Manchester City announce official partnership with Sheffield United
In a deal which sees the highly rated 18yo Goalkeeper George Long making a permanent move to Eastlands for a record fee of £1,000,000, Sheffield United have entered into a potentially lucrative two year partnership deal with the Premier League leaders which will see up to three young starlets move in the opposite direction on a season long loan basis.
George Long is the latest player to join Manchester City's academy, an institution widely regarded as being the best in world football. City's dominance of the football league looks set to continue for years to come with stars the likes of Bernd Leno, Joel Obi, Mattia Valoti, Marcelo Brozovic, Zakaria Labyad, Aras Ozbiliz, Michy Batshuayi, John Ruiz, Bas Dost, Bogdan Butko, Michele Camporese, Markus Henriksen, Manuel Lanzini, Lorenzo Insigne, Luc Castaignos, Nelson Oliveira and Alvaro Morata just some of the thirty-six names manager ciderman9000000 has brought in to not only rejuvenate the academy but to thrust it to the forefront as the very pinnacle of footballing development. Without doubt the manager has cemented Manchester City's position as the place to be for upcoming young talents with an eye for goal and a hunger for trophies.
Questions must be asked though of City's rivals; does nobody have the desire to compete for the long-term success ciderman has all but secured for his club? With the English Premier League looking set to become a one-horse race for the foreseeable future, nervous chairman are looking towards their own managers for answers which are oft proving difficult to find. Zarlak of Manchester United and the scandalous, front-page hogging Urbanned of Chelsea who's facing accusations of indecent behaviour with two fourteen year old girls from YouTube are two managers under particular pressure.
