Can we just agree next time they go dead we just kill them off
Ok, he can apply whenever.@Damien Cassady agrees to take over Liverpool
You can buy him back unopposed if you want given you sold him only because of the draft which isn't happening anymore. To be fair you announced it as a draft and so regardless people are now expecting it and have made preparations for one.

Misquoted there. Meant to quote @RelevatedI haven’t sold anyone...
I do however think it’s best in future that once a draft is on this thread it’s live.

Is the below not confirming it? I just sympathise with anyone who did sell unnecessarily as it appeared to be announced to me.I think people got a little over excited is all. Just wait for the draft to be confirmed before selling players.

Absurd.
They have two weeks to raise the funds and there's no guarantee you're going to get the player you want anyway. If you sold a player before the draft or your pick then you only have yourself to blame imo.Call a draft officially, making people sell players, then cancel the draft to allow a Manager to take over... then not actually start the draft.
Cmon guys, do this shit properly please. It's unfair on everyone else.
Desperation for calling drafts in this league is ridiculous, shows how dead the GW market is.
how about damien take plymouth and we do a draft on united?
re balance the league
Oi. I have one of the fewest players in the league, and arguably I help redistribute players as Mansfield would attest to. One of the early people in the draft could do with taking a leaf out of their book recruitmentwise as it could set them up for years.Or the two worst offenders for player hording (Manchester United and Manchester City)![]()

Also, a problem I have is whenever it looks like I'm okay in a position (LB and RB), the main starting players end up being played in other positions on real life - Alaba at CB, Kimmich at DM - which screws me over. So I have to have 3/4 players to be safe.
I don't have an issue with hording, it's part of the game. But at the same time, i've been both a decent team (Forest) and a weak team (Hereford) for a considerable amount of time now and I understand the issue from both sides of the coin. It's part of the reason why I forced FFP Caps on the game when I was at Forest and I certainly didn't have an issue with drafts. I think it's a vital tool for the Gameworld.
Don't see any need for justification. You have managed your squad well over years.I've got five of them loaned out, mainly to sides who wouldn't have been able to afford the players outright and until the Sancho deal, I had an informal agreement with sides that if I didn't want the loaned out player anymore, they'd get first choice once they're able to raise the money. I understand how hard it is for some sides, and simply they can't afford some of these players in the first place that I've nurtured from wee babies. The loans are invaluable to them, and I try not to be excessive in the players I keep. I'll likely be selling another one or two once the season is over.
Thanks. It isn't easy. The other day I was reminded of a part exchange deal I did for Dele Alli in 2017. Ozil (28/94) and Dier (23/91) for Dele (21/91). Now their age/ratings are:Don't see any need for justification. You have managed your squad well over years.
Pretty much. Ofcourse a Utd manager has a good base to work with but Damo still built it superbly. Plenty others fail at it.Don't see any need for justification. You have managed your squad well over years.
Thanks, you're making me blush.Pretty much. Ofcourse a Utd manager has a good base to work with but Damo still built it superbly. Plenty others fail at it.
Yea. This doesn't seem right. Get the pitchforks. Thanks, you're making me blush.
That would probably just about make Bred's at 21 squad limit tbf.So we're agreed then? -5 to all squad caps? Excccceeeelllent.
