Gaming The SM RedCafe League

FAO Levo.

Anderson made his debut in a 3-0 cup win tonight making 2 goals.

Away at Chelsea in the next round. Gulp.

Drawn away to city.... feck. Should I go for it and hope for luck or just accept defeat and play reserves?

 I thrashed Boro 5-1 with my reserves, average rating 85.

I gave it a go... ended the game with just as many shots on target as well. That's what happens when you've got you're 3rd choice striker up top I suppose (even if he is Yoann Gouffran...)

Also, in possibly the greatest loan move ever... I loaned in Bruno Zuculini from QPR, he plays one game against City, score a goal, and I've promptly sent him back.

He will forever live on as a 'Boro legend.

Go for it. Play a side similar to the one you played today and you'll stand a decent chance I think. Look at the players he played in his game - quite a few youths.

That's rich...

Anyone taking managerial advice off Dorkien1990 needs to be fecking taken out into the street and shot in front of their families.

That's rich...

Look at the side he played against me. Their ratings: 93, 86, 89, 89, 82, 89, 87, 83, 86, 94, 98... I didn't stand a chance - yet I only lost 2-0. Since then he's decided to disrespect the competition and play sides that are a lot weaker - in that case Brighton will stand a good chance.

Agreed. I came up with the name Dorkien by combining your already stupid name Damien with the fact that you're an absolute fecking dork.

Where are you on the "This is too easy, i want a bigger challenge" bit Cider? Lots of clubs up for grabs in this game..

I know, I wish I'd have taken one of them now. Even though it's piss easy though I'm dedicated to my club now and cannot see myself managing any other side, I've invested far to much time and energy into making City by far and away the best squad in the game hands down to see it all go to waste.

:boring: All mouth and no trousers.

Top of the league, still in three cups.

Well done. A fantastic achievement with the league minnows Manchester City and poor, little known players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Manuel Neuer, Sergio Aguero and Sergio Busquets. Not to mention your tough cup fixtures against Leeds, Middlesbrough and MK Dons. I don't know how you've managed that on the little resources you do have.

Simple. I'm just the best.

Look at the list of all time greatest managers. I'm top.

The Red Cafe League Cup Round 4 Draw

Arsenal - Everton
Chelsea - Cardiff City
Derby County - Wolverhampton Wanderers
Manchester City - Brighton and Hove Albion
Peterborough United - Ipswich Town
Southampton - Preston North End
Watford - Birmingham City
Wycombe Wanderers - Nottingham Forest

Last 16 breakdown:
5 Division 1 clubs
7 Division 2 clubs
3 Division 3 clubs
1 Division 4 club

Could have been worse, looking at the draw. Away again though which is annoying.

Lost on penalties. Glad to be out of it to be honest.

You're top as you've played more games.

Sort by average points. I'm top. With fecking Millwall.

This. And cider is 8th on average points.

Average points is irrelevant, the table doesn't say that anybody is the greatest manager of all time except me. Sort the league table by goals scored away if it puts your team on top, it won't actually mean you're on top.

Only it isn't, at all. If we were 2 points in-front of City having played 5 more would you say that's irrelevant? That's the case with our points.

Not like it matters anyway...

I'm sure a fair few of us have players who haven't played yet but still don't want to loan out. You cannot predict an injury crisis.

This. And cider is 8th on average points.

Actually he's not. Sorting the Best Mingers table by average points just orders the ten on the list. Of all the current managers in the league, Cider is 18th in average points, behind (not in order):

Everton
Blackburn Rovers
Stoke City
Millwall
Hull City
Ipswich Town
Birmingham City
Cardiff City
Peterborough
West Ham
Scunthorpe
Preston North End
Oldham Athletic
Sheffield Wednesday
Bradford City
Tranmere Rovers
Darlington
