It’s a bit flat this league. No one wants to transfer any player’s or do anything a bit risky. Kind of like a big stalemate then bum fight for any new young players who aren’t actually of use to anyone’s first team immediately anyway.

Kind of a little boring teams hoarding good players they don’t need and won’t sell for anything reasonable. Especially when you’re looking to improve your first team.

I'm selling De Tomas, F(c), 27, 89, bout to move to Prem.

Transfers of players do happen, see:

Thu 14 July
Middlesbrough (dutza 90) have swapped Gerard MORENO for Frello JORGINHO of Darlington 1883 (Mani .).

but they're mostly swapping similar rated players in different positions. Cash transfers don't really happen in the league except for the couple of clubs who are struggling with money (Bradford, Gillingham). You can get good deals but you just have to work hard for them

So I don’t get why managers are keeping players they don’t need, transfer listing them and only looking at PX or another ridiculous deal which weakens the buyer.

There’s players sat on the transfer list there for months now and every offer is rejected. Most of the clubs already have squads full of 90+ first team players plus snap up young gems and fill the loan quota.

Don’t see how teams like mine are meant to improve really.

Mostly about finding those young gems who improve over time. Southend United is the best example.

He signed de Ligt as a 73 rated player, now 92.
Robertson as an 85 rated player, now 93.
Donnarumma as a 75 rated player, now 92.
Bastoni as a 70 rated player, now 92.

Then he uses some of the players in part exchange for those who grow on to be better players.

Example: he signed Piotr Zielinski as an 83 rated player, then exchanged him when he hit 91 for a then 83 rated Alphonso Davies (and £15M) who turned 92 rated within a couple of years

I’m regularly trying to get deals done but keep getting countered Tchouameni for players who alone are worse than him.

I’ve taken plenty of risks recently and am open to deals but frankly I’m fed up of being the one to always have to over pay for a player People always want something extra to have absolutely zero risk on their end and I think that’s unfair personally.

Id happily sell some players to you if you let me know who you are interested in.

For example I’ve offered Dembele Le Normand and Ocampos for Raphinha and had zero response. That is a replacement 91 winger a starting CB for that club and a starting striker too. No response.

I’ve PM’d about Mahrez no response.

About a month ago I was quoted David and Locatelli for Grealish only to be dropped to Aouar and David for Grealish (both players younger and only 1 rating below)

Im never opposed to deals and took a massive gamble on Periera for Zouma and Corona that didn’t pay off but it’s really really hard to get anyone to do anything without you tipping the balance to 70:30 in their favour.

Im keeping Vertonghen likely for this season and Moutinho until Koopmeiners returns from his loan.

Then players like Aspas faded out for Gakpo.

All of those will probably be cash sales then there are some players like Locatelli who are brilliant but I’d be happy to trade for an AM or a RB etc.

Essentially here’s the list of 89+ PE players available from Cardiff that may be of interest to people:

Thiago
Locatelli
Ocampos
Tomori (must be replacement CB)
Aouar
Le Normand
Dembele
Ward Prowse
Sarr
Celik (would need a RB)

At every club I've been at in the league I'veade multiple deals over 90, sold many players for cash, tbh I find it boring holding onto players for no reason, I do feel as though there are some who needlessly hold o to players and demand over the odds for players simply because they can. But its up to you continually coax managers into selling, there are deals to be made always.

Meand benito are great examples of that, the amount of transfers we've made at our respective teams are a reflection of that.

Can they just give musiala his 93 and end the last race to 90

Dalot will emerge as best RB in the league
SM are racists and have denied ben yedder for 2 years now a minimum 92 rating. Pathetic.

A full breakdown of the youth table can be viewed HERE.

This league is what you make of it. I generally only do cash deals both at Barnsley and Gillingham (we will ignore my Everton madness). A few exceptions when I had TAA years back and just needed money and player rating.

I absolutely love churning my team around through a season. Having a core set of players but then churning out people after rises. My main aim is to stay in the black which is tough as Gillingham. I was lucky with Mendy, this set me up for a big churn right now. I have my eye on potential youth and potential older players. It is about taking a punt on someone like demerai gray. He moves from 87 to 88 now he is gone and I look at my next punt.

You may then say my team will not win things, but I am always up there in div 2 using players rated 87 down to 85. Did this better with Barnsley getting into div 1 and people hating to play against me. In then end it is how you create your own challenge and goals. I will never go for a big team, I will only go to div 5 when I get bored of Gillingham...(or back to Barnsley when they are free again #biggestregret :()

Love this mentality keeps things fresh.

Mine is just try to be competitive each season. Don’t think I’ll ever have the best squad but one that hopefully can beat most sides and win a cup or two.

Always looking to help smaller clubs with loans or cash sales where possible or even leaving targets for smaller sides (Lafont).

I find it fun to try and pick the golden oldie here or there that might last you a season or two on the 90/91+ mark before trying to sell for profit but more recently now I’ve decided to make some space for younger players and see how many gems I can find.

I like the 22-24 market as there are a few players hard to search that rise now and then as possibly 90 players at worst you get a rise and profit and sometimes you get a solid squad player.

Example being Moutinho and Aspas heading out for Koopmeiners and Gakpo to take over. Nice stop gaps for two possible 91+ rated players in future both Dutch which makes it even better!

I've had far more enjoyment bringing Hereford, the smallest and poorest club in the game to this point. Forest was a fun learning experience but the Hereford project has been a good rollercoaster ride. Now I need to break my cup duck.
