We need a pundit to criticise Divison 1 performance.
I nominate Damien.
or can we approach noodlehair to do his blogging on this as well.

No way.......I'd get sacked with all that in the "press" :nervous: I'm still scratching my head as to how I've managed to lose every single home game in the league

Friendly tonight vs Leeds. Unlike Damien, who seems to be happy when he loses 1-0, I'll be unhappy with anything but a win. Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if Leeds put out a weakened or experimental team as an excuse for when he loses.

I nominate BD with his "fighting talk".

Bit of an anti-climax that. 0-0 between me and Damien, though I had more possession and over 3 times the shots.

Friendly against Derby ended in a 0-0 draw. Good game BD, a close contest.

Next two games are very important.
29th April - Leicester City (H) - League Position: 19th Form: DLLWLW
3rd May - Millwall (A) - League Position: 1st Form: DWWDWW

Millwall's next two games:

Derby away
Leeds home

Two tough games with two teams looking for automatic promotion.

Although you only had 1 more shot on target than I had :p

Interesting game. We both used the same formation and arrows.

Yeah:lol: I altered my formation slightly to combat your 4231. Did you do the same?:)

Friendlies are worse in realism then the actual league games. maniak had hardly bothered with his team or tactics by the looks of it, yet still beats me 4-2 with me having the better set of players  I also managed to get dominated possession and shots.

Think I'm going to back to playing all the kids in the friendlies.

 Yeah, I saw you use 4231 a lot like I do.

The promotion battle in Division 2 is very interesting. There's probably 7 or 8 sides looking towards automatic promotion and most of them will end up disappointed. I think in the next 2 games I'll drop down to 3rd but hopefully I'll go into a good spell of form to put myself back in the automatic promotion spots. I tend to do badly against the teams that I should beat 'on paper' and as Leicester showed against you they can be tough to play against even though they are in the relegation zone.

The Carlisle United manager will be resigning now, they are in division 3 and 2nd currently with an OK squad that requires little modifications, hopefully the team gets a good new manager.

I put a lot of tought into this game:p

Beat Wolves 2-0 away from home. Tested a new formation out with the injuries to my wingers. Worked a treat thankfully.

Stobzilla, the feck was that formation?

I'm the same. Lost to Leicester and drew to Barnsley iirc. That Leicestet game was a real kick in the balls. I hope some teamsat the top start to wilt, as I can only imagine there will be some thin squads there. Im happy enough with my squad depth, and have 1m in the bank, so hope to achieve automatic promotion.

I have enough depth. For example I have 3 of my first teamers out for the next 3 games but still have a healthy squad despite it.

I was more talking about the teams in 3-8th spot. Haven't checked all the squads tbh, but I reckon there are a few lacking in squad depth.

I'm predicted mid-table so I won't be surprised if my form starts to drop. With the start I've had I wanna make the playoffs though.

Some in here did a load of lists with average rating, squad value etc. Anyone know where to find them on the site?

How much balance do you lot have? I've been at around 1.5m, but at this rate it'll be ages before I can get my muppet on.

I was predicted mid-table too, but would be unhappy not making play-offs.

Im sure Damien will be able to throw something together for squad depth and sizes of the top 5 or 10 in Division 2:wenger:

Mine is now at 900k. It fluctuates quite a bit, but is on the rise. It was on 300k a few weeks ago

I'm fairly happy with my squad depth too though I do have an issue at both CB and CM which I'll need to address at some point but it isn't a huge concern at the moment. I lost to Barnsley too :nervous: hope I won't lose to Leicester but I've got a bad feeling about it.

I was at 1.1M but have made a few signings for the Youth Team since so I'm at 100k but it'll be up to around 600k after the next match. I'm still in a fairly health position financially making around 500k after each home game and losing just over 300k each away game. I've got a few risers who were bought just for that purpose and should net me over 5M when I do sell them.

Yes. Go to this link and click on 'Club Search'. In the 'Game World ID Number Search' box, paste the following number: 101474 and click on The Red Cafe League link to see the box which has all of the average ratings and squad values.

Squad size is a piece of cake but how exactly do you represent squad depth? Which rating player would be considered not good enough? I've got four CMs rated 84+ (2 on loan) but I don't really consider the 84 rated CMs as part of my squad though I should do. If I do then I'm fine in all positions but if I don't then I'm understocked there. It's hard to say.

Yeah, Id consider your squad to have sufficient squad depth. I though I was well enough stocked!

And you have good finances. If you don't get promoted, you'd seriously have to consider your managerial skills!;)

I'd say any players 84 or over would be good enough to play, with players on 83 acceptable, but you wouldn't want too much of them. I'd have no qualms in playing two or three 84-86 rated players in among 88 and 89s

I'd agree with that. As for me getting promoted I'm getting to the point where I'm in danger of starting to over think the tactics which might be more harmful than helpful but we'll see.

Stobzilla, the feck was that formation?

It's my 3-4-2-1 or 3-6-1 if you will.

Was always my favourite formation in pro evo, I need a better striker than Carlton Cole to make it work properly though but there aren't many available given my budget. Which went on youth, centre backs and midfielders to try and implement it.

Dammo, don't talk shite, you're not getting fecking promoted.

Did I ask for your opinion? No. Now stop acting like a cock for once in your life and go back to signing players for inflated prices. There is no need to continually keep commenting on my affairs like you do. First the Sunderland job, then my tactics against you and now this. You don't spit out anywhere near the same amount of vitriol to anybody else. Why me?

From the way you keep acting I almost wish that I don't get promoted this season, but then I think "you comment on what I do enough and I'm not even in the same division as you"... just shut it.

He fears you and your amazing tactics Damien:wenger:

Gay rant, but you're still not getting promoted.

Beat Leicester City 3-1 :)

Welliton scored a brace, Inzaghi scored one and...

Gaitan got 3 assists!

12 assists in 13 games that he has played for me :) Absolute star.

Fourth consecutive 1-1 draw. And I even changed my tactics for this one.
