

Swansea - Riccardo Montolivo + Ivica Olic

Tottenham - Younes Kaboul + Kyle Naughton + £5,200,000

Chelsea - Romelu Lukaku + Tomas Kalas + £2,000,000

Leicester - Diego Godin + Ilkay Gundogan + £1,000,000

Stoke - Bruno Alves + Fernando Gago + £2,500,000

Nottingham Forest - Loic Remy

West Ham - Oscar De Marcos + James Tomkins

Newcastle - Pedro Velasco + Duarte Bernard + £7,400,000

Norwich City - Klass Jan Huntelaar.

Looking at those bids I stand feck all chance of snagging him. Front runners for me are Swansea, Newcastle & QPR.

Now the bids come in for my transfer listed players! Couldn't of been 24 hours ago.

Bastards.

I just got 3 bids in as well! Its like they folks at SM just flick a switch every once in a while.

Despite massive interest from a whole host of clubs, including Man City, Ivan Cordoba has decided to leave Coventry and join Quindio.

It stopped me making a decent bid for Tevez though

Plan was to sell Livermore and Pato and then buy Tevez with the money and then save the rest.

Lyon have just offered me £9.4 Million for Bafetimbi Gomis...

Definitely a thanks but no thanks situation.

Still, thats now the third time a former club have bid for their player... is that often the case?

I just got a bid from Athletic Club for Iturraspe so it could be.

Well today I had a bid on a TL player (Wilson) as well as a non TL player (Gaitan). Of course I rejected both.

Despite me dismantling my squad to the point where I've only got one player left who has scored more than 1 goal and just 6 players with over 2 appearances (soon to be 5 when I send Cahill back) I'm fairly happy with my transfers. My squad will be smaller but a few of the players are versatile which is good in terms of backup options. Just waiting on one more transfer then my business will be done (though I'll be trying to get an 86 striker on loan if possible).

You owe me AN, I now have to settle for my third choice!
