Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Yo, the condition for loan is i can call him anytime when i want. And i am currently only playing in the league, so i don't see any injuries coming my way. Also i play only 2 central midfielders of 88 rating, and i have one of 87 rating. And my CM is 83 rated. My least rated player in my team is my defender with 87 rating i think.

Maybe your lack of squad depth is the reason why this(bold) is the case...

And  at "i don't see any injuries coming my way"! How could you possibly predict that?

Yes it is. I started my transfers poorly, and when i understood my mistake, it was too late, had no money.

Basically i like the fact that im just in the league, because as you said, my squad can't compete for more than 1 trophy.

Because i think most injuries are when you play a player who's not fully fit. With my schedules, my players would be fit for all matches so i doubt anyone will get injuried.

Then why are you sending CM cover out? I made the same problem when I loaned out Nelson and had to subsequently recall him as I had no cover. I then bought more cover so I wouldn't need him.

I doubt your in a position to do this and you'll end up pissing people off if you re-call players due to your own ineptitude.

I have enough players to compete for promotion. It's more than 1 competition i will suffer in. Also that 83 CM is 5 ratings less than my minimum first player rating. So i need to cut the wages, i will basically never play him this season.

Doesn't make too much of a difference whether your in one competition or not, injuries aren't a direct result of fitness. You could get one injury and your covered, another and your in trouble.

I had Muller out for like 2-3 weeks off full fitness, depends on tackling and circumstances. In regards to your point about your player being 5 ratings down then the rest. In my last game or one before that I played Leandro who is 10 ratings down then my usual striker.

Well, you clearly should have a better depth considering your finances will be up consistently :p

Still, its better i loan him out and lessen my wages. Also, i will clearly mention that i can recall my loanee whenever i want.

What's your balance Omar?

Not a lot of striker's up for grabs at the minute unfortunately and didn't have a lot to start with. Luckily Leandro has been good whenever I've needed him.

BD, my balance is -545k . But i am not at all worried like i was before. Because selling one player can easily get me 3million

What's the betting on Blackpool getting raveged by injuries in tonights game?!

Could use a left back on loan rated above 83. Anyone?

I've got Carles Planas (21/84). Problem is I'm planning on using him in a deal at the end of the month if things work well so if you don't mind you could loan him till his transfer ban ends on the 27th (he'd be available for 8 league games). There'll probably be someone with a LB who is more available though.

But then you will have even less players than you have now. You don't have the squad depth to casually sell a player for 3 or 4m

But i guess ill get enough money at the end of the season. So ill be selling some transfers and getting some more people in.

I'm sure Omar(Blackpool) will loan one of his players. He only needs 11 players as he's only playing in one competition and won't be getting any injuries.

Yeah, actually i don't mind loaning people for just one day to get through one match.

You bastard, I remember him very well.

I don't mind that though. Will make a bid if no one has anyone better available.

Losing interest in this. Shame every turn takes so long.

I don't mind the length of time, a couple of games each week suits me fine. Maybe next season there could be some sort of youth cup arranged in the friendlies? A group stage to begin with so that some aren't out right away, and then a knockout stage later on.

Could be a possibility, but the friendlies don't seem all that realistic? I know the game overall isn't but the friendlies seem like pot luck.

Oh well, playing most of my reserves vs Everton tonight. My players have played so many games in a row, they're all knackered.

Hmm good point.

Doesn't help that most of them aren't far off collecting their pensions :D

Rare appearance for Caulker?

Yes! He's getting a start in central defense alongside Monk. My two youngsters who were only bought in to bolster the number of the squad on thet fullbacks aswell, so Caulker will take full blame if I doesnt keep a clean sheet. (i.e less gametime)

Ah, your not such a bad lad Burrow!

edit: Monk should take all blame as he's the most experienced, Caulker's learning his trade.

He's making his 2nd (?) appearance of the season. Safe to say he's been my scapegoat, as he was the main man behind my 5-0 loss against Stoke.

Couple of things from other worlds:

Explaining in Spanish that I don't want to exchange Clichy for Kolo Toure. No not for Toure plus 6 million, either.

It's very weird to play in an MLS league, partly because you've got all the top players concentrated on just 14 teams, and partly because of the thought "If it weren't for the suspension for Iniesta and the injury to Robben, there's no way Tim Cahill would've gotten in Real Salt Lake's starting XI."

I looked at Gold Championship 1, wondering if it might have avoided the "concentrate all the top talent in one team" syndrome. Not so much. This lineup for Spartak Moskva:

Valdes; Maicon, Terry, Pepe, Marcelo; De Rossi, Y. Toure, Cambiasso; Tevez, Higuain, Pato

is this club's SECOND team. The first team is:

Buffon; Alves, Ramos, T. Silva, Chiellini; Iniesta, Messi, Xabi Alonso, Ronaldo; Ibrahimovic, Villa.

Those teams are insane. Are they the top team in GC1 (with Messi, Iniesta, Ibra, Villa and Ronaldo you'd think so)?
