Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Fact is wino you can't have your cake and eat it too, you were found out trying to work around the rules which would have ended up breaking them so accept your ban and stop moaning

Whole heartedly agree. We all agreed to the rules and we all know the rules, the fact that you’re tying to use how they’re worded to get around it is a bit crappy. Just take your ban and get over it.

I swear it was always a rule that you couldn't make bids that would bring you over the FFP limit. Regardless of your numbers at the time, my understanding at least.

Well, you know my stance. Was pushing for the bans in the first place. Either they step up and accept the bans or forever be looked upon with disgust. How about that?

Or you know, resign like a little baby. @Wino1

FFP Rules - Failure to abide will result in death.
FFP Rules - Anyone Breaking This From Now On Will Get A Kenwood Juicer Thrown At Their Heads
  • A club may not have a squad larger than his Max Squad limit.
  • Loaned In players will count to your squad size.
  • If your squad size exceeds your limit, your club will be banned from transferring any players in to the club. This includes P/E deals.
  • If you reach your squad cap, you may sign players but any deals would require 1 player in and 1 player out to ensure you remain on your squad cap
  • For teams with squads below the FFP, any bid made on a player shall be assumed to be won by the team bidding, and included in determining your squad limit for FFP.

Been busy with life recently so not been able to put too much into this. I would like to point out that @Wino1 was not the only one in this. He also said he would accept the ban and wanted to challenge others views as well. Please note that he is correct in terms or rules but sportsmanship is in question, as is that of any other willingly doing the same.

I am aware that this may then get others saying that I do not get it, but my character is black or white to logic. Give me rules and I follow them. If they are not there in writing then I will not back them so please think of that before responding to me with raised eyebrows as I am sure you are doing as you are reading this or shaking your head and want to try and spell your view out to me or others.

The only reason you and wino are even arguing this is because you have not played in a gameworld where man utd and arsenal had 200 players between them with 90% of the players out on loan. The rules are there to protect smaller clubs such as yourself, trying to find loopholes around the very rules that are protecting you is the height of stupidity and goes against the spirit of the things.

To then further defend that stupidity is laughable, if we do away with the rules for a week all of you will be crying and not going "give me rules and I follow them" like some kind of social justice warrior.

This, all anyone has to do is ask how much damo has in the bank, if he had free reign he could snap up all talent and redsky would clean up as well with risers

Not true. Is an assumption.

True. Hence why we have ffp.

Let me be clear, I disagree with what all of the other players did and I am not defending that it was in the spirit of the game as it was not (and this goes to all players who actively knew), I am defending that this was a valid loophole which has been actively closed therefore we are at an end of the conversation.

Assumption? wtf are you on about.

1. You assumed I have not played in a league like that.
2. You assumed that was my only reason for defending.

Both pointing to the fact I do not quite umderstand what you are getting at, but I do.

Thought it was self explanatory. Sorry I will be a bit clearer next time just couldn't be bothered to write it. :)

1. I assumed that you have not played in this gw when that used to happen which is a fact.

If you do understand what I am getting at stop defending people who are trying to find loopholes in a community agreement.

Wow, 200 players in this gameworld. That sounds rubbish. Thank god ffp is in now.

Just trying to highlight that people are different and react to rules differently, not defending the actions.

Ps. Am happy to move on now as I got bored half way through reading all the posts anyway.

That is the funniest bit in all of this. It's the smaller clubs that benefit from FFP fecking around with it

Damo short term injuries like a month aren't so bad when you get knee ligament injuries like Tolisso and Umtiti then it really effects development.

Lyanco (been out pretty much a year now), Milik (twice), Zouma... been there, got the t-shirt.
Sure. But I was making the point that 1 month injuries aren't so bad in the grand scheme of things. Esp established players like Alli who will walk back into the team once fit.

Irritating for Goretzka and Merino who were trying to get into their teams. I was just making a point that @RedSky said I was doing well for injuries then I got a whole lot in a short period. Still a pain even if they're short term.

Yeah can be a major set back for the younger guys.
