I'm playinh in another 3 worlds besides the Caf league, but still in the early days of season 1 in allof them.
After 6 matches I'm 1st in a Gold World with Académica, which is not easy at all.

The thing that's difficult with gold worlds for me is trading... I can never get anyone decent. I know the thing where you search through all the unmanaged clubs and poach any of their good players, but other than that, you can't really build a squad...
For instance, say you join a team with a terrible squad but £190m to spend. You search through the available clubs and gather together a decent team of 86/87 rated players for cash. How do you improve the squad then? You've got no players that are trade-worthy for anything better, and people don't accept cash bids, so you're in a dead-end. I'm that position in a few gold worlds now... Don't know what to do!

Gold setups, though i have never played, needs a long term strategy; where you have to keep an eye for new players being added.
Ofcourse if you have a good eye for talent, and can negotiate well; you can always lure someone to buy one of your player(who you think is not all that & is merely having a purple patch of form. for eg: Gourcuff, Olic, Chamakh).
I suggest buy some average players who have flair in their play, and as soon as they are being hyped up; offer them to others & see if it works.
I would suggest Victor Moses for an instance.

Yup, good luck with gold setup. the mere concept suggest me it's going to be really difficult.
There was a time when free agents would be signed for 40-50m in those setup, because of sheer lack of talents available.
I am however glad that you made this setup. It can be as competitive as Gold ones.

Mine is fine. Nearly everybody on 100%, though Cahill won't play due to injury and Welliton's condition is too low.

Dabo, Callejon, Jenas, Roux, De Ceglie, Alvarez, Abdennour, Oscar, Angoua and El Shaarawy all potentially out but you need to play at least some of them due to how small your squad is and could bring up more injuries. I wouldn't like to be in your shoes right now.

You only need one top keeper and literally whoever else as never seen a keeper get injured or have less than 100% condition.

Play a 4-4-2 diamond then switch to 4-3-3 if I'm losing at 60 minutes.
Payet and Nene are my wingers. Nene has 20 assists in 24 games - incredible.

Regarding buying players always look for ones from unmanaged clubs or external clubs.
The way I search best is to go Game World - Transfer Market - Search 90-99 Any and then go from there.
